A great natural yet smokey look in one palette. Not top quality but does the job especially when layered over a cream base and some dark pencil. Good to throw in the bag without the worry of breaking an expensive palette.

Great combination of shades. Pigmentation is not bad. Nice palette for everyday use. I love using the blackish shade for my eyebrows, and I use the highlight and over lid shade everyday. Then the brown for extra definition in the crease for nights out.
Not the smoothest of eyeshadows, but for the price ($3.99) not bad!

This is my first purchase of a NYC product. I usually stick to more expensive brands because I always had a thing about eyeshadow having to be super smooth upon application. But I have been getting sick of paying for those ridiculous prices. I love expensive eyeshadows that feel super smooth and velvety when applying but actually those do not last very long anyway. I wanted to experiment with a cheaper brand and I also wanted a palette that I could use every day without having to reach for other colors.
I picked this up for $4 at Ulta and I love it! It really is great for everyday wear but it also transitions nicely into a evening look. The 4 colors included are all very wearable. The base is a shimmery taupe satin color. The shimmer gets toned down once you add the crease color. The crease color is a subtle shimmery rich brown, the contour is a deep color that's a cross between a soft black and deep brown. The highlighter is a very flattering shimmery peach tone. I love putting this in my inner eye corner or brow bones and it's perfect because it's not stark white, it's soft looking pretty color.
I stick with the base, crease and higherlighter colors for everyday. I have a medium complexion so the crease color is very subtle on me and looks very natural whereas I could see it being a bit more dramatic for a pale toned gal. I use the contour color only for nights out and it creates a smoky look.
Overall, this is a very versatile eyeshadow palette that is surprisingly long wearing and has pretty good pigment. This would be great for traveling, I could take this cute small palette along as my only e/s.
