This just doesn't blend well on me and looks patchy. I also have a hard time getting the right amount and not looking like I have too much blush on. This does have good staying power though.

I really like the HD blush line. This color is very pretty for C4/NC40 skin tone too. It's the one blush that didn't react negatively to my skin when it was going haywire some time back. Most of the powder blushes I was using then gave me rashes and was making my cheeks itch. It took some time and research to finally learn how this best works as a blush for me. I apply with my ring finger and tap/blend around my cheek area. Then I either use the MUFE translucent powder or use a little of MAC's Warm Soul blush to set with a kabuki brush. It gives my cheeks a nice, natural looking flush. I really don't mind the push down mechanism to get the product out. Very hygenic imo. I only need a tiny bit. Can last me a whole year. I've repurchased this many times but I think I'm done with the pink shades. I would really like to try the other colors when I can. One gripe about this product is that it can tend to look flat. Must admit this hasn't been getting much love from me lately. I've been using MAC's Warm Soul exclusively.

Great blush!
After primer and foundation, my skin is a pale, blank canvas. This blush brings natural-looking color back to my face. My cheeks but better.
The formula itself is SUPER pigmented -- one full pump is too much for both of my cheeks -- but it's easy to blend. Fingers work fine, but I prefer a stippling brush for control. It dries pretty quickly into a natural-looking finish (no pooling in pores), and lasts a full work day withOUT setting powder.
The color is a very "natural", neutral shade of pink, and I would venture to guess that it'd flatter both cool and warm skintones (on those on the lighter side of the spectrum anyway -- though the color is buildable, I can't vouch for how it'd look on deeper complexions).
Bottom line: when I'm out of ideas (or time), this is my go-to color because it's such a classic shade in a fantastic formula.

my first choice to buy was actually cremblend by mac but since it was limited edition, i was too late, so i went for my 2nd option which was this. i asked the girl which color would be the best for me and i asked pink but not tooooooo pinkish that it looks fake. so she gave me #5 which is supposed to be called warm pink (on the website) i think. from the bottle it looks really light and ive got a somewhat tanned skin so i thought it wont work, but when i put it on it looks beautiful n natural :)
so more on the good side is that the since i put a studio fix powder foundation over it, the color that was too pink is neutralized more. so if the pink looks too fake, i can just put more power :P and so far no breakouts, acnes or any whiteheads which im very happy about.
although the thing that just cant get me fall in love completely is the packaging.... you only need a pinch and your cheeks will have a glowy flush but the pump gives out MORE than you need, so i need to be very careful when pumping it out. for something that you dont need to take out from the bottle, the price is actually VERY worth it, its just the pump...

I'm loving this blush! I received a generous sample from Sephora and I can't wait to go buy the full size! The staying power is outstanding. Color payoff is great-gives me the perfect flush look. Price is a bit steep, BUT, considering I only need the tiniest amount, it's well worth it. 03/01/13 UPDATE: I HATE the packaging! It dries up overnight so I have to pump enough out to get past the dry/crusty blush (big WASTE) to get to the smooth stuff....you know what I mean. MUFE! pot it or put it in a squeeze tube!

I have such mixed feelings about this product!
The colors are great, the pigmentation and staying powder is like no other but I think mine dried out. And if it did, it was a bit too soon.
I see swatches and tutorials and they all look creamy and mine doesnt. Which makes it tricky and hard to apply. However I just like so much I will try to get a new one.
I atually dont hate the pump but it does take some getting used to.

Great blush, once you learn how to use it! Like a lot of people I used a big glob the first time and it was less than sexy. The amount that I use now is about the size of a grain of rice (really). It gives me a great healthy glow, very natural. The color is a great match for my very fair, neutral skin. It looks like I just came in from the cold, in that fresh rosy-cheeked way.
The finish is smooth and matte, no sparkle or shimmer whatsoever. Blends well with fingers over liquid, cream, or powder foundation. I use my fingers, because since I use such a tiny amount I would waste a lot of product using a brush. I just apply a rice-grain amount using a tiny amount of pressure on the pump, smear it in war-paint stripes on my cheeks, and blend. Takes 2 seconds and it lasts ALL DAY.
This formula wears better than any other blush I've tried. Highly recommend. I think the container will last at least a year of daily use. I just wish that it was easier to get the pump to dispense the tiny amount you need.

