I wasn't expecting much when I got this. I was in Rite Aid and just grabbed this on a whim without checking here first.
I'm surprised at how much color this cheap little thing packs on. It's great...does better than some of my more expensive shadow brushes. I've only had it a few days, but so far it's worked great on both my lids and my crease. I think I might go get a backup in a few days.

This is a new eye shadow brush I believe. It is similar to Stila 26, slightly more narrow. It's a flat tapered small e/s brush, very soft with a short black handle. Ret. $4! Definitely worth it, i got lucky and bought it during a 2 for 1 jane sale. I also picked up the jane eye contour brush, which is not as soft, but is an alright brush.

I have the #19 shadow brush, and I am constantly looking to upgrade it to a "better quality" brush, but so far, no dice! I have had this thing for years, and I keep using it, having been unsuccessfuly in finding a worthy replacement! The bristles are really soft and have "give", so I generally use as an all-over lid brush to give it a wash of color. Other makers like MAC sell brushes that are supposed to do the same job, but I find them a tad too stiff, or too big, or too round. I like that this brush is somewhat small and flat. I've had this thing for years and it does look a bit worse for wear, but hey, until another manufacturer comes up with something that can possibly come close to replacing it, it'll continue to be a worthy staple in my brush arsenal. Would definitely re-buy if I needed to.

awful brush! cheap, doesn't pick up shadow nor apply evenly, and sheds. i have to pick bristles from my eyes. a no go, that's for sure :(
EDIT:
i guess i really do like this brush after all, i just had to learn how to use brushes. it doesn't shed anymore, and it's pretty soft. i'd probably buy sonia kashuk ones instead, but it's not too bad..

I bought a set of these a couple weeks ago and I absolutely adore them, so I had to buy another set. They are the best eyeshadow brushes that I've found.
