Love this shade. I think all of Bobbi's cream shadows are great except for the fact that they dry up too easily.

This is absolutely my HG eyeshadow.. I'd been looking for a sparkly, sorta glamorous color that wasn't dark/smoky/heavy, and this is absolutely perfect. Not only do I adore the color, which ends up working well as a vintage-looking sparkle, but it looks fantastic when I just line my eyes with it for a little sparkle. I dropped the glass container, and I thought I was going to cry- but I rescued it and put it in a new jar. I will forever rebuy this! If you want to know what the color looks like, its identical to the shadow in this look:

Oh, and perfect creamy consistency too.. I can't wait to try other long wear shadows. One last thing: eyeshadows fade in 25 seconds for me but this lasts for me more than 24 hours, and after that the shadow doesn't streak, it just fades prettily!

You know, I really like this one. It is one of the more sheer shades, as you don't get a dense shade of green. It is more of a golden green, sheered out. I do like this one on it's own for a subtle wash, but I mostly find that this one looks fantastic over shadows applied first. I think some of these are intended to be layered over more opaque eyeshadow bases to get the best effect.

Moonstone is part of the Bobbi Brown Beach Club Collection, launched in Summer 2010.
Color: In the pot this looks really beautiful: a golden green, with a slight hint of teal, really precious.
Applied unfortunately I found it to be a different story. Moonstone has been another attempt for me to venture out into BB's Metallic Cream Shadows. I did not care for any of the shades of the last batch from late '09, these all looked intriguing in the little pots, but turned out to be a gritty, sheer, sparkly mess on my lids. Little to no color payoff, loads of chunky glitter and even removing this product was unpleasant because it left me with glitter all over my face, not good. Moonstone is pretty much the same, I had a very hard time achieving an even result - the first layer I put on turned blotchy, golden glitter here and there, not a good look at all. I have and really like several of BB's matte cream shadows and apply these with my finger tips, I also have the BB Cream Shadow Brush and tried to use that brush to apply Moonstone hoping that would do the trick, but it did not make a difference to applying with my fingers. The chunks of glitter are suspended within the eyeshadow base, so I had to apply several layers to even it out on my eyes. End result was not satisfying at all. I wish it had worked because the shade itself is so very pretty. I will stick with BB's Matte Long-Wear shades and the shimmers, but the Metallics don't seem to be my cup of tea.
Overall: Great shade but the Metallics consistency did not work out for me.
Packaging: Little square glass containers, the opening could be larger, especially when applying with finger tips.
Price: $22.
