I used this for the first time today, even though I have had it for a while. I absolutely LOVE it! It blends nicely, and looks great with my brown eyes. In my opinion, it looks high end on me! Great colors to add to your collection if you can get your hands on it!

I am glad I came across this gem a few months ago, especially because it's a limited edition trio.

If you like neutral colors, then Desert Gold is a great set. It has three colors - a matte yellowish/peachy color, a dark khaki-brown color (neutral-tone) with subtle shimmer and a metallic taupe color. The brown eyeshadow does not have any red undertones.

Blendable and pigmented, this is a great drugstore find!

This trio is from the Maybelline summer collection and LE but dont worry. If you want it again, it's exactly like three of the colors in the Revlon Colorstay quad in Neutral Khaki - a matte yellow beige, a metallic lightish green, and a matte brown. This was the first time I ever tried a Maybelline e/s and I keep hearing that they have improved their formula but this wasn't even as pigmented as the Revlon e/s and people complain about the lack of pigment in THOSE. Obviously, they didnt have the Maybelline to compare.

I'm going to keep this palette in my parents' home so that I dont have to carry e/s when I am visiting. The shadows are soft enough but not as pigmented as the Revlon and neither are as pigmented as Wet n' Wild for drugstore e/s.

This is a limited edition eyeshadow trio. The colors are a creamy yellow matte highlight, a shimmery golden green lid, and a lightly shimmery dark olive crease color.

These colors are nothing new, I'm sure most people have dupes for all three in their collection already. However, the quality of the shadows is very nice. They are smooth, well pigmented and very blendable.

These colors are great for creating a subtle neutral eye look with a slight twist (some green undertones).

If this product was a standard trio, I don't think I'd repurchase it.

I have more eyeshadows than I will ever use in this life, but still I buy. The colors in this trio were awesome...there is a taupe/goldish shimmer lid color (very similar to MAC's tempting), a matte darkish milk chocolate crease color, and a highlighter color that is a very light yellow/peachy pink color, that's not exactly a shimmer, but does do some highlighing, For a drugstore brand, these colors are well matched, go on smoothly, blend nicely and last (with primer) long enough to do the job. I probably have dupes of all these colors among my stash, but it's nice to have them here in one compact, This would be nice for travel or if you are on a budget. I will admit I'm a bit of a snob, and rarely buy drugstore brands, but some of the new stuff out there is great. The colors in this trio all tend towards a neutral eye, although heavier use of the darker brown can smoke them out. This is a limited edition, so go look if you can,
