This was one of my first purchases from LUSH, and I have got to say I am incredibly impressed with their store! It really is amazing. I love that everything is hand crafted, all the different lotions/bath bombs/facial masks etc. I am absolutely mesmerized by their products and LOVE the idea of a "bubble bar". I also got two bath bombs, but I was super excited to try this. I LOVE glitter and I love gold so I couldn't wait to lay in a pool of liquid gold. I was staying in a hotel, so I had a Jacuzzi tub and that really helped the bubbles form. I love how soft the water felt. Definitely amazing, but doesn't leave you covered in glitter. I don't really know much about the clean up or if it makes your tub dirty because I used this at a hotel.

Really dont like this. Didnt smell of anything, WAY too much glitter and gets all over the place. Didnt really do anything at all for me.

I'm working on my 3rd Sunny Side bubble bar. It's one of my favorite products from Lush. It has a beautiful citrus smell to it. I use about a third of the bar for each bath and it makes lots of bubbles and the water turns a beautiful gold shade, it has lots of glitter but it doesn't coat the skin in glitter. I like to pair this with my dragon's egg bath bomb and I get the most beautiful organge water with gold flecks and my skin feels so soft afterwards. This is one of my holy grail items from Lush.

It made my bath pretty amazing. It does not smell that strong. It's incredibly glittery. It makes loads of bubbles. I think that the appearance of the bubble bar is much better then the smell of it. I was a little dissapointed but i wasn't to annoyed. I recommend it to someone who wants their bath to be gold and bubbly. However, don't buy it if you think it's gonna smell good because it does not smell of anything in the bath.

Wow. This made my bath look like liquid gold, with swirls of well, gold. It was very pretty. Although it had no fragrance (to me) and didn't do much for my skin, it also made my hair tangled. Beautiful gold but not worth repurchasing.

Sunny Side was my first Lush bath bar, and I LOVE it. I love the smell, I love the bubbles it creates, and I love the glitter and iridescent gold swirly water it makes! The smell filled my whole bathroom and really created a relaxing environment for me to forget the day's stresses. I will definitely repurchase Sunny Side!

Hey Girls!

Okay this one should be used as a cocktial. I, for one, am glad it doesnt smell too much b/c Im not really into citrus. I mix this with EVERYTHING think pink, big blue, fox in the flowers, dragons egg ... I dont even really care about the bubbles b/c its the effect that it has on the water itself that I LOVE...waves of liquid gold take every bath bomb up a notch. I went to Atlantic city and stayed in a suite with a big jet tub and the bubbles were crazy but I was more excited when they went away and i could REALLY enjoy my mermaid bath (big blue & sunnyside). And the best part is you can get a good 3-4 uses out of one bar that way. Try it, you'll love it!

I used this in conjunction with big blue. A third of the bar gives decent amounts of bubbles but as others have said, it gives almost no smell. Its so fun watching all the gold swirls in the water though!

i love combining this w/ bath bombs or melts (big blue, happy pill). the scent is barely there. :( wish it were more scented.

I love how it feels on the skin, and the smell is nice and lemony-not too sickly! Definitely LOVE the gold glitter.. I just keep it in my room before using it as a decoration :P! It is one of those staples that I keep re-purchasing and hope never gets discontinued.. because it's an amazing treat to feel like royalty.. a bath of liquid gold.. yay! :)

Pretty but not fragrant. I smelled nothing at all. Bubbles were nice, glitter was cute, water was enchanting with it's golden glittery brew. But I NEED aromatherapy when I take a bath and this did not deliver. There are way better bubble bars/melts/bombs etc... from LUSH. Not falling for the glitter again.

This is a staple for me because I need it to make "Mermaid Water". I've never used this without a bath bomb, it would seem a little boring.

It's a light fresh scent, with tons of bubbles and gold glitter!
This + Big Blue bath bomb = Mermaid Water.
Magical!
My best friend and I reserve Mermaid Water baths for cures for the worst days. It has never let me down.

I was drawn to this product for three reasons:
1. The invigorating citrus scent
2. The thick coating of finely milled gold glitter.
3. The name. It seemed like a nice meditation on optimism.

Once I put it in the tub, it wasn't quite as fragrant or skin-softening as I had hoped. Nonetheless, the sight of all that glitter sparkling in the water indeed lifted my spirits and made me feel more optimistic than when I started my day.

Given the price, I don't think I would purchase this again, but I did enjoy the glamor of the sparkly suds. I also enjoyed rinsing out the tub afterward because the suds would twinkle like mad from all the glitter inside. It was like the entire floor of my tub was paved in diamonds.

I saved half the bubble bar for a second bath, and when I use it, I will add a few drops of essential oil or perfume oil to amp up the weak fragrance and make this bath experience even more of a sensory treat.

The next time I buy a LUSH product, I'll probably go for The Comforter, which smells wonderful. It doesn't have glitter, but I'm willing to give up the glitter in exchange for a different olfactory experience.

I got this product for free because the Lush SA doubled one of my purchases. They were nice enough to give me Sunny Side Bubble Bar and a soap scrub (I don't know what the product is called).

So I used half of the bubble bar, I usually break up the bubble bars in threes, but I was unable to. So it made tons of small foamy bubbles. It left my water a tint of dark yellow almost bronze with lots of gold glitter. It was cute to be in the water but I didn't feel like it smelled like anything special. In comparison to Lush's other bubble bars Sunny Side isn't half as fragrant, so if you're into something more toned down and fun this is it.
I dropped a piece of You've been Mango-ed Bath Melt into it for moisturizing purposes and the two fragrances didn't diffuse or confuse each other. I smelled the mango bath melt a lot more.

Overall it was cute, but probably will not purchase on my own.

I would have to agree with the previous poster. This didn't WOW me either. The scent reminded me of household cleaning products ... but I did like the glitter. Bubbled up really well, but the scent just killed it for me.

As a bubble bar it did create great bubbles and the golden shimmer bath water was nice. However I didn't like the scent and it did not do anything for my skin. LUSH isn't cheap so there was not enough of a WOW factor that I would repurchase.
