After Fresh Mint, this is my favorite YC scent I've tried. It's hard for me to describe -- sort of lemony, a bit sweetened, with something complex (I guess it's the tea). To compare, Fresh Mint is sharply cleansing while Early Sunrise is gently fresh. (For additional reference, I found Sparkling Lemon to be sickeningly sweet and too sour at the same time, plus artificial like the lemon filling in a jelly donut.)

I have the Large Jar of this and I had it going for 8 hours on the first day burn! Very Perfect huge Wax pool!

I always burn my candles for at least 3 hours and trim the wick before I light it each time. Always have a Yankee Candle
Illuma-Lid !

This is a light fragrance but I actually like that effect with this fragrance. It's a very nice morning scent and daytime fragrance. Also very nice to have when your studying or reading. It's got a Citrus note or two to put you in a energizing and positive mood.

It is light fragrance for a Large Room or for any big room but the fragrance does appear just fine. I left the room many times throughout the day and every time I entered the room the fragrance was noticeable. Even in the same room for an hour or more I could smell it just fine when the air conditioner blew some air through the ceiling vent or turning my ceiling fan on and off to move the fragrance around in the air.

The Lemon is really soft maybe even blended with a little orange or citrus fruit and at one moment I thought I could smell Jasmine Tea and even maybe a herbal tea with a little honey. A light tangerine was noticeable too.

I also have this in the tarts and next time I will melt this tart fragrance And burn my large jar to see what the fragrance is like in a more powerful way. I am curious to buy the Large Tumbler with 2 wicks just to see what it's like. I like this fragrance too much so a 2 wick large candle would just burn way too fast and the wax pool is pretty much just as big as the large jar So most likely just buy a large jar again.

Early Sunrise is described by Yankee as A new day dawns crisp and fresh in this clean lemony citrus scent with hints of ginger and tea.

I like this fragrance alot! I think it would be cool if they could create a Tea fragrance collection in the future. Floral green teas, fruity green teas, citrus green teas, mint green tea maybe even a red tea with vanilla, red tea with fruit. A Black tea with fruit. A white tea with fruit, Herbal tea with fruit... All should have a little honey too! That would be an amazing collection!

The scent falls under the "Fresh" catagory for YC. The scent is described as lemony citrus scent with hints of ginger and tea. I like the fragance of this but I feel it could be a bit stonger for the price i paid for the med size jar.

Early Sunrise is a lovely delicate sweet tea like fragrance I love it so much but unfortunately in my townhouse the smell just got lost, this would be good for small apartments or for people that prefer lighter smelling candles.

I bought Early Sunrise as a votive. It is a fresh, sweet, gentle tea scent reminding me of a cup of tea with honey and lemon. The description says there is ginger in it too, but I'm mostly smelling the sweet tea. It is a very good everyday scent, since it is a rather light scent which can be burnt all day without becoming overpowering. When first lightning the votive I was a bit disappointed since I could hardly detect any scent at all, even after it had been burning for a good hour. It doesn't have the best of throw, and it takes time to fill a room with its scent but it is this that makes it such a good everyday candle especially seeing as I can't burn a candle that fills the whole house with its scent because of my father developing migraines easily from too strong scents. So, a very nice candle as a votive for those of you who want a nice, gentle scent but don't want to disturb your whole household with it (which I find to be a problem with a lot of candles). As for price, not exactly cheap here in Sweden seeing as they are imported but I think worth it since of some reason having nice scents around makes it easier for me to breath (contradictory, I know, but there you have it). As for the packaging...just plastic wrapping so a three. Very basic. I bought a set of three cheap votive candles with clear glass holders for 20 in a local shop. Threw away the awful candles, but the holders are perfect for the votive samplers. And they are nice placed in fire safe arrangements like large glass bowls filled with pebbles or sand.