These blushes are amazing. I decided to try since I am so sick of powder blushes sitting in my pores and fading away when my skin gets oily, I have tried cheek tints, don't like them, they don't last on my skin. I have tried other cream blushes, didn't like most of them because they have no staying power, MUFE HD blush is by far the best cream blush I have used. The color stays put all day, and is very buildable depending on the amount of color you want. I use half a pump for each cheek. I like to use my fingers. I find using a brush wastes too much product.
I have fair skin and I purchased 2 shades. Nip slip is just a basic neutral pink. Suits my skin tone well. Quickie is also pink, but a has a bit more of a coral tone on the skin. Both are similar on my face. I use quickie for a more natural look, and nip slip when I really want that "blushed" look.
The best thing about this blush is it does NOT sit in your pores!!! It blends so well into the skin, and looks natural, or colorful, depending on how much you apply. It is very versatile. This will last on your cheeks all day long, even without a setting powder.

When I first tried this product, I didn't like it. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. I do find that if you have skin that is extremely dry, this isn't necessarily the right product for you. I have skin that is very dry (especially around the forehead and I do have some dry patches on my cheeks) and I find that the blush doesn't look good when applied over the dry spots. What I do is I make sure I moisturise my face very well and then apply a foundation primer prior to applying this blush and the effect is lovely. I don't find this blush hard to blend or overly pigmented if used correctly. The product comes in a cute dinky bottle with a pump.I understand the problem that everyone is going through with the pump but so far i haven't had that problem. What I do is I push the pump about 1/3 way several times to get a tiny bit of the product. One full pump will be way too much for your cheeks (you might be able to cover your entire face with that!). I do find that with this product you have to work it very quickly into the skin because it dries to a semi matte powdery finish. This product works best with a light dusting of the HD powder on top of it. The silica powder works to diffuse the color of the blush making it look very seamless and just makes the blush look as if its glowing from within. The color for this is a lovely medium neutral pink that looks very girly but natural on the skin. I have this and #14 and im looking forward to trying out more colors! My only gripe is the price! MUFE is quite overpriced here in my country and I paid 40 usd for it as opposed to 25usd at Sephora! :(

OMG, where should I start from?
When I first swatched one of the HD blushes in the Sephora store I got really scared because of the crazy pigmentation. I pressed the pump and got an insane amount of product that made my entire hand completely bright pink. Not liked it.
Then I found the reviews here being enthusiastic and started thinking about buying it. I waited a few months because of the -to say the least- steep price. €28 for a blush IS nuts.
Today I finally gave in and purchased it. I chose Nip Slip because of the raving reviews, after hesitating between this and Quickie. I applied it with my Laura Mercier Cream Blush Brush.
You DO have to be very careful when pressing the pump. If you press it all the way down you will end up wasting 80% of the product. Instead, try to give the smallest pressure and you should have something like half the size of a rice bean - even less if you're looking for a sheer wash of colour.
Let me tell you the result IS amazing. If blended properly, this blush gives your cheeks a naturally flushed look without EVER looking cakey/fake/gross. You can also work a bolder look by using more product and keeping eyes&lips fairly neutral. What makes this product really special if compared to other blushes is that it REALLY has the "microfinish" that you find in HD makeup! It creates a beautiful soft focus effect that I have never seen in any other blush! It looks gorgeous when layered over my MAC Face and Body foundation in N1. I haven't tried the finger application, but I guess it would be best with a brush. The colour is amazing too. On me it looks like a neutral pink with a teenie tiny hint of coral. Very healthy looking.
It does cost a lot of money but, as other reviewers have already said, I think it should also last for ages. Overall, it's a great investment!

