A good, reliable lipstick is so hard to find! This has a nice colour (gingersnap), it's long lasting and keeps my lips soft. However, it looks a bit too dry on my lips. I guess i'm stuck with my ordinary lipstick (Clinique Different lipstick in Tenderheart) which is perfect in so many ways, but slightly boring colourwise.

I loved this lipstick. I have a tendency to develop rashes from lipsticks, especially red-based colors. I got this lipstick in the "Wearable berry" kit and loved it, though I wasn't a huge fan of the lipgloss that came with it. It was ok, but there are better glosses out there.
Any way, this stuff left my lips feeling very soft and moisturized after use and I felt like I didn't even need to use chapstick any more, and I live in an area with brutal winters.
The only thing that I didn't like was that the lipstick broke halfway through use. This has never happened to me before and it's not like I apply it aggresively. It just snapped in half. Any way, other than that, I will definitely buy BE lipsticks again.

I have three lipsticks from BE - truffle, amaretto and chocolate souffle. The truffle and amaretto are gorgeous, natural colors. The souffle is a little too dark (and not in a good way) for me, but that's my fault. Unfortunately, this lipstick is very dry and crumbly and not as moisturizing as I thought they would be. I definately need to use gloss under it or on top of it.

I've had trouble with severe chapped lips for years. I recently read that my lips could be reacting to ingredients found in regular lipstick. The article recommended trying natural lipstick. I tried this lipstick and no more chapped lips!!! So I love it. It's not the most moisturizing lipstick and feels a little dry going on so you might want to use a good chapstick or lipgloss with it (i use burts bees chapstick). I bought bare escentuals lip gloss and I love it. It pairs well with this lipstick. This lipstick lasts a LONG time too. It's not perfect, but if you're looking for a natural lipstick with good color, consider this one.

Very dry and waaaay too matte. Just feels like cardboard on my lips! I have it in Gingersnap... the color is nice but not at all natural looking, just a thick dry paste.

This product is very dry and difficult to put on. Not comfortable to wear at all.

I have 3 BE l/s. While I really like the colors, I HATE how DRY the l/s are. I have to use mine with chapstick to wear it. I feel like I just smeared mud on my lips. It doesn't taste bad but feels cakey. I wish they would reformulate to make it more moisturizing.

I bought this lipstick in Parfait. It's a great color for me, but the formula is very dry. It doesn't apply very smoothly. It wasn't very long lasting and made my lips feel very chapped in a short period of time - 4 hrs.

I purchased this lipstick in "Cat's Meow". While the color looked pretty in the tube, it seemed very dry and went on kind of choppy. It also did not seem to last very well and faded all by itself within about a half hour even though I had not eaten or drunk anything. Frankly, I have had cheaper lippies last longer. This one was a disappointment.

There is no more loyal BE fan than me, but even I have to admit they dont do lip products very well. Minerals ar thier forte. Lipsticks are not. The colors are very enticing, but these lipsticks are very drying and dont have any staying power at all. I was very disappointed when I tried them, but I look to other companies for lip products anyway. This is one area that BE should just discontinue.

I am a big fan of these lipsticks. I love the easy to wear colors and have about 6 of them, my favorite being yumi. I always line my lips first (WW 666) and then put one of these on and it will last most of the day. They are creamy and richly pigmented and smell/taste slightly peppery to me. They never bleed or slip and the colors stay true for hours. I love the feel of them and do not find them to be drying but instead more protective. I will purchase again and again.

The colors are nice but unfortunately, they left my lips chapped after using them for only a few days.
I might try and using them over my fav lipbalm.

Augh, this product stinks!! Literally! Bare Escentuals does offer some gorgeous shades, that are really nice and creamy and long lasting, but the smell is just headache inducing!! Just taking 1 whiff of these, I get a migraine. So, I will be sticking to my MAC lipsticks.

I'm undecided on the BE lipsticks. I have extremely sensitive lips and have had no problems with drying while using BE lipstick (I purchased "Wearable Rose"). But the color does not stay on very long. Jane Iredales lipsticks last much longer! I do like that there is no scent (Jane Iredales has a scent I'm not too thrilled with). For those of us with really sensitive lips there are few choices so unless I find something better - I'll probably re-purchase.

I love all of the BE line and have used BE exclusively for years, but I hate their lipsticks and glosses. They consistently leave my lips chapped after only a day or two of use, and they have virtually no staying power. The color selections are limited, too. I love everything else BE, but I'll stick with Mary Kay lippies.

Nice color, zero staying power. I've never had a lip color come off as fast as this did. Matter of fact, this morning I thought I was reaching for my BE lipstick but grabbed a Mary Kay lipstick instead. Before I realized my mistake, I was thinking how nicely it was going on and how rich it felt and looked. So I guess the take-away message here is Mary Kay lipstick good, Bare Escentuals, not so much.

Love a few BE lippies I have (Katelynn, Yummy, Nude, Petal, Pecan, and Remember). Very creamy lipsticks, have no scent (I sniffed at them as hard as I could but didn't detect any noticeable scent; wish it would have a pure vanilla fragrance :)). Best applied with a lip brush.
The most favorite one is Katelynn (on my lips appears pinky/rosy-reddish, a bit brownish and a bit bluish, what a fab description, sorry 8), it looks light mauve in the tube) - somehow I look so nice in it! And it's not bright or screamy at all, just a perfect and unusual shade. Will start switching to similar mauvey and bluish colors now, never thought I'd look good in cool shades. I used to prefer chocolaty and caramel colors before.
Yummy (pinky-brownish with shimmer) is a very nice and shimmery nude, super-puper, but is so creamy and soft that broke off in the tube - I had to transfer it into a palette.
Nude (a lighter version of Yummy with no shimmer) is a perfect nude color, nearly unnoticeable on my lips without a lip liner around it but adds moisture and a beautiful subtle shine.
Pecan (reddish-brownish) is amazing for a warm, professional look.

Love BE lipsticks (dislike other BE products). Very nice colors, including some wonderful sheer colors, that are smooth and stay fairly well.
I'm only giving them 4 stars because the shopgirls at the BE store were so surly.

I have been using BE for 5 years and have had a love hate relationship with the lipsticks. I enjoy how they stay on, and the way my lips feel after applying ( I assume that's the moisturizing effect), but what I don't like is the smell. The rose gerranium oil in them have a distinctive odor either you like or you don't. I would also like to see an SPF 15 in all of the lipsticks. I live in Florida so this is important to me. One thing however, included in the new Daydreamer Collections was a lipstick called Remember. The formulation was changed and the rose gerranium oil removed. I don't kmow if that will be done with all of the lipsticks moving forward.
