I got this product on the "discount table" my local Sephora was having one day. This stuff seriously knocks the shine off my face. I use it every single day over my normal make up or a tinted moisturizer. I also keep it with me so I can powder my oily t zone though out the day. Doesn't smell weird, doesn't feel heavy or cakey. It just really pulls my whole look together every single time. LOVE

I love this loose mineral setting powder. The price is very reasonable. It looks great with just a tinted moisturizer, actually since i've started using it, I've dropped on wearing my foundation so much. It goes great with my smashbox tinted moisturizer. You don't even need a facial primer, this setting powder will allow ur foundation/concealor to last, it lasted me through out some vigorous times. The price is very reasonable, and I actually got it when it was half off, so I lucked out there. It has not broke me out or anything, very light but effective. The packaging sucks. It comes in a big metal looking case, wish it was more functional packaging.

I decided to try this in place of the Bare Minerals setting powder. It's just as good, but cheaper, and you get more product. I'll definitely be buying this again! I also like that it is translucent. I'm pale as a ghost.

I first had this in the pressed version, the matte touch-up powder. I really liked that, but wanted to take the pressed version with me in my purse, and wanted to have something at home for me to use when I get ready in the morning. I bought this version, and think it is virtually the same as the pressed version. I think it may be a little different - this version may be slightly more opaque. I do like this - it it translucent, just gives you a nice finished look. I think this would work for any skin tone as the powder just finishes your look, and doesn't add color. I'm not noticing any irritation or scent with this - it may work well for those with sensitive skin. I think this is going to be lovely for summer - it is so light and translucent that I think this would even work well if you only want to wear some concealer in spots and then just use this to set a bit and keep shine away! In terms of packaging, this has the typical sifter jar. I just peeled back the first two rows of holes, and left the rest. This seems to give me just the right amount of product to work with when poured into the cap. This is $18 at Sephora.

Been using this for over a month. I love it soooo much!!! I was contemplating on buying the MUFE HD translucent powder but i'm glad I didn't!!! This is much cheaper, and gives me a flawless matte finish!! It doesn't notice-ably change my skin tone ( I am MAC NC40 and "translucent" powders tend to wash me out a bit and make my face look lighter). This is absolutely invisible and 100% translucent for me. I have combination skin so it's great for oily skin and dry skin (although if you have dry skin I highly suggest you moisturize before applying otherwise the flaky dryness is visible/notice-able). It's extremely affordable for the amount of product it comes with. The packaging is great and the sifter helps with portion control. Absolutely great product and I will def. be re-purchasing!!!

First impression
I went out on a limb and order this product, without trying it out first. I am an EX user of MAC's Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder and MUFE's HD Powder. Two of the best and high rated setting powders, sadly they did not work with me. Why? MUFE HD Powder made my skin silky smooth and 'poreless' but left me horribly oily at the end of the day. MAC's Finishing Powder worked wonders for my skin. I religious used this product of 2 years and went through two containers. So why am I switching it up if I've found something that worked? Because sadly, this doesn't help keep my skin matte. But it doesn't leave me oily like the MUFE HD. And because I need to change it up a bit, I honestly kind of got tired of it and I think my skin has too, my pores show and don't disappear like they use to when I first started using this product.
(NO MAKEUP)
I got my order in the mail and I immediately washed my face to prep my skin for application. I decided to apply the product on HALF of my face, so I could see the difference between sides. I first applied Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 as my moisturizer. Then my SmashBox Photofinish Light. Then I set both with this Sephora Mineral Matte Setting Powder. And I'd have to say, I like this product. It made my face look soft and smooth, not only look, it felt soft and smooth too. Downside is that it accentuate my dry spots :( Hopefully this will change when I try it with foundation and the whole shabang.

Best product I've ever bought from Sephora. Based on the other reviews, it's a really reliable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Where I live it costed around $18, but I checked out MUFE's HD powder in the "travel" size which was reviewed to be plenty, was $16 and was at least a third of the quantity. So, I picked this one and am stunned. It's amazing! I have such oily skin and this one definitely controlled it, and it looks like I virtually have no pores at all. Also, your skin feels waaay softer to the touch, which I love! BUY THIS LADIES :)

A hidden gem at sephora. I use this setting powder everyday and it helps to keep my face matte all day long. It has light reflecting particles in it so it dosent look dead matte, a little goes a long way, looks good in flash photography, and they now have a compact version if you prefer a pressed powder to loose. I have both and have no desire to keep looking for a good setting powder. HG!

I love this setting powder! It's so cheap but effective. My face stays matte throughout the whole day and my makeup is always in place. The only time I cannot use it is when I have a breakout because it makes the bumps more noticeable.

UPDATE: It did indeed become my HG. I use it everyday even if I'm in a rush I'll use this and some mascara and run out the door. It makes my skin looks smoother and matte but not cakey in any way. It leaves my face matte for most of the day. I use it with a non-dense kabuki brush.
Might become my HG of setting powder. I use it every day. I live in South Florida and the heat and humidity doesn't help my oily skin. This keeps my face matte for 3 hours which is incredible for me. I am now using it everyday and when I'm going out I rather use this if I'm short on time than anything else.

i got this powder then i got my sephora foundation and it works great! my skin stays matte for about 3 or 4 hours which i think is good since i have oily skin. other powders would make my face get oily within 1 or 2 hours. i dont really like the packaging beacuse the alot of powder gets on the top so i had 2 put tape on half of the side of holes. other then that its great!

I bought this to take with me when i went to vegas, knowing it'll be hot there. I have finicky skin (sensitive, combo/normal). My face does get oily throughout the day andI was looking for something to take down the oil but also something that was translucent so that it wouldn't interfere with my foundation colour. With mattifying powders, becuz they mattify, it can make your skin look dull and dry. This one doesn't since it contains light reflecting particles. it's very sheer and light and the powder is silky and super finely milled. Blends like a dream and best of all it didn't make me break out!

This is probably my favorite new find. I was looking for a decent finishing powder that didn't look cakey, sparkly or change my foundation color. I ran across this just as I had resigned myself to buying another tiny ,overpriced replacement jar of Bare minerals powder. I think I paid under $14 for a large jar of this from Sephora. Easily more product than any other mineral finishing powder I've used by about 5 Xs and it works great. It controls shine and sets both mineral and liquid foundation beautifully. Just be sure to use a fluffy brush and apply lightly or you'll end up looking like Casper. With a light touch this goes on clear and keeps my makeup fresh for hours with minimul blotting or Powder touch ups through the day. I hope they keep this product around I will definitely keep buying.
