First of all, you get a huge pump bottle of this eye serum, 30 ml. Texture wise it's thin, almost watery lotion. A bit thicker than I'd expected from a serum, yet it takes forever to absorb in skin. Hours, and if I used a cream on top of then that would slide off because skin was still wet from the serum. It has a faint herbal scent, from essential oils in it, why they were added I have no idea, but they are irritating for me, cause a slight itching sensation when applied, not enough to turn skin red, but totally unnecessary and counterproductive. I used it for a couple months and then gave up on it. Now, Marie Veronique Organics claim lots of things:
1. Decreases eye puffiness - not in my experience, in fact it made my eyes puffy if I used it PM.
2. Relaxes muscles - not sure, never noticed any relaxation.
3. Reduces wrinkles - this one is quite true, it does plump up skin and temporary hides fine lines. Whether it's due to the wast array of ingredients or the irritation from essential oils - no idea, but the visual effect is there.
4. Lightens dark circles - no change there.
