I bought this lipgloss at the Dollar Tree..Can't beat a bargain,eh? :)
Pink Icing is a silverish slight shimmery light barbie doll pink.
The texture is sticky and thick, almost like the texture of a liquid lipstick|which I hate!!|
You almost have to really squeeze to get this thick gloss out of the tube. It has a doe-foot applicator, and it is in a squeeze type applicator |Not my fave kind of packaging,I like the wand type.|
The scent is a candy scent, and there is no flavor. This is an okay gloss for those who like shimmery light pink frosted barbie doll pink lip.
L.a. Colors has a similar gloss like this in wand form:Moisturing Lipgloss in BLG334 Pink Pearl.
You can make this gloss work for you by mixing/thinning down the texture with other glosses;Just apply a small amount to the back of your hand and then add a small amount to the mixture of another thinner,glittery/shimmery lip gloss of choice.
Update: 6/11/12 Ugh..I got rid of this gloss,it was like putting cake icing on one's lips. I must have got a bad batch. Sheer? No.

***No sarcasm whatsoever in this review despite my name***
Sticky, thick, weird fuzzy applicator, hard to get out of the tube, never buying it again, worst lipgloss ever. Enough said.

I love this lipgloss, and this particular shade. I love LA Colors, so I bought a bunch of lip glosses from them, and this is one of my favorites. It's a beautiful pale pearly pink shade that makes my lips appear full and sexy. I have very pigmented lips, but prefer a pale lip, and this gloss gives me that, without the corpse effect. I also like the packaging. Pink Icing is a beautiful shade :-)

Maybe I got a bad tube, but this stuff is like glue on my lips. Way too sticky and heavy, my lips practicly stick when I try to rub them together. The color and packaging is pretty, though. I just have tons of other glosses I like wayyyy better in similar colors.

If you read my review for the LA Colors "Tease" palette, it's completely opposite of this one. I normally praise this brand, but this certain shade.. I just can't. Sorry LA Colors, I will still buy your other products though! :) Anyway, I bought this at my local Dollar Tree thinking it was their other lip gloss in just "Pink". They look rather similar in the tube. I still have "Pink" and that color looks rather flattering on me. A pretty light pink shade that isn't overly frosty or makes me look like a prostitute LOL. I thought I was getting low, so I picked up "Pick Icing" thinking they changed the name of it. WRONG! While this looks rather similar in the tube, this comes out as frosty and non-wearable on me. I was in the break room at work talking to one of my co-workers when applying this and it was almost white-pink frost and she looked at me like I had gone insane! LOL. I was like uhhh wrong glossy haha. So I wiped it off and tried to experiment with it later to "tone" it done some since I don't like wasting products [even if they are a $1]. Well, unfortunately.. this to me, in my opinion, isn't a wearable color if your lips aren't WHITE already lol. Too much frost for me. I will have to go to Family Dollar to find the regular "Pink" instead. Good luck to anyone that can make this color look reasonable. :\

A $ Tree discovery. Initially, underwhelmed by the incredible frosty/glittery/tween look of this. Yet, after some careful blending, this wasn't too too much on me, and just gave my lips a slight lift and polish. Not too glossy. Gloss is sticky, but wearable, if applied thinly and conservatively. Pink icing is a light mid pink shade. Not coral, not orange-and not at the red nor fuschia end of the spectrum either. A nice subtle color that I feel I could wear in the medical setting with relative comfort and ease (one of the few glosses that would let me do that. Light, fruity scent. Minimal taste. Lasts for about as long as any other gloss. For $1, not a bad find at all!. A nice addition to my pink gloss stash!.
