I used to sell mark. products, so I got this to try when i noticed eye primers flooding the market.. had not yet tried the UDPP, and when i used this, first off, i dont like long term use products that u have to dip your fingers in, its unhygeinic. So that being said, this one worked so so... it wasnt fantastic by any means. Then I got the UD one, and that blew this out the water!! it came in a squeeze tube (trial size i recieved) so i got the industrial size as I really liked that type of pkg for this. so does it compare? no it does not

I don't know what this is, but its not a primer. It doesn't hold anything. It goes on slick and greasy, and stays that way. I can already see it creasing before I'm done putting my eye makeup on. I like the packaging but the product just doesn't work.

I really wanted to like this. The packaging is good and it is easy to apply. Too easy, it's a little oily and doesn't hold nearly as well as UDPP. It might be better than not using a primer, but not by much, especially in the corners. Will not repurchase.

I have oily lids and dark eye circles. I decided to buy this product because 8 bucks seemed like a good deal. my eyeshadow did not crease the whole day. I was surprised. I also use this product on my circles underneath concealer. My concealer use to settle into fine lines, but this product works as a great base. No more settling. Will definitely repurchase.

This does keep my eyeshadow in place but there are better eye shadow primers out there.I just use the case as my mirror since its only useful for that.

I have been using this for over a year now as a concealer and it covers better than any other concealer I have ever used.I have never used it as an eye primer so I don't know if it works well for that. But, as a concealer it works amazingly! The best!

I use this primer everyday. It works quite well though it doesn't stop shadows from creasing after a few hours, it does make eye shadows last longer. The pan measures approx. 36mm and there is a fair product in it. You only need a tiny bit to do the job so this will last a very long time. I also love that there is a mirror included. The mark. description says that this product can also be used as a concealer but I personally think it's way too sheer for that. It's good as an eye primer but I wouldn't try it as anything else. I would probably repurchase as the thin compact is a lot more convenient than those other primers that come in a tube. All in all, it's a good product.

This primer did nothing to keep my eyeshadows in place. I do like the packaging and it went on nicely. The eyeshadows looked nice with the primer and were easy to blend but the staying power of this primer is horrible. My eyeshadow was creased in about an hour of applying it. My e.l.f. eyelid primer is much better and it was only a $1. I definitly won't be wasting my money on this again.

This eye primer reminds me of the MAC prep & prime. That being said, you must use a very small amount, sheerly. You do not want it to look like concealor on the eyes, or it will crease. Apply with a brush for best results.

I've used several eye primers -- from Stila to E.L.F. and really love this product! It's easy to use, not sticky or pasty, and goes on with the perfect "nude" shade to build your shadow and liners on without changing the color of your other eye makeup. It does help my eye makeup to stay -- which is a plus because I have oily skin and live in a humid climate. I don't particularly like digging into the pot to use it, but because I love the actual product so much, it's worth it to me to keep a tissue nearby. I've bought this about 4 times now and plan to keep buying it. In fact, sometimes when I'm in a rush, it's the only thing I put on my eyes (in addition to mascara, of course). I highly recommend this product!

this did NOT help with creasing at all!! i have oily skin so i course i have oily lids and i crease about an hour after application and my eye shadow faded in color and it just didnt look pretty at all! i use to be a mark rep and i know im probably not suppose to say this but it sucked really bad! dont waste your money on this if you have oily lids maybe it would be different on another skin type but either way it sucked! ive used this as and eye concealer as well and that sucked as well! i would never tell my customers to buy this! ELF mineral eye shadow primer worked better than this and was only 3$

I just find that it did nothing for me. After a while I found it was creasing, it made lines and wrinkles appear more and didn't help my eyeshadow last longer.

Yep! This stuff sucks big time! I know I am not in the age group for this particular brand but I needed something that might help with my sweating eyelids lately. ;-) Something to do with my heart issues is what was suggested to me as to why this starting happening. Rather than waste all of my UD primer from this awful symptom, I thought I would give this stuff a try. I have attempted numerous times now to get this stuff to look good but with no luck! I am going to try a wet brush today and try again since I still do not want to waste my favorite one. This stuff is so thick! I have the light/med. one and I still think it changes the color of my shadows! I have used it under my eyes too and it still is no good for my likes. It makes my UD & other best shadows look way too heavy and powdery, and forget about trying to blend anything together. I am very disappointed with the quality of this from Mark. Mark makes many great products but this one needs a lot more work to meet any standard I would call good. Sometimes I think companies just throw out any kind of junk product to try and stay up with other brands that are selling well because they work great. After all, even if only half the buyers send the junk back, they still will make millions off the one's who just don't bother. Shame on you Mark!
I do like the container w/the little mirror just to say something nice here. There seems to be a good amount of product too, but who cares how much bad product is in the thing if it is no good? i gave it a 3 on packaging quality ;-) and a 3 on price because considering how bad it is, I think their price is too high!
Update:
I have discovered that if you use a wet brush and thin this stuff out, it works better. What a pain, but rather than waste something Avon told me to keep, thought I should try something. I got the idea because the UD one is so much thinner. Some of you may have a better solution to use than water and if so, please tell me. Our water has so many chemicals in it, it is probably not good to use that close to my eyes.
I left my rating the same because anything that has to be doctored up to use is not that good of a product and I think Mark needs to vamp this one.

I loved this product. I have fairly oily skin and definitely have problems with creasing. I bought this for $10 and was pleasantly surprised! It holds my eyeshadow nicely , and also works great as an under eye concealer. It does crease after about 6 hours but for $10 I don't mind. I will buy this again for sure.

Bought UDPP and it works excellent but am hunting for cheaper alternative for my gym bag. Enter mark in light/med. It evened out my oily, hooded lids but creased after an hour. Once I cleared that crease, my eyeshadow had no more creasing. My eyeshadows seem to have melted together - no more smoky eyes. Looks good on its own though to brighten the face. Tried it as concealer but my circles are better served by Laura Mercier. Will keep hunting...

I don't like this, but I've definitely had worse.
It crease after just a few hours and left my eyelids feeling really
sticky after that amount of time.
It is a nice color for me as an undereye primer/concealer, which is what I'm going to use it for now.

i bought this because i was running low on my UDPP and thought that this would get me by for a while and was cheaper for me since i'm a rep, well i tried it today and it was AWFUL!!! it feels oily when you put it on and it made my eyeshadow crease, and my eyeshadow doesn't ever crease. the color did not go one true as it does with my UDPP and it faded after a couple of hours. i know it's not fair to compare it to a higher end product but i have also used the Mary Kay eye primer and that one works just as well as the UDPP, i will definiately not buy this again or recommend it. by the way i do not have oily eyelids.

My mum is an Avon rep, and i saw this in the What's New catalog (kind of like a Coming Soon book for Reps ) and i saw this. i ordered it right away, BUT i found that it creased like crazy! I have ridiculously oily lids in the spring and summer, and a little bit into the fall. I think i will pull this out in the winter and try it then, but for now, its at the bottom of my makeup case.
