Best colour by far in the cream shadow . Yellow based not pink like painterly by mac . Amazing texture great as a base under powder shadow it makes them crease free and last all day but I like it as a base coulour with mascara it just evens out and brightens my eyelid . One of those products I use everyday without fail

This is a wonderful color. I'm an NC40 and this is a great lid color paired with BB's cream shadow in Stone in the crease. It's also a great brow bone color when you want to look polished but not "done up". Either way, it's a staple product for the classic neutral eye. I would recommend and also I'd repurchase.

It seems like if you want a simple matte cream e/s from BB to brighten the eye area you choose either Shore or Malted (as of the selection of this review). I am NW20 with deep set eyes and genetic dark under eye circles. I much prefer the golden beige of Shore over the pink beige of Malted because the whole reason I wear a base like this is to take all the pink/purple tones out of my eye socket area. If BB would make Nude Beach permanent, I would just use that even though it has a very soft shimmer, it is perfection for me in this area. So Shore may not be fancy, but it is a workhorse. And there isn't one day I don't start off with this on my lid and a couple dots of concealer under my eyes. If I wear actual makeup, I will add to that, but this is how I start my day to wake my face & eyes up.

HG eyeshadow. And I've tried EVERY "long wearing" or waterproof eyeshado out there! This ios a perfect neutral, not pink at all (which can make mature eyes look red). Great alone or as a base for layering color, a great neutral grey/brown for your contouring your crease is Slate. Patrner with Caviar Ink gel liner (a brownish grey)and ladies, you have a matte, neutral, flattering eye that will stay in place until you take it off at night.

HG! I am cheap and this is worth it! Wear it every day. Nice finish, no sparkles, lovely color, wears like iron. I tried a Mac version and had a reaction but not with this.

I love this cream eyeshadow, I got it in a swap and I'm so glad I did. It lasts all day, doesn't crease and it's perfect as a base for other powder eyeshadow as well. It has a great neutral color that make my eyes appear brighter and more awake, I'm a NW20 by the way, so the color is similar to my complexion but more polished. Normally I apply it all over the lid and then apply a dark powder eyeshadow on the outer v.

I bought this based on all the positive reviews here, but this product is a big double-yuck for me. First of all, the formula: it's so dry and completely matte that it really emphasizes the crepey skin of my eyelids. It looks horrible! I didn't even know that skin was crepey but this definitely draws attention to it. Secondly the color is awful on my yellow-undertoned NC20 skin -- it makes me look jaundiced and really unhealthy. It's just way too orange. I much prefer the formula and color of Clinique's longwearing cream eyeshadow in Cashew Later -- I love it! It's not orange in the least and it doesn't make your eyelids look crepey.

I think that the long-wears are a great product in general, and I like Shore to even out the color of my lids which often are a little red. Sometimes I'll layer an actual color on top, sometimes not if I just was to look healthy and natural.

I read the reviews here before placing my latest Bobbi Brown order. Really glad I did! I had to reach a certain $ amount to get some free palettes, so I ordered this cream Eye Shadow in Shore. I was a little concerned because I had tried the cream eye shadows years ago and found they creased almost immediately. This time, though, the Shore eye shadow had a beautiful soft finish - perfect with no other makeup except mascara on my days off, and will be great to use as a base during the week. Makes my eyes look more wide-awake and takes away any darkness from the lid area. Worth the price.

Beautiful neutral matte shadow that evens out reddish-discolored eyelids, lasts all day (even on very oily lids). I use it as a (perfect) base for all my eyeshadows. You won't regret buying it. Btw, I agree with all the 5 star ratings/reviews.

My eyelids are very pigmented and are a lot darker than the rest of my face (so much so that it looks like I'm wearing dark eyeshadow if I leave them in their natural state), and I need products that brighten up the area at the same time as concealing the darkness. Powder shadows are not really any good for this - cream shadows give me the best coverage, and Bobbi Brown cream shadows are the best formula I've found.

Although Shore looks like a neutral cream in the jar, it actually has beige and pink undertones, and on me it looks a bit ashy. Bobbi Brown Sandy Gold cream shadow is warmer than this, but it contains gold shimmer, so it's not completely natural-looking. However, despite the ashiness, Shore still brightens up my eyelids, and it lasts all day on my oily eyelids. It applies more like the shade it is in the jar if you use a brush, although then the coverage gets a little too thick for my liking - I like to apply it lightly with my finger. I'll gladly use it all up, but I don't think I'll repurchase it - I'm hoping that Bobbi will have come out with some more neutral cream shadows by then.

I ADORE this color. It's a great sandy beige, not brown but not ivory either. It creates a soft natural look on the lid, like you have perfect lids. Bone is more ivory, and more of a highlight color. I love wearing Shore alone, or with Bone above it for that "I just wake up looking fabulous and don't need makeup" look. Or, Shore also makes a good base for powder shadows, if you want to add a crease color or colors on top. Would DEFINITELY buy this again. Very versatile and good for an everyday look. This doesn't fade or crease, even in hot weather.

Great product!! The color is perfect for a natural look and it stays put for several hours. Tried the MAC paint pots- terrible!!- they crease and came off after an hour. I have very greasy, red eyelids and Bobbi Brown works for me! Kind of expensive but what are you going to do?? It works which makes it worth the price!!

I'm still on the fence about this color, but I do love the actual product. I'm blonde, blue eyes, NC 30, and this is the exact color of my lids. In that regard it does not do anything except provide an excellent base for other shadows. My disappointment is that it does not brighten my eyelid area at all. As advertised, the formula does last all day and does not crease. I've only used this three times so will update after more use. Sometimes I'm initially underwhelmed by Bobbi's products but then grow to love them in time. EDIT: I returned it after discovering Brulee by Wet N Wild. Why pay $22 for a nice base color when I can pay $1.99. Thanks MUA.

Love this as an all over eye shadow base. I was using Bone for the longest time and since there wasn't a nud-ish shade in the cream shadow line I just stuck with it. Boy am I glad, though, that Bobbi finally decided to release a matte nude shade that blends into my skin perfectly. I always thought Bone was just a bit too white for my tastes, along with Navajo and Glacier which are also used as bases, but Shore is exactly what I have been longing for as it steps out from this crowd.

I agree with all the previous reviews that Shore is neutral, matte, and long lasting -- straight into evening. It is excellent as a shadow base for me, as it completely evens out my skin tone. Unfortunately, I cannot wear it on its own, because after a few hours it oxidizes on my very fair ivory lids. It's so creamy and gorgeous, I will keep it to wear under taupe-based shadows, but in order to wear BB cream shadow on their own (and have no color change), I prefer Cement and Slate. Cement actually provides a better base that I can wear on its own and have that fresh, polished, no-makeup look for days when I don't want to look too "done."

I'm still giving Shore 4 stars for its amazing formulation, ease of use, and the fact that it blows MAC Paint Pots out of the water, which I find drying. I wish the mouth of the jar were a little wider, though. I prefer to use my fingers instead of BB's cream brush because the warmth from my skin helps the product spread more evenly. As designed, when the product is half gone, it's hard to pick up color on my fingertip without it getting under my nails, so I use the Laura Mercier (fibreoptic/skunk) Finishing Eye Brush.

I've been a fan of Bobbi's Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow for a long time. I was so excited when the color Shore came out, and even more excited when I went home and tried it on. The skin around my eyes tends to be pink and this shadow does a great job of covering it up. It's a great color for days when I just want to apply makeup around my eyes. It looks very natural.
