I like this product. I'm not saying its a miracle product, but it gets the job done. I usually only wear a light/medium coverage powder and concealer in places where I need coverage because I hate the feeling of wearing foundation everyday. My skin isn't perfect but isn't horrible either. I have redness, the occasional pimples, and I usually get cakey around my nose area because that's where most of my redness is. I use this to lightly even out my complexion, it works fairly well. Although there is shimmer, its not detectable on the skin. When I wear glasses, it makes my nose feel oily after a few hours. As for the color match, it matches fairly well. In the winter, I'm as white as it gets to be honest, so finding a light enough powder for me can be hard. It's pretty pricey for a drugstore powder and I've used better drugstore powders for a cheaper price. The packaging isn't bad, the little brush that comes with it is so useless but I use my own brush anyway. I don't think I'd repurchase this but it isn't a bad product.

Excellent portable setting powder. I can't see the shimmers when I use this on over a traditional foundation so I don't have a problem with any shine. I have dry skin and this sets whatever makeup I'm using whether that be a traditional liquid or cream foundation or just my sunscreen plus it adds just a bit of coverage. I do not use this over the Photoready liquid foundation that I have because that would then be double duty of shimmers and I have seen that effect and I don't like it. The finish reminds me of the Guerlain Meteorite balls in Mythic that I used up a couple of years ago. This is a fraction of that cost and just as effective in my opinion. I don't carry this with me as a touch up powder so I can't really attest to its use for that. Simple, cheap and effective for the dry skinned ladies as a setting powder.

Revlon's PHOTOREADY powder seems to melt seamlessly into my skin, with a colour that matches my fair skintone. The powder applies evenly, and it is easy to build up the product for a light/medium natural looking coverage; the finished look is mostly matt, but it still seems to have a slight glow to it. The coverage is so good that I don't need foundation under this, just a little dab of concealer on any blemishes.

The PHOTOREADY powder is meant to contain the same reflective pigments that the foundation does, but, unlike the foundation, I can't see any hints of the 'sparkle'. PHOTOREADY powder feels so lightweight; I feel like I'm not wearing any make up. I do have very dry and sensitive skin, but I've not experienced any dry patches or caking, I've also not experienced that tightness and itchy feeling, which a lot of other products have given me.

I like this powder very much. I dust some lightly over my liquid foundation to set it and take away the shine, which is what I believe it was meant for. in this respect it works beautifully. I can't even tell I am wearing powder, it feels so light and looks so translucent. there is a little sparkle in the pan, but it is nowhere near as "glittery" or chunky as other reviewers have claimed. it's just a very slight shimmer, and honestly it doesn't even show up on my skin. it just gives me a matte, natural finish.
I don't understand why there is so much fierce negativity about this powder. I think the problem people have is that they either cake it on or are simply using too much. it is meant to finish off your foundation, it isn't meant to cover flaws and be ground into your skin. remember to use a light touch, and that less is always more when it comes to foundation/powder. if you are looking for something heavier, then this powder is not for you. but for a light, natural powder to take away shine and set your makeup, this is a wonderful product.

Love barely begins to describe my feelings about this product. I have exceedingly fair skin. There is no point in fighting it. I have litterally been asked by children if my skin glitters in the sun. In all seriousness though, the quest for good products on truly fair skin is a nightmare. I am lucky in the respect that I have a fairly "flawless" complextion. I am unlucky in the fact that it is balanced out by dark undereye circles which are genetic. So I have three options at the start of my day, sunglasses, full makeup, or spend the day recieving well wishes and hopes for my quick recovery from whatever illness is making me look aweful. So it is safe to assume that I have spent alot of money and time in the search for the perfect fair skin products. I finally stumbled across this little gem and I could not be happier. I use PR foundation in Vanilla (perfect match to my skin). I then use covergirl fresh complextion concealer (I have a long term relationship with that product). I use PR in fair/light to set it. This is the only combination of products I have used ever that completely matches my skin, provides flawless coverage, does not settle into fine lines, wears all day with no touch up, does not oxidate (turn orange). I love, love, love it. However the brush it comes with is aweful, don't even bother. I use a Kabuki brush. Though I do save the brush it comes with because I have found it works well to sweep away falldown from applying eyeshadow! Works great for that purpose actually! The product does have a light sparkle however I hardly ever notice it, there is no way it is even close to "glitter". I will be honest though I don't think this is a good choice for people who have very oily or acne prone skin as it does nothing to control oil, nor does it provide good coverage for acne. Other then that it is awesome, and stays true to color which is hard to find in fair makeup! :) I stock up with this like the apocolypse is coming. <3 it and will use it until they stop making it.

I saw this at my local Walgreens,I normally stay clear of drugstore foundations anymore (Revlon Colorstay is an exception!) but thought to myself "well it does say airbrush finish". So was excited to give it a try. A tad weary of the 15.00 price tag...for a drugstore foundation??!! But figured it would be worth the money.

WRONG! This is a dreadful powder. Over any of my foundations it looks cakey, flakey and just overall disgusting. Worn alone, this product is even worse. It seems to sink into the pores, making them horribly swollen and appear larger. It even gets in between fine lines,i'm only 21 but this powder makes me look 38 easy. It makes my skin look wrinkled and frayed.

