These low ratings surprise me, but I suppose different heads of hair yield different results and opinions. I have been trying to stick to hair products that are mostly organic. So when there was a 50% off sale on the Organix line at Shopper's, I knew it'd be the perfect opportunity to test some of the products out. I was a little worried the coconut scent would be overwhelming, but it's fine and doesn't linger after rinsing. My hair is soft and manageable after, looks and feels clean! I give this a 4 out of 5 because although it's a good shampoo and does it's job, it doesn't 'blow me away' as some other shampoos have.

this product smells marvelous (if you like coconut), and the price was also right; i got it on sale at Walgreen's. additionally, the flip-top cap was perfect for my hair washing/wet hands needs. however, the shampoo didn't seem to do a thing for my hair, in fact, it appeared to weigh it down. i have fine, thin hair, so have to be careful of heavy products. will not repurchase.

I felt compelled to write a review for this product after seeing so many negative ones!! I'm sorry this shampoo didn't work for so many people!.
I put off buying this for a whole year after reading all the reviews. Finally one day in Ulta I could resist no longer and purchased it along with the Coconut split end mender. It was buy one get one free and I figured if I hated it, I wouldn't be out too much.

I loved it immediately! Of course the smell is amazing, but it also leaves my hair feeling so much thicker and healthier. My hair is color treated and in over all good condition, maybe a teeny bit dry and the ends. This shampoo left my hair feeling very soft and i experienced none of the straw like dryness and tangles that dominate the other reviews. I do follow with a very rich conditioner (Redken Smooth Down) so maybe that is why? I have been using this for a few months now and still love it!!

My advice is to give it a shot if you are tempted to. It may work for you and you may end up loving it as much as I do!! I may be in the minority when it comes to this shampoo but I will DEFINITELY repurchase.

Smells great, but it left my hair feeling dry (even though I used conditioner afterwards). Considering it is marketing as 'Nourishing' I expected my hair to feel softer and more conditioned by this shampoo.

Just out of the shower about an hour ago; had to try this tonight. Couldn't wait until tomorrow! I really adore coconut scented products but recently switched to SLS and paraben free because my scalp was a most unhappy camper. So far, after my hair air drying, I'm pleased. The scent was really lovely. It lathered better than other drug store brand SLS and paraben free brands I've tried (Live Clean, LaCoupe Organyx). I agree that it does a thorough job cleaning. Your hair should NOT be slippery after you have rinsed the shampoo from it! That to me just says the residue on the hair strand is making it slippery. Will update if need be after seeing how my hair weathers a day at work.

I really wanted to love this shampoo after hearing rave reviews about the Coconut line so I ran out & bought the poo & cond. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with the shampoo - my hair felt squeaky clean as if I clarified & I expected more of a soft, slippery feel pre-conditioner but it was nothing like that. My hair is naturally thick & dry & I used it approx 3wks post relaxer so a lil slip was definitely needed. I'll pass this on to my sis & see if it works better for her.
