I love the glitter in this... yes its chunky but it looks amazing with the purple and gold flecks.
I don't wear this gloss on its own because I'm not a fan of glitter during the day, but I do love purple lipstick and dark lipsticks when I am going out, and this gloss over the top of something like violetta by mac, looks really impressive. Use this when you want your purple/dark lipstick to have more of a wow factor.

The superglasses are so much fun. I love how fun they look on any lip look. It is chunky glitter so i wouldn't wear it to the office but it's definitely a fun going out night look. I particularly love fab frenzy because its a gorgeous purple with pink and gold glitter.

A goopy mess.... yuck! I hate these with a passion. The texture is like rubbing honey and Vaseline on your lips... with huge chunks of glitter. Sounds pretty hot doesn't it? The color itself is sheer and mauvey.

A miss by MAC, I will gladly stick to my dazzleglasses!

Many people are so picky about lipglosses when it comes to glitter, or stickiness, but this lipgloss despite the large chunks of glitter is so beautiful and shiny on lips, it makes them look delectable. I do recieve compliments and people always ask what Im wearing when I have this on, so I know it is a product more people would like if they were not so dettered by the glitter in the tube. Fab Frenzy is a sheer purpple with blue reflex glitter in it, it gives any makeup look a mature or nighttime look. The superglasses also have more product them the dazzle or creamsheen glosses and have a more amped up appearence. I hope these stay around, because these are my favorite lipglosses currently!

When I initially saw these advertised in Temptalia's makeup blog, I was hooked.
These remind of the Nfu-Oh Opal Collection flakie nail polishes. Those big flakes of iridescent opal flakies. -GORGEOUS!

I adore purples and have found that I can pull of some shades of purple/violet on my lips. I was a little unsure of this one though due to how dark it appears in most photos. But I felt like being adventurous and grabbed one.
-$18USD at my local MAC counter.
(I've never before spent that much $$ on one single lip product.)

I was surprised and a little disappointed at how sheer this shade turned out to be. I was hoping for a lovely and obvious PURPLE. Instead, this is more of a purple tint with beautiful flakie opal glitter.
-This turns out to have worked in my favor though, since with it being so sheer, it's more wearable for me.

I have worn this with MAC's "Orchidazzle" l/s and surprisingly/disappointingly, didn't see a dramatic change to the shade. There was more purple, but not as I was hoping for. Still pretty though and a must anytime I do a purple lippy in the future.
-I'm thinking of applying MAC's Grape pigment to my lips and putting this over top for a fun "fantasy" look. I bet it would be amazingly gorgeous.:)

These have a very nice brush for an application rather than sponge-tip doe-foot applicator. I love that. Makes for a much nicer and smoother looking application and more glitter on your lips than you'd get with a sponge.

Also, these glosses have a pleasing scent. Vanilla -which seems to be a trademark scent of MAC's lip products. No taste though. Works for me.:)

The glitter seems to be a different shade with each color of gloss. Though it tends to show up on your lips as either a gold-pink shade when the light hits it, and then a lavender-gray when not being hit by direct light. Still pretty, though.

I don't find these new glosses to be overly thick and syrupy as I've read some other reviewers to claim. Not more so than alot of glosses out there. It's certainly not annoying to wear. Does get a little sticky, but alot of lip products do that, not a big deal.

The gloss isn't heavily saturated with the glitter flakes either. If you want lots of glitter you may be having to apply a few coats to your lips. It's pretty with a subtle flash, nothing really dramatic unless you're under strong lighting.
It's a nice effect though.

The gloss isn't particularly long-lasting and once the gloss wears off you're left with the glitter on your lips and it doesn't wipe away easily with just a tissue.
-But if you plan on wearing this lippy all day and will be re-applying, no problem there.

For the darker skinned ladies out there:
I bought one of these as a late B-day gift for an African-American friend of mine, thinking the purple would really show up on her. Unfortunately, on her darker lips it shows up more as a clear gloss with large glitter. We really can't see the purple..not unless you look 'really' closely under strong lighting.:/

I would buy this again since it is really pretty and because of my love of purples.

i popped into mac tonight to show hubby a few things he could pick up for mothers day for me and saw the display and took a closer look at them (drawn to them by the muti colours, like moth to the flame) the MUA asked if i wanted to get one and i said yes on a whim and she offered for me to try it on and i was SOLD then and there my 8 yr old daughter even wanted to try it on, i don't usually do mac glosses because of the prices, $18 for a gloss?, bit much but as soon as i saw it the mirror i knew i had to have it the different coloured specks was a wow factor to me and cant wait to try it out on top of all my different l/s.. my first gloss by mac and I LOVE IT!

This is the kind of gloss you're gonna like or hate. Personally, I think it's just an overall fun kind of gloss with all of it's clunky (but not gritty) glitter pieces. The glitter definitely lingers almost all day - even after I ate & drank after a meal & snacks. I had to use MU remover to get the glitter off my lips. The consistency is much like the Cremesheen dazzleglasses. The color itself is much different from the norm for me (I prefer nudes & pinks). It would go well w/ MAC's Frosti & All's Fair (both L/E lipsticks). It reminds me of Estee Lauder's Midnight or Clinque's Black Honey - looks dark in the tube but goes on as a sheer blue based plum. (For reference, I'm a C3/NC25)