This blush is amazing. I have tried nars multiple and NYC cream blushes but this is by far the best. It lasts all day, it looks beautifully natural, and if you over due it you can just go over it with a kabuki brush to buff it out. Will be buying more soon. Oh yeah I bought this with my 20% coupon. :):)

I really love this blush. Warning: it is super pigmented so a tiny bit goes a very long way.... the pump on the bottle overdoes the amount of product it dispenses. I apply it two ways:
1) via Lisa Eldridge's advice: apply 1 pump to back of hand, use a small stippling brush to dab product and then apply on moisturized skin or over foundation. Blend well. Gradually add more color as desired.
2) apply tiny *TINY* bit on apples of cheeks with fingers, blend, and blend/buff with a sponge after.
I think that it dries/sets rather quickly. Nip slip is a medium pink and is perfect on my NC25 skin -- I feel like it will last me a VERY long time... I almost wish I had just gotten a free sample. I would consider purchasing in another shade b/c of how much I like the consistency.

This is hands down my FAVORITE product right now. :) I must admit that I had never used anything other than powder blushes before this. . . but now I know what I was missing!!! I always assumed that blush in general naturally fades after 3 or 4 hours, but this stuff has lasted over 8 hrs for me! Also, this is a matte finish and with this particular color, it looks more like a glow from within than blush. Some people have commented on the pump, but I haven't had any problems whatsoever with mine. I just press down ever so slightly and take a TINY bit and put 5 dots of it on my cheek starting with the apple of my cheek going upwards toward my temple. I then use my ring finger to make little circular motions right over where I placed the blush, and it gives this AMAZING soft focus glow from within. . . like you just walked up several flights of stairs, except without breaking a sweat or any heavy breathing. :) It is expensive, but since you need the tiniest amount, I can see this lasting me at LEAST a year. I hope it doesn't last too long, bc I need an excuse to try other colors! ;-) Just give this a chance. You can always return it if you don't like it!!!

This is an AWESOME blush. It goes on very creamy but doesn't feel greasy like a lot of cream blushes, the color payoff is great and buildable, and best of all it STAYS. This color is a very pretty peachy pink that looks very natural when applied sparingly. Unfortunately the way the dispenser works you get way too much product with one pump so I haven't quite figured out how much is the perfect amount for a natural blushing look. But I'm getting there and just the way this stuff stays gorgeous all day is enough to merit 5 lippies..!

I like the product, but not the colour. I use HD foundation in 117, and I find this colour makes me look clownish. It is a rather bright pink.If you're after noticeable blush then this colour is yours. It doesnt look as natural as I hoped it would be. WIll stick to #8 which suits me a lot more.

I was a little worried when I first purchased this due to the intense pigment in the product but I should not have worried. After a few 'trial' runs I love this product. The art of this is using a very very small amount and patting it on with your index finger. It is very easy to 'over' apply this blush so it can take a few practice runs initially. But once you have the art of applying the color and texture is truly amazing. This looks very natural so if you like your blush to be more dramatic then this will not be for you.
Update: 11.16.2010 I ended up swapping this blush as I found it very difficult to blend. I much prefer a powder blush which I feel gives a much more natural look.

A cream blush that comes in a small pump dispenser...and by small I mean about the height of a MAC lipstick. Fortunately, only a tiny bit is needed as it is so rich in color and highly pigmented...but with the pump dispenser it's a bit difficult to control the amount that comes out. The consistency is more of a thick liquid than a cream blush. The color is a beautiful warm true pink that would work well on a variety of skin tones because it can either be sheered out or layered for a more intense pop of color. This color would work on many different complexions. It is very long-lasting and very natural...it does not sit on top of cheeks, but rather looks like the color is coming from within. Overall, I am very impressed and plan on buying more colors.
