I originally hated this lipstick. I thought it looked too frosty and reminded me of that old lady who tans a lot on Theres Something About Mary. But recently, I have been wanting a nude lip that didnt wash me out. I found this color and applied it and I really love it. I am NC42 and this looks perfect. It gives me a shimmer that I love and it really goes with so many looks! My husband even liked it! I recommend this lipstick. I think it is gorgeous!

My favorite lipstick. It's a light orange champagne. It's buildable, though the color is not intense--more subtle really. Application is pretty smooth (keeping it mind it is a bit shimmery) and it pretty much goes with everything and doesn't look loud or non-existent either. From the adored "MAC To The Beach" Summer 2010 collection released in May 2010. In my opinion, this and Mlle. should be permanent.

I find if you dont like nudle lips this is a great alternative to give you a natural look but it still makes your lips look slightly shimmery.

I'm mixed about this lipstick. I wanted it for so long and hunted for it everywhere in my city and had to drive half an hour away from my house just to get my hands on it plus other products from the to the beach collection that weren't available near my house. I think i'm mostly disappointed because i made it out to be this amazing peachy coral lipstick that it just isnt. It's not a bad lipstick colour though, it's just not what i had expected it to be. It really kind of reminds me of archetype because it's just shimmery and doesnt have much colour to it. But i'll find some uses for it cause it's got such cute packaging!

Great summer shade! I adore this lipstick with my NC15 skin. I have medium pigmentation in my lips and this shows up as a sheer, golden peach color that is just beautiful! It's a really unique lipstick, in my opinion. I'm sure it wouldn't suit everyone, so make sure you try it out before buying!

I love this lipstick, it's nice for more pigmented lips and light warm skin tones. Glazes don't often get a lot of love, but I find this colour to be quite unique.

Not much color payoff, if you want the creamy frosty peachy color you see in the tube try NYX Iris instead. Beachbound is def okay for a light makeup day, but it's not pigmented at all, it's just shimmery.

I thought this product was amazing! The packaging is beautiful and the color is amazing. Although there isn't much color payoff I do still really like this color!

Girls, if someone tells you this color won't look good on you if you have olive skin... don't listen! I just bought this a few weeks ago because summer is coming. I am usually careful about wearing these types of colors, but this is fantastic.
The sales girl at the counter told me this color would not match me, but I like it.
It is light and fun and what a good name for it. Beachbound!

This color looks like a muted orange/sherbet in the tube but once applied it's a nice wash of shimmery champange. Exactly what I was looking for. Super soft and does not leave my lips feeling dry afterwards, not that great of pigmentation per se but it is a glaze which is normal. I do have similiar colors since this is my "go to" type of lipstick, but I would def repurchase. I also want to add, the packaging is adorable.

This l/s has essentially no pigmentation. I know, it's a glaze, but I've tried on other MAC glazes that have more pigment than this.
Basically, it's a wash of champagne-y shimmer, with no color payoff. If this is the look you are going for, and you don't like the texture of lipgloss, this is the l/s for you. Otherwise, stay away! Not what I was expecting by MAC's description.

I love this l/s! It's a fantastic color for us pale folks with this summers bronze trends. I find most bronze lip colors to be far to harsh, but because this is a glaze, it works perfecty. It tints the lip with enough golden and peach toned shimmer to alter the lip color but still keep it looking natural. This looks great alone, but I like pairing it with the Lipglass from the same collection, Flurry of Fun. I highly reccommend this shade to anyone with lighter colored skin or hair. I will definitely repurchase this if it is repromoted and I hope to find a backup or two at stores or online.

Luv this lippy! I have medium pigmented lips and this appeared like a sheer golden coral on me,more emphasis on the golden though. I think this is probably close to sunsonic from Style Warriors collection. Although I never owned that one, from pics and swatches they do look quite similar. IMO, it's not really shimmery but it does take on a sheen like appearance. No gritty shimmer either so it comfortable on my lips as well. Very flattering on my medium golden NC30/35/C3/C30 skintone. It's a glaze formula, so don't expect much pigment. This kind reminds me of a very golden lollipop lovin' which is one of my HG's. The formula and wear is quite similar. Not too drying and wears quite nicely. I had to reapply after I ate but I normally do with any lipstick. This is perfect for summer and the orange packaging and seashell design is cute and makes it easy to spot in my quite ample MAC lippy collection. Would definitely repurchase if repromoted since I can see me definitely using this quite frequently.

I like this lipstick because of it's potential. It's a cool toned peach/gold sheer shimmer. My skin is quite pale and my lips are pretty pigmented. Right now this lipstick looks ok on me, but I think it will look great in the hight of summer when I'm more tanned. I can see myself grabbing for this all the time on warm summer days.
Formulation is nice and smooth and the lipstick has de distinct MAC vanilla smell.

Just bought beachbound lipstick today and love the texture! It glides on so smooth like rose salve! I have tanned skin with dark hair and the colour is quite flattering on me. This lipstick goes on very light and neutral leaving a beautiful sunkissed look with peachy gold shimmer. Its perfect for the summer!

i really did not like this at all. WAY too shimmery. Like freakish shimmery IMO. It made my lips look so wrinkly and cakey. A very unflattering color to my NC30 skin. It's too gold. But maybe on someone with warm skin who like shimmer it would look ok...

I think someone who has unpigmented lips would do ok with this lipstick. It's a peach/champagne colored lipstick that, with a glaze finish, is surprisingly not dry. It applied smoothly and felt ultra smooth on my lips, which I liked. The color, however, was pretty awful on me. I have pigmented lips and so this just looked like a champagne/frosty mess. I think those with unpigmented lips would be fine with it, though. I, however, will be returning this one.
