I have tired MANY mascara's. A few from the range's of YSL, Dior, Lancome, Clarins, Shiseido, MAC, Clinique, Lauder, Givenchy, Bobbi Brown, as well as Mabeline, Rimmel, etc. I have also tried many from Max Factor because of all of the reviews.
I do not want the 'doll' look of thick, fake looking lashes. I find them to be really ugly. So if that is what you want, do not bother buying this. If you are like me and want beautiful, natural, long (depending on how you apply it) lashes, than this is the only one that I would recommend.
What really annoys me, is that it is getting harder and harder to find. PLEASE Max Factor.......do not stop making this!

Let's see....
This is my second tube and by far this mascara has won over my heart.
Just to clearify: I have impossibly thin and fair lashes that either get clumpy or messy with most mascaras.
This is perfect for the type of lashes mentioned above: non-messy application, EXTENTION and great lasting time.
But be down-to-earth, it doesn't have the same effect as false lashes. It gives natural-lookng defined look.
Still, just like all MF mascaras: safe choice :D

Like the other MFs, this stays on well. It's a more natural look than my usual Stretch and Separate. First time opened it didn't do much but it thickened (and improved) after a few uses. Great for lower lashes and pretty good for daytime. Would need a few coats to give any volume for evening and I couldn't be bothered!
Verdict: I'd buy it again, but only if I couldn't get Stretch and Separate. If you like a natural look, give this a try. If you use MF 2000 calorie, you probably won't like this because it doesn't give that volume.

Last time I needed a new mascara, I read lots of reviews around as I didn't want to use a lot of money on a product I can't use for more than 3-4 months. Usually, Clinique High Impact (Curling, sometimes) Mascara is my bestfriend, but now I find it too expensive (ironic since this mascare costs almost exacly the same)..
When I saw pictures of the result with this mascare I thought it looked great, with one layer and more layers. But when I tried it for the first time it was horrific. Clumpy, long, weird lashes (3 layers). Now, after the mascara has dried up a bit, it has turned on to be my favourite! Long lashes (they looks MUCH better than with Lancome l'extreme)! The curl lasts all day long, and it doesn't smudge. It is very, very easy to remove.
I use to have short lashes, today I love my looooong, beautiful, curled lashes! Recommended!!

I live in a relatively wet environment and I'm always looking for a good waterproof mascara that doesn't clump, flake or smear and that would actually be waterproof so I wouldn't look like a panda after walking in the rain/snow.
This I think is it. It doesn't go anywhere from my lashes and it dries very quickly which is important to me because I wear glasses and I need my lashes dry fast to put my glasses on and go.
I love that it leaves natural lashes but if you're looking for something dramatic, this isn't it. It holds curl well, better then anything else I've used.
For me it comes off easily, I use Neutrogena oil-free makeup remover and it just slides off.
I will definitely repurchase.
EDIT: Well. Okay after giving this a decent try (as in using it daily for about three weeks), I have to say this is not the best option for sensitive eyes. Too bad :( My eyes were really uncomfortable and slightly burning but I thought it's my eyeliner so I kept switching eyeliners. But as soon as I tried out Bourjois mascara for sensitive eyes, the burning stopped. So this mascara burns my eyes. Drat!

This is one of the few mascaras I've actually made a repeat purchase of. I've had about 4 tubes of this, all in waterproof black or brown, and I love it. The brush is great for defining and lengthening - it gives a bit of volume, but not much of a curl. It also allows you to put multiple coats on without it going clumpy. It's not going to give you a particularly bold night-time look, but it gives a good "enhanced natural lashes" kind of look.

It goes great if you're looking for a natural look with some brown eyeliner underneath. It gives my lashes lovely length. The price is okay for the quality and the packaging is elegant and slick. It doesn't really make my eyes 'pop' much at all though.

Another nice mascara from MF, altho I prefer the false lash effect tbh.
This is a mascara if you want to go for longer lashes, because in my experience, it does nothing for volume.
They say its the longest brush of their mascaras, but I've seen a lot of similar brushes tbh.
So, great for lengths and a nice plus is it gives the illusion of having lots and lots lashes! Thats a very nice effect which I didnt expect. So I grab this one if I want to go for a more natural look.

This is an excellent mascara. Elegant , sleek tube, nice wand (those rubber ones without real bristles).
However, you need some patience when you apply it!
First application, 1st coat: nothing. I was already cursing for a wrong purchase. Wait....apply a 2nd coat.
Already better! my lashes get longer, are defined (this is what I look for, definition, black colouring, no clumps).
3rd coat: WOW! the lasshes are really long, defined, they ae not clumped nor stuck together ...I am amazed! this is excellent, you get really a lash extention looks.
The only thing, as I said, you need to be patient as you need to apply 3 coats as a min to get the real "Oomph"!
Very good and cheap (got it for 6 £).

This product was 50% off so i thought i would give it a go. It is a nice mascara, has given my light, stubby little lashes a bit of length without major clumping. Gives a nice natural look, eyes looked defined without overtly looking like you are caked in mascara. If you want something dramatic though another product may be better.

This mascara was very good. After using two other max factor mascaras- which were very good- I decided to give it a try. It lengthened my lashes a lot and the smaller bristles on the brush made it easier to coat the smaller lashes. Good price aswell- it cost me £10. Worth buying ang giving it a go!!

I really liked the water-soluble version of this mascara and wanted to try the waterproof as well. Since it hasn't been available in Finland yet, I found it on eBay, and paid only a few pounds for it! Firstly, it's not actually waterproof, but washable waterproof instead, which means it comes off with warm water. But since it's not really waterproof, it doesn't hold my curl, as waterproof mascaras usually do. Still, I don't find any reason not to curl my lashes after I've applied my mascara (I know you're not supposed to do that, but I've been doing that for ages, and still have all my lashes :) Just make sure the mascara has completely dried before using a curler). As for the product itself, it's exactly like the original version, and pretty much the same comments apply: the brush is perfect, it separates lashes beautifully, produces some length, and with successive coats you can build light thickness as well.

I didn't like this mascara much, unfortunately it didn't do much for my lashes. I always buy waterproof mascaras as they hold the curl of the lashes but this one did not. I found the long wand was a bit hard to use as there was not as much control. Just another average mascara. The packaging is a black sleek tube, quite nice.