And oh my goodness!! The BRUSH that's included. -____- It is the worst, and man does it scrape up your skin. I had to end up throwing it out and just using a sponge. it wastes product, and provides an uneven, dry skin looking finish.

Really can't see this working for anyone.
Not worth a dime!

Everytime I have this on, my mom asks me why my face looks so dry. In other words, it looks awful. Really dry and cakey, no matter what I wear under it. However, it does have nice coverage. And the SPF is a splendid touch. I don't mind the sparkles either. It just looks terrible on me.

I've been using this for the past 10 months and haven't had any issues with it. I use it as a finishing powder over my foundation (Revlon PhotoReady Liquid Foundation in Natural Beige) and concealer (Revlon PhotoReady Concealer in Light) and it finishes my make-up quite well. I like how it gives my face an overall matte look and haven't really noticed the product appearing "shimmery". I would recommend this product only as a finishing powder and not as a powder foundation (as you definitely wouldn't get much coverage).

I use the Fair/Light pressed powder as a setting-finishing powder with the ELF flat-top powder brush. I don't wear much foundation, just a moisturizer + some concealer and blush and this powder, lightly over it all. When I use it lightly, it doesn't make me ghost-like.
It does have a little fine shimmer, but it works well for me. I don't reapply during the day so I don't travel with it, but it isn't very travel friendly.
It also cracks easily (esp if you drop it onto a counter or floor) so I just crush it up, add some 70% IPA and re-press it back into the pan.
I've been using it for several months and it is almost gone. I have another powder to use next so I won't be repurchasing yet. I would consider it in the future.

Do not want.

Big packaging, I can't throw it in my purse. I appreciate that it has a mirror and a brush. But I wouldn't use the brush, it's harsh and applies the product unevenly.
Most of all, I dislike the product. It is very noticeable that I'm wearing powder. It settles in my lines and looks cakey. Also, my T-Zone looks more oily than ever. For some reason, my nose looks like it's made of oil after I use this powder.

I don't mind that it has a satin finish, but overall a bad product. And, I'm an NW20, the lady decided to give me the fair/light one, and I just went with it. Wrong. I look like a ghost.

First the packaging is so big and bulky and impossible to put in a makeup bag. Secondly the colour is ok but this is a moot point when there are actual visible sparkles in your powder Im not talking about tiny little specks that read as glowy or luminous on the skin I am talking about one hair away from glitter. Also this does nothing to mattify and actual seems to produce more oil. The only plus is that it looks ok in photos but in natural lighting absolutely awful

Awful. Put it on and check in the mirror 10 minutes later and I look oilier than I did before putting it on and I dont look like I have any powder on..not that you want to look like you have powder on, but you know your face when you're wearing it. Im not sure WHERE this stuff goes when my face touches nothing in just a few minutes but it's like batteling a war you cannot win when trying to wear it.

Pretty much a fail. I like my oily skin to have a "soft matte" look - this honestly makes my face look like I have much oilier skin than I do and that I've attempted to mattify with a really heavy, ineffective powder. Yech. Plus the glitter is terrible. On top of everything it beaks me out in a way I don't usually break out, little hard whiteheads. Double yech. The mirror is nice quality, but it makes the compact too big since it isn't over the product. My much preferred drugstore alternative is Maybelline Dream Matte powder.

I apply it over my Revlon PhotoReady foundation and it keeps me oil-free throughout the day and just 'finishes' the look for me. I've never liked a powder as much as this one.

Uhm... okay just reviewed their liquid (maybe a better product) but this is really not that bad, its right in the middle. It has very good coverage:beautiful high coverage light weight, it is pretty affordable:10-11 bucks, and the packaging is just packaging: you can totally live without a cuddly package. The only thing is it only comes in three colors and it is hard to choose a color when you just got tan and you will inevitably get pasty again. Go Dark Go Light? It is hard to choose, try the lighter the colors are deeper than you might think.Sparkle does not seem so bad in this product.

This a wonderful product. Depending on how much you use, the powder works well. I love this stuff, I wear it over my foundation and it provides light coverage to eliminate shine throughout the day, but is not over drying or make my face break out.
I recommend this to people who are looking for a nice powder.

So this powder has like big sparkles in it? I was thinking it would be finley grinded sparkles that give your face like a metallic glow? But it looked like cheap 4 year old make up. It wasnt cheap either. The powder does cover well tho which is the only plus...

Okay i absolutely hate this product. This is the worst pressed powder i have ever had! It only comes in two colors: fair to light and light to medium. I had to go with fair to light because the other one is too dark for me. This made me even whiter than i already am! It made me look like a ghost and i looked chalky with this! YUCK! I was really shocked, i heard such good things about photo ready but this just really sucks. I would not reccomend to anyone and it doesn't even last all day! You can tell i am wearing powder, it doesn't give me that "flawless" look. I seriously regret this so much. The only good thing about it, is that it has a mirror. Everything else sucks. And, the brush it comes with sucks too. Do not buy this. It is a waste of money!! Very disappointed with Revlon!
