I love this quad. Most days I like light, natural shades, and so I can use the lighter three shades. When I want a smokey eye I can add in the black, which is an easy black to work with (doesn't flake everywhere). The black also makes a great liner shadow. The compact is slim and cute, and fits in my purse easily. I even like the little wand applicator, because I can get right up to my lash line, when using these as liner shades. I got it on sale for $2.50, score!

Never bought NYC before because I thought it had the crap quality of Wet and Wild. I decided to give it a try, out of curiosity and was quite surprised! These colors are very neutral and go on really nice with a primer. The only thing I hated was the applicator. I didn't have any brush sets on me when I bought this(I was on my lunch break at work) and the found the applicator too small. This was a nice kit for everyday makeup when you don't want to hall around the $$ stuff. I would buy again, but highly recommend an eye primer.

This eyeshadow requires a primer. Without a primer, you will get nothing. The shadows were so sheer when I swatched them on my arm, but once I applied my NYX eyeshadow primer they showed up beautifully. The colors in the pallete are very pretty, especially the dusty rose color. The creme and black are mattes, but they blend like butter. The lighter pink and the dusty rose shadows are shimmers which don't have too much fall out. This is one of my favorite eyeshadow palletes I have.

I bought this eye shadow in the drugstore b/c it was on sale for $1.49. I like mauve shades and the 'crease' shade really appealed to me. I love the crease colour (dusty/smoky rose/mauve colour) and the pigmentation is o.k. for the price. The highlight is an o.k. matte light cream colour but has little pigmentation, and the black is an o.k. matte black that has decent staying power (better that Rimmel, but not as good as Annabelle or NYX matte blacks). I dislike the 'all over lid' colour which is a very light pinkish shade with almost no pigmentation and no staying power. It has shimmer and somewhat chunky glitter that flakes all over the place.
In conclusion, I would repurchase the 'crease' shade (the mauve-ish one) if I could buy it in a single, but I would not repurchase any of the other shades. I will be using all the shades except the light pink 'all over lid' shade. For the money, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Ehh. I was pretty unimpressed with this palette. From online swatches, it looked like it would be a nice neutral palette with taupe tones. However, it's completely different. This palette has a satiny lavender beige as the lid color, a slightly shimmery plummy brown for the crease, a matte black for the contour, and a creamy white for the highlight. The crease and contour shades are decently pigmented, although nothing to write about. The highlight shade is somewhat sheer, but this is okay for me. Unfortunately, the lid shade is very, very non-pigmented and it takes a lot for it to show, even with a base. I wore the colors today. While they looked fine, I just don't prefer plummy e/s. Won't rebuy.
