I have 8 SB including this one. I am Nc 43 /BBwarmnatural/honey.
I would liken this to the Bronze SB and there is a very small difference between the two but as Im so picky itshuge to me. Basically because Im medium dark skintone any white or creamy colour highlighters can look too much and can actually sometime goes a silvery white colour. I dont think this is the case with fair skintones.
The top bar inbronze is white and when swatched it looks goldy buton my chheks it does come off a bit too white. If i wear this i always wear it over or und a pink orpeach blusher.
The Beach doesnt have this white bar so it does look a bit better even on it own. I like it that i tracked down a back up as it was LE.
If you are darker skintoned try and find this instead of the bronze one.

I am very fair and I love the Shimmerbricks because I can take Bobbi's Face Blender Brush and with a couple swipes really give a gorgeous finish to my look without looking garish. The Shimmerbricks really give you a glow with a hint of color. Not Beach. When I tried to use the same brush and my standard application method I looked like a bbq potato chip. A shiny one. I improvised, and now apply this with Laura Mercier's (properly de-skunked-wow did it smell at first) Finishing Brush. If I am careful I can get a slightly beachy glow with this on my pale skin, but really, I should have just returned this. Not a forgiving shade, a lot of red in it. Best for darker skin because it is so pigmented.

This is my first SB and I am hooked! A beautiful shimmery warm color that is not too glittery, more so glowy. Gives me a beautiful highlight, that just looks angelic and light. The color is beautiful for my NW45 skintone, but I think it is a pretty universal shade. Two colors that stood out to me the most is the lightest champagne color, it shifts to a pretty pink color. And another color, a peachy pink, it reminds me of Expensive pink. I like to use it to highlight my cheekbones and it looks great. I also like how the color is not too gold, not too bronze, not too pink. Has a great balance of shades that I love.

Great new brick from Bobbi. It really does give me that sun-kissed look, and if I apply heavily, that slightly "burnt" look (in a good way). It looks so-so in the pan (almost muddy), but then transfers onto my skin beautifully and works to enhance my coloring---not dirty looking at all. I love it, but I will not repurchase as I use so little---it'll last me forever. By the way, girls, it looks heavenly over apricot blush.

I was searching for another highlighter, I have the beige shimmerbrick but wanted something a little warmer but not a bronzer. I have NC25 - NC30 skintone. So I looked on BB website and found this, new out this year, and I just knew I had to have it! I ordered straight away and received it this morning. Well, as soon as I swept it on I looked like I'd been on the beach all day, glowy, slightly golden, but more of a warm nude beige colour with slight coral undertones. Beautiful. I then used the darker section of the brick for my blush, which is also very nice. I can't tell you how lovely this brick is, it's not over the top, almost 'irredecent', and I think this would work well with even the palest of skintones as it isn't too bronzy. Highly reccomend girls. Treat yourselves!! xx

This latest addition to Bobbi Brown's line of shimmerbricks is part of the Bobbi's Beach Club Collection, introduced in June '10.
Shade description and comparisons: A good balanced mix of beige, pink, peach and gold. On me Beach is a tad warmer and less pink than Pink Quartz, lighter and more subtle than Bronze, more peachy than the Beige. I am very fair and cool toned (MAC NW15, BB Porcelain) and the Bronze shimmerbrick has always been hard for me to pull off. I find that Beach is the perfect bronze for my light skin, it really makes me look like I just spent a day at the beach! It imparts a very subtle glow, without looking obvious. The shimmer is soft and fine, nothing chunky or frosty, at least not when applied sensibly with a light hand. I use BB's new round head Bronzer Brush or the Face Blender brush with this.
Packaging: Comes in the BB signature black lacquered square compact with a full size mirror, very beautiful. I use these at home only, so I cannot comment on how well these hold up during travel in terms of breakage.
Overall: I really like this and would buy again because it is finally a bronze I can wear.
Price: $38
