So I guess this has been reformulated, because when I put this on it doesn't look anything like the swatches online. Online it looked so beautiful over a variety of nail polish- when I apply it, it's not thin, flaky, or beautiful at all. It's a disgusting whitish opaque mess. I will be returning this. So disappointing.

I also made the mistake of buying the new version of this polish. I wanted the one with the flaky look, and this new version is not it. I will not repurchase. This is nothing special without the previous formula.

Beautiful flakey top coat! If I did not love Essie Shine of the Times more I would definitely rebuy.

There's a new 2012 version of this! I was unaware of this and bought the first bottle I saw, because I thought it was the coveted, beautiful "flakie" polish. It isn't. They just reused the name.
Don't get me wrong; It's a nice polish. It's a very, very sheer purply-pink with a light green and purple shimmer to it. It's pretty over pale pinks, but that's about it. I'll add pictures of it over L'Oreal's "How Romantic."
I marked that I wouldn't buy it again because it's not anything spectacular. It's nice, but not worth the money, and frankly, I'm rather miffed that they re-used the name. It's not a big deal or anything, but it does lead to a bit of a disappointment.

I love this! I was lucky enough to stumble upon a full bottle of this polish in the clearance bin of a SDM! I remembered reading about this highly coveted polish, and even though at that time I wasn't into nail polish, decided to grab it anyway since it was on sale.
I was definitely not used to the glitter/flakie-style polish, so at first I hated it. After using it on many different polishes, I grew to love it! I usually have my nails as one solid colour, after a day or two I get bored of the colour and slap this on top of what I have on. Hidden treasure adds such a different element to my nails and makes it soo pretty!
I paid around $4 for it, so I'm extremely happy with the price and quality. Even for $10 I don't mind, since one bottle is going to last me a really long time! I'd definitely recommend it.

I was so surprised that I did not like this. The reviews for this are glowing. I however really did not enjoy this. I tried it several ways. I tried it over a bright polish, over a pale polish and on its own. I did not like it in any of the ways. I found while it is beautiful in the bottle I did not like it at all once applied. To be honest I am not sure what it is that made me not like it. I like the glitter so I figured I would like this. I would give this a try again maybe when I am not so fair skin and have more of a tan.

I couldn't find this in stores, so I got in on craigslist for $8 Kinda more than I like to pay for nail polish but Its so worth it because I love this polish! I like it best over black, it makes a red/orange/yellow/bit of green fire and over Opening Night by OPI (a dark blue) it makes a gorgeous rainbow!

I'm a nail polish muggle, usually opting for neutral creme tips and vampy toes. However when I saw this at Walmart in the midst of the nail board frenzy, I picked it up just because I didn't want to NOT have it. It's not as ostentatious as straight up glitter but it adds just enough fun to a polish. I like it over dark reds especially.

I have three bottles of this.. which one I had bought last year when it had just came out and surprisingly I had found two bottles today at my local walgreens.. which I think was just luck because I'm thinking my walgreens had probably forgotten stock about this polish because it was a LE shade. The lovely SA at the walgreens also had 2$ of coupons for me so each bottle was about 4$ which was a plus. I was sad when I couldn't find a second bottle of this last year as my back up so I had only used this when I absolutely wanted to as I didn't want to run through it too fast.. but now that I have 3 bottles of this I can use as I please.
I think this is a super gorgeous flakey glitter polish that turns any nail polish color you have into flakey gorgeousness. Seriously.. haha I am absolutely in love with this polish and love the effect it has on my polishes.. (=

Meh. Not worth the hype (or the price tag) at all. Several companies make polishes that are similar or better, so I don't understand what all the hype was for anyway. The newer SH Salon polishes are way overpriced, but I think the brush is fantastic. Otherwise, there's nothing special about this polish and I am really shocked the reviews seem so positive.

I love this color! When I get bored with a color I just add this to the top and it makes them look so awesome! I love the flaky look and makes any color interesting and just nice to look at! I've been on the look out for this color and couldn't ever find it and I was not going to pay the 30 bucks ebayers were selling it for! I am so thankful for a friend who happened to stumble upon it and got it for me! If you can get your hands on it I highly suggest you buy it!

Picked this up on a whim after reading raves about it on Lacquerized and a couple other blogs - what a great call!
Hidden Treasure has irridescent flakes that reflect green, yellow and red hues. I used it over OPI Funkey Dunkey (the dark purple from the Shrek collection), GOSH Nero (black), GOSH Gold, and American Apparel Mount Royal and it looks awesome on all of them. Definitely looks better on darker nails but still nice over gold. Really helps extend the wear of my polish, too, as I used it in place of a topcoat.
I know people hate on the brush in this line, but I really like it so I have no complaints there.
The only thing I don't like is that the flakes can get caught in the brush, so sometimes it goes on a little unevenly. That's just the nature of flake polishes, though. This is a great buy and if you see one floating around you should definitely grab it.

I'd given up on finding this when I found it all by itself. I used it that same day over opi nevermore and thought wow. overall i think it's a little bit pricey for a ds , and the brush is hit or miss . sometimes i love the brush other times not so much. i had a hard time getting it open the first time and am just not sure i'm loving the bottle shape

I only recently found this polish after months of searching, and to be honest I think it was the search and the popularity which made me want to get it (Im sure Im not the only one!). Finding it was quite exciting but to be honest I wasnt completely blown away by it once I tried it. Before I could find this I ordered Nfu Oh 49 to satisfy my flakie craving and while it was pretty, I was a bit disappointed that all you really see is orangey pink flakes in most lighting - and if you're lucky to tilt it at just the right angle you get a bit of green. After all the reviews praising HT I expected it to be a rainbow effect but nope, its pretty much identical to the Nfu Oh that I already bought. Ultimately, I think flakies are incredibly pretty, stunning over black and spice up any other color and I would suggest any nail lover have at least one flakie - but get whichever one is cheapest and easiest to find because no particular one is more unique than the others.

I have been looking for HT ever since I saw the pictures from google image search (well, since 2 weeks ago?). Found it while I was hunting for it on my Birthday! I screamed when I saw it, not believing my eyes! Bought what is available on the shelf (2 of them). Later that day, I did some grocery shopping and saw 2 of them again (and yes, I bought all of them too)!!! I could not believe my luck! It is like my luckiest birthday ever!! I am so happy!!
I apply it over the Lagoon from the same line. It is sooo pweeetty. I love it! Can't wait to try it on other's color. P.S. The color is very lasting, it has been three days and no chipping and looks like new still. I will highly recommend this line!

As soon as I saw swatches of this, I knew I had to have it. After a 2-month long search, I finally found a lone bottle at Shoppers and squealed with excitement and bought it immediately. Of course now I have it I see it everywhere...But anyways. It makes every polish in the world look awesome. Seriously. It looks like glowing embers over black, makes green look like some sort of ancient Asian jade artwork, and just...I can't describe the amazing. Just buy it.

I've been wanting this for as long as I've heard about it, and had given up on finding it, but today I stopped by a Walgreens a little further from where I live and lo and behold, it was there! I was so surprised and grabbed it right away.
It was a little expensive relative to what I usually like to pay for nail polishes but I couldn't pass this up.
I tried it on as soon as I got in the car and I'm in love! It's exactly what I hoped it would be. It gives an amazing irridescent glow to my nails and I can see myself running out of this! (which is really hard for me regarding nail polishes)
I just want to put this on top of everything! I'm sooo happy I found it and really hope something similar comes out by the time I'm out. I know there's the Nubar one, but I'm hoping for something more accessible as I hate paying for shipping.
