I received this shade in a swap as an extra and I'm glad I did because I purchased this shade about 3 and a half years ago and wasn't impressed. They must have re-formulated it because now it's much creamier, has shimmer, and is more sheer. Before it was opaque milky matte barbie pink, which is VERY unflattering on 99% of people! But, I'm a junkie for baby pink lip and cheek colors so I've been on the hunt for perfect baby pink shades for YEARS. Low and behold, SN's Bloom is actually pretty close---the new version, that is! This version is a soft, sheer, cool toned baby pink with golden shimmer to give it enough warmth to diffuse the milky-ness of the shade. A previous reviewer mentions that hers stained her lips purple? I would contact the owner, Karen, about that issue because that sounds like a bad batch of lip product because honestly, I've been using SN lippies for years and I've never had any stain my lips. My lips are naturally very pale pink, so if it was going to happen to anyone, it would happen to me. In fact, I don't see any purple in Bloom at all. It's straight up girly, baby pink.
Give it a try! You can always layer it over a lip stain to tone down a darker shade. Play around. These lip glosses are so moisturizing, smell so nice, and just feel lovely on.

This is a nice lippie. Its a very sheer pink color. I love the texture and shine that SN lippies provide and this one doesnt dissapoint. Its just a tiny bit too cool toned for me. Otherwise, I have loved every SN lippie that I've tried so far.

After having bought 7 different lip colors from Silk Naturals and only *really* liking one of them and finding a couple others to be merely decent, I've come to the sad realization that their lippies just aren't for me. The only one I really love is Foreplay. The others, though claimed to be "nude" and "light" are much darker and deeper than even my natural lip color, which is already very pigmented.
Now onto Bloom... I opened it up and thought, "Finally! A light, Spring-y lip color!" It swatched a beautiful lightish baby pink shade and I was so excited to put it on. Alas, when I did it turned into this purple/pink shade (the purple became more and more bright the longer I wore it) that's just too cool for me right now as I have a light tan and am rather warm toned. It was almost a dupe for MAC's Angel lipstick, but a bit more purple. Still, I thought it was a pretty color at least and figured I'd put it aside for when it would suit me better. Unfortunately, I realized that it was actually *staining* my lips purple. I would wipe it off, and it looked like it was still on my lips. CoverGirl lip products have always done that to me, too. I'd noticed that a few of the other shades stained my lips a little, but it was more of a berry color; not purple. Needless to say, I'm not overly thrilled with that. Hopefully it fades soon but for now I'm having to apply MAC's Myth lipstick, and then apply something over it to obtain a normal lip color. I don't think I'll be trying anymore lip products from SN (though I will repurchase Foreplay, which for some reason doesn't stain). It's sad - they excel at so many things... It's a shame they don't have any pale colors, or more light ones. And I wish they didn't stain my lips. :(
