I too am a sucker for purple liners and purple e/s (even though in real life I dont get to use them much...) so bought this on an impluse

This might be one of the exceptions...It's a nice deep plum color with gold shimmer that is not OTT. Something one could feel comfortable wearing to work and/or not look like they are trying to be a teenager (if they are not :) )

Looks really nice with trax IMO.

Nice consistency, good staying power.

I have permaplum from MAC's powerpoint line (think graphology in a liner) and I love it but it's so much harder to apply and tugs on the skin...would be nice if they could do matte e/l in a pearlglide formula...

This is a lovely aubergine color with golden glitter. Wears nicely but doesn't stay as long as MAC's regular kohls on me. Makes for a nice change with neutral make up.
If I'd ever run out of it, I'd repurchase.

Go to liner. Wish Mac made Pearlglides staples in their main range. Super texture and coverage.Deep aubergine shade flecked with gold particles. Works a dream over black liquid eyelines or layered over khol liners for lift and impact. Really opens green / hazel eyes and wear well - on top and lower lines. LE item but will try Prunella to see how this compares.

This is a deep plum with silver shimmer. Goes on easily yet lasts all day. Wish it was more purple, but it's still nice.

WOW! I love this color. I really really do. It's gorgeous. Blackened purple with gold glitter. Truly beautiful. I think it's limited. I need to go back and buy a backup. Staying power is good. I would definitely re-purchase

Super fabulous.
This is a deep plummy wine shade with mega sparkles, goes on smoothly and does not budge! I have found that transfers off on my eyelash curler but that is easily remedied by applying after mascara. I ordered this at the last minute, thinking that Designer Purple would be enough for me, and I am SO glad I got this. It is beautiful! Looks fabulous with pinks, golds, silver and grey, greens and of course, plums and purples. Looks amazing on lower lashline, best application is with a freshly sharpened tip for a fine line. These are super soft and creamy so do wear down quickly - keep the cap on tight too or it can dry out.
I have all the pearlglides from Art Supplies and I am gutted they are all LE.

I really love this shade. Like several other MA's here I use this with Trax to make my blue-gold eyes pop green. Easy for a ten-thumbed person like me to apply, stays forever and is workplace appropriate.

After losing this that I only had for about a week (but fell in love with so I was using it everyday) I had to buy another one. Two days ago I found my first one! Good thing after MAC told me it was LE and about to be sold out. I still do my liquid black liner on top (thanks to my sister who got me hooked on it at a young age lol) I can't seem to shake it but I do layer and I mean LAYER as i don't think it glides too easily on the lower lash line because it is a little wet, I then put a thin line of trax underneath. I will say though the staying power is almost TOO good. Sure it definitely lasts all day, all night and half of the next day but I find even when using an eye makeup remover, its difficult to remove. But I guess id rather have this problem vs. having to reapply throughout the day! All in all I am sooo glad I found this!

I usually can't wear plum, but this is warm plum. It's slightly browny and has gold pearl. Really a beautiful colour.
Soooooo smooth and creamy, very pigmented, and stays on. Magic! Pure magic. I love this eyeliner. Such a shame it was a limited edition.
And considering how many times I've used it, it's still not dull!! Yay!

Beautiful color (reminds me of MAC trax) plum shade with gold sparkle. I generally wear black liquid liner on my top lash but love wearing this color on the bottom, especially if I am wearing Trax eyeshadow. I purchased this liner along with black line. I have other pearlglide liners (wolf, black russian and molasses) but prefer Black Line as my favorite. Almost noir is a gorgeous color but I can't see getting a lot of use out of it. I find using it about as often as I use Mac kohl pencil Raven.

I have 3 Pearlglides, This, Undercurrent and Industrial. I did not get petrol blue coz i have a greasepaint that looks like it kinda. They are all gooorgeous, but there is something I tried with Almost Noir. At firs when i used it(as an eyeshadow) it seemed blah...then I swatched it on my hand to see what i cld do with it
I let the first swatch dry, then added another layer...this did nothing to the color. o when it dried...i used my finger and lightly swept it over this sawtch and BOOOM!!the color popped reght before my eyes...It was like magic and I think if u have this pencil u shd try it and see..ps u can also do it with any of the others, it only intensifies the color!!!Good luck

LOVE this colour! Its perfect when you want to steer away from the typical black liner but not go over the top! It is a burgundy brown colour and goes on beautifully! I was afraid this wouldnt show up on my skin but it is quite pigmented. The pearlglide liners are by far my favourite! I'm going to have to go back and get Designer Purple and Blackline!

This Art Supplies collection was my first foray into pearlglide liners. Almost Noir is a stunning eyeliner form of Trax shadow, which is a burgundy/plum color laced with gold shimmer. This looks gorgeous on brown eyes, and I would assume it compliments green eyes as well. I am completely pleased with the formula of these pearlglide liners; they are the smoothest/creamiest I have ever tried, and they really stay put once they set for a few minutes. I have tried the eye kohls, fluidlines, and powerpoints from MAC, and these pearlglides are my favorite so far.

This is a lovely everyday eyeliner. Trax in eyeliner form for sure. Goes on smooth, stays put, and is certainly the best of my plummy eyeliners. I'm still searching for that highly pigmented dark plummy liner like sketch but a bit more plum a bit less brown.

I'm not over-the-top in love with this product, but after a couple of uses I have to say that it really is growing on me. It's like a lighter, sparkly version Mac's Raven Kohl Power, but with much better staying power. The formulation is creamy and goes on smoothly. The bits of glitter do tend to get everywhere after a while, but they're so small it isn't a huge problem. I kinda wish the color had a bit more punch to it - it's a little blah - but it does compliment my green eyes nicely. I might repurchase, although I'm tempted to give UD's 1999 a try.

It is a great liner which would look fabulous with NARS Kuala Lumpur duo - it reminds me of the purple color in that.
I think it makes a better shadow than liner.

Picked this up this wknd along w/ other items. The color is an eggplant, which i always happen to buy be it e/s or e/l. It reminds me of UDs 1999 so since i have that one too i compared them when i got home. Honestly i like the MAC e/l better. Its soft but not too soft like UD, after it sets it stays put all day! Id buy a backup but i don't wear e/l often & this pencil will prob last me a while.

Almost Noir looks like MAC Trax eyeshadow to me, which I love. A shimmery vibrant eggplant purple with gold shimmer. I love how smooth and efffortlessly these applies, and once on, it does not budge. These are wonderful, I wish I'd tried the pearlglides sooner

Wow! I am going to buy a backup of this liner because I love it so much. Skip Urban Decay's 1999 and get this instead. It has a deeper pigmentation with a little less glitter. I've also found that it lasts all day on both my upper and lower lash lines. It's has a soft, gliding formulation. I'd been looking for the perfect plum liner and this is definitely it.

This is basically the same shade as UD's 1999 except a little more pigmented, which is good in my books. I haven't tested its longevity yet but I definitely give a thumbs up for it's shade and pigmentation.

Update: I prefer UD's 1999 more even though it's less pigmented than Almost Noir. Almost Noir has too much glitter in it and it gets all over my eye area and face and irritates my eyes. 1999 is also more purply/plummy whereas Almost Noir is more of a blackened plum.
