This is what I use for warmer humid weather. definitely controls the oiliness well. but for cooler seasons I prefer shisheido's for a little more moisturizing.

This is the ONLY moisturizer that does as described for oily skin. I always keep a few extra bottles of this handy, ready to be used once i run out of the current ones being in use. But due to my super oily/problematic/ senstive skin, its not easy for me to find a product that will tame my oil/ pimple productions. I always rely on this moisturizer to do all of the above and much more. Great Product!

This product in addition to the Sparkling Clean cleanser and toner has reduced my breakouts, oiliness, and has improved the overall look of my skin. For years I have bounced back and forth between natural or drugstore products looking for a cost effective way to heal my skin. It has all been hit or miss until I came across these products about a year ago. The moisturizer hydrates, absorbs quickly, leaves no greasy shine, doesn't give me whiteheads, nor does it break me out. I strayed from this for one month and saw the consequences.

This works really really well when the weather get hot and humid, and makeup even double wear starts to melt away cuz it stays matte and absorbs oil, in the cold months when my skin is a tad drier I use something else underneath I still put this on top since it is a matte finish it work like a primer foundation just glides right over it.
The wonderful ladies at Estee Lauder recommended this one 90 degree day in August and I've used it ever since very happy with it. :0)

Not really a moisturizer, but more like a mattifier. Sucks at hydrating. Dries skin out more in the long run. Requires a lot because it absorbs super fast.

I tried this moisturizer during summer, along and without the Perfection Pore Minimiser serum from EL. I must say that the only thing that impressed me was the quickness of sinking in. However it does not control oil or reduce pore size, and it is also not moisturizing enough, the skin still feels like it needs something extra, especially in autumn and winter. I don't know if it has listed any anti-oxidants however my skin tone was unaffected by it.
All in one, it stands for just two qualities that it absorbs quickly into the skin and it's a good makeup base, but for that quality alone it is exorbitantly expensive.

I was lucky to swap for this to try it. I am loving it! It sinks in automatically and almost feels more like a primer when it has dried. My face feels smooth and oil-controlled, very soft. I think I will plan to have this be my daytime moisturizer, and continue to use my Merlot moonlight radiance moisturizer at night.
I'm surprised that the rating is so low on this. I would think people with oily skin, or even just oily tzones would do very well with this - I have an oily tzone, and feel well-controlled with this product.

I know I will re-purchase! That is the only drawback for me - that this is $32.50 at EL.
EDIT: this really is very awesome - so much so that I'm going to switch up my regimen to use this as both my moisturizer and primer. Oily skinned folks - this really is amazing.
My other complaint is that I've realized this doesn't have SPF in it. If it did, this would be the PERFECT moisturizer for oily skinned folks!
OK - SECOND EDIT: SAD! This ended up breaking me out just a bit. I think I may continue to use it as more of a primer for just my nose and forehead, no issues there. But I got a small breakout on my chin, and on my cheek.

Love this product. Being oily I am always weary of new things/moisturizers but this one is for oily people. Pretty happy with it. I always tell fellow oily people about.....no breakouts!!!

I tried this, then Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free, and decided that for my oily skin, Estee Lauder was the better of the two. It doesn't totally prevent oiliness, but it helps diffuse it so I look a bit glowy before I turn shiny, and that's a big plus. I really like how light-weight it is, and it absorbs very quickly so i can move straight on to my makeup.

I live in Iowa and it gets very hot and humid here. I have combination skin with an oily 'I' zone (forehead, nose, & cheeks). In the summer, this product was amazing. It oil yet left my skin feeling moisturized. I just love it when a product does what it says it does!

However, now that its autumn/closing in on winter, the air is drying up and so is my face. I don't need as much oil control but more moisturizing. I may purchase something else for the rest of the season and store my partial bottle away for the spring.

I only knocked off one lippie because it is so stinkin' expensive, but I don't mind as much because in the summer, it really does what it says it does for me. That's rare in any product, cosmetic or otherwise.

Huge disappointment. Other than it doesn't provide much oil control -- I have to admit I haven't found any moisturizer that controls oil well, it doesn't moisture well either. Totally not worth the money. Infect, the only EL products I liked are their serums, ANR, ANRC and Idealist, especially ANR. Will stay away from their cleanser / toner / moisturizer.

My skin is combination and gets really oily in the t-zone during the humid summer months. This product really controls the shine and makes my skin feel good. It works better than applying powder for me. 1 or 2 pumps covers my entire face. This hydrator coats your skin much like a primer. Leaves a smooth finish, perfect for foundation application. This is my second bottle and I will continue to purchase.

This really dried my skin out upon using it for only a week. My skin is extremely dry to a point where it's flaking really badly around the corners of my mouth. (i'm usually sensitive, combo/oily, very acne-prone skin). This did not seem to control oil either as my skin was oily within two hours. This product does not hydrate the tiniest bit even though it claims that it hydrates dehydrated skin. False advertisement! What a disappointment. I do like the packagint though - it's a lovely plastic pump bottle. The fragrance of this product is also very refreshing. The feel and texture of this product is also very light and utterly smooth BUT i think it's smooth because of the high content of silicones in it. Oh well, too bad it's going back to the EL counter. It's pretty pricey too so not worth it for me. Back to my Avene moisturizing lotion I go.

Love this product! As a person with oily skin (but 49 years old) it's a never ending search to find a moisturizer that doesn't make me oily or break out. This is wonderfully light. Makes my very sensitive skin feel smooth and nice. It's super light moisture. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I'm not sure if really helps my skin, I just really like the way it feels on my skin and it definitely does not irritate my skin in any way.

This product works wonders for me. Nothing will every totally remove oil for more than a few hours, but this comes pretty close. It's light, provides a smooth finish and has never broken me out in over 3 years of use. I will admit it's best in the summer allover and in the t-zone in winter. I have a feeling most users who have experienced 'balling' or breakouts have perhaps used too much product. You really only need 2-3 pumps total.

I initially purchased this product cos I needed a mattifying liquid for the day but it seemed to work better as a night treatment, clearing out my imperfections. It's very lightly moisturising, in the winter perhaps not enough. But used every night it really helped clear out my skin and diminished the look of large pores. I layered with EL DayWear moisturiser when my combination skin felt dry.

Unfortunately it seems that the product has become unavailable in Europe and so far I've not been able to find a replacement in the EL range.

Purchased this last week at Nordstrom; I was looking for a moisturizer to go over the Night Repair. Bingo! I can also use it during the day, which is HUGE for me. Never had smooth, soft, non-greasy/flaky skin before...what a treat!
