I love these polishes. They're pretty much the only drugstore alternative to a holographic polish! However, I find that the particles that make it holographic could be more dense with these. The holo is definitely there, but it's not as strong as some other holos I've seen!

Love these! I have the purple, pink and blue...all are gorgeous. They are just amazing in terms of formula also. Very nice holo effect and they dry smooth and perfect, never to thick or lumpy and they last well under most topcoats I have used. Excellent product.

This nailpolish in the color Digital is my favourite! I had a mani done a few months ago, and I chose the OPI color from their Designer Series - Reserve. I loved the color so much I went to go and buy it, but refused to pay $37 for a bottle of nailpolish (the only place I could find it in NZ) I am SO glad I did not buy it, because the Milani Nailpolish Digital shade is an EXACT dupe for this! And whats better is its waaaay cheaper, and I got longer wear out of it on my nails than OPI (go figure). It is such a beautiful pink, and so shimmery and sparkly. I only need two coats to get true color, and as I said, it stays put. Love love love! Will definitely be buying again!

I have been searching and searching for a quality holo polish, and must say, I was thrilled beyond belief when I saw this set was still being offered. I was not entirely sure what to expect based on user swatches throughout the web, and now that I own all but one, I'm still on the fence.
Application is very smooth and even, and unlike a lot of holo polishes with glitter pieces, it has a very smooth and glossy feeling finish. (I have noticed that it does not photograph so smoothly - it looks like chunky glitter in images.) It also goes on rather sheer, but that's really to be expected. Full bottle color comes with about 3 moderate-to thin coats, or 2 slightly thick coats.
The colors themselves are GORGEOUS, and the hues really suit my style. As for how holo they really are? well, that's a bit of a let-down in my book. They're pretty, they sparkle, but the holographic dazzle is only barely there. Inside, outside, low-light, direct light.. it makes little difference. The only place I've manages to see any worthwhile dazzle is under the overhead lights at Panera (lol).
I think these lovely hues have a good future as either a top layer or as a base color for stamping, but they don't really have enough to really be a stand-alone color. They add amazing color depth, and have a nice sparkle, but I think in order to get a good holo effect, they desperately need a holo top coat (even if it's something with a relatively light effect, like China Glaze's Fairy Dust... which I love.)
Final judgment: Pretty color, nice application, smooth finish, looks AWESOME in a funky french (I like it with black).

I have three of these (green, gold and blue) and love them all. They are not really holographic but they do have very fine multi colored glitter particles in them so it appears like they are. The ''holo'' effect is more obvious in some (for example Hi-tech, the green one). They look nice in darker spaces but under a sunlight or any other kind of direct light they are simply gorgeous. The effect is most obvious if you apply multiple coats (I usually do two or three), one comes out a bit too sheer. The brush is good and I never have any problem applying these, the polish is quite thin and it dries quickly. They are as easy to remove as any other nail polish. They last two or three days, after that they usually start chipping. I will probably purchase all the colors eventually and I would repurchase if I ever used it up completely.

I purchased all of the colors offered in this collection EXCEPT the gold one (3D) off of cherry culture after seeing tons of holos on the nail blogs.
The colors are nice (a bit pastel for my likes) and the holo effect on most of these are scattered. The thing that has me the happiest is that the holo effect is wonderful in both natural and artificial light. I love knitting at night and catching my nails in the light as they show off their holo-y goodness. :)
I usually apply 3-4 thin coats, but I also do layer these over another color to use less coats but still get color. They layer extremely well over other colors and still show off their holos with just 1-2 coats over a base color.
Wear on these are also pretty decent, with base and topcoat, I start to see chipping after a few days. And removal's a cinch, no problems or stubborn spots ever!

I've been looking for these everywhere and I finally came across a few at Target a few days ago! They had 3D, Hi-Res, and Digital and I picked them all up. So far I've only tried Hi-Res but I love it. I don't have any experience with any other holos unfortunately, so I can't compare how strong the effect is, but its really pretty and application was a breeze. If I can find the others, I'll purchase them too!

so uh after a month of waiting for this to come in the mail i finally got HD (the silver one). Ive been looking for a holo for a long time, and this one does the job :D however i need 3-4 coats for it to show up properly. The consistency is very thin so it is relatively fast drying. I can see myself layering this over other colours too like a top coat - like over black or using it in nail art with a paint brush. I wish I grabbed the other colours :/

I have every color. The green one (Hi Tech) is my favorite. They look awesome outdoors on sunny days. Inside, the purple, pink, and gray are pretty boring but they light up outside. I needed at least 3 coats to cover but each one dries quickly.

I bought this in Hi-Res (purple), went home and immediately painted my nails. STUNNING. I wasn't expecting much in the holographic department, but it completely blew me away. The purple is a beautiful dark lilac color that I just can't stop staring at. It's gorgeous in the sunlight. Can't say much about how long it lasts since I just put it on yesterday, but I have high hopes. Don't let me down, Milani! And since I have a 25% off coupon for CVS, I most definitely have to go back and get the rest of the colors. :)

These colors are fabulous! I have the green, purple, and rose color. Milani polish lasts for a long time, especially on my toes.

I purchased the Milani 3D Holographic Nail Lacquer in Cyberspace, Hi-Res and Hi-Tech. They are absolutely beautiful I love the colors and the names are extra cute. I prefer when this has a top coat over it because its smoothened out but thats just my preference. But over all these are very very pretty.

I love holos and was over the top excited to see this gem at CVS! I got Cyberspace and almost picked up the gold one too but decided to try this out first. I LOVE IT. I am stil intensely bitter and sour that I missed out on china glazes OMG collection so I dont want to miss out on any more entrancing holo polishes. There was 4 bottles of the gold left and I got the last silver so I felt good about being able to go back and grab it.
That was until I stopped by sallys right after and saw that they have the china glaze TRONICA COLLECTION out!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!! All holos I think 9 different colors. GO BUY THEM NOW!! Im going to get them all! :):):):):):):) So I wont be soo bitter about missing out on omg. I still am really glad I purchased the milani because it wears well and is a color I can use over and over again in a lot of different manicures. Its not crazy sparkly in doors so I would even suggest this for older women. It doesnt looks like its only for the teenage crowd in other words (I'm 28) so dont be afraid to try it out.
If you see this one snatch it up. And dont forget to check out the tronica collection too! You can thank me later!

I love glittery polishes and this has got to be one of my top favorites! I bought the silver one on a whim when I visited CVS the other day and now I want to buy more! I was a bit wary of how it would actually look 3d. With my first application of about 3-4 coats, I definitely saw some of the 3d effect but not a whole lot. So I was kind of disappointed. But later on I happened to glance down at my nails and the 3d was in full effect! There was a large bright white light beaming down on them so I definitely saw it. It was so pretty! I couldn't stop looking at my nails. I had some appliques on too so it added to the look. I am looking to buy the purple and pink polishes! Hopefully they release more colors in the 3d series!
Definitely a great buy for me and would buy again!

I'm getting older but I'm still a sucker for Holo np's. I bought the lavender one (Digital) and love it. The color itself is a sheer lavender/pink and I needed 3 coats to cover my nail from showing through. The holo glitter within the color reflects off the light showcasing a multi-demensional rainbow. I feel that the holo glitter in this is chunkier than the ones in OPI. I like this color, it's very pretty and not too obnoxious. The formula itself lays down nice and I experienced no streaking.

I bought the Milani #D holographic polish in 513 digital. I am usually not a very big fan of pinks, but this rose is sort of a light rosy pink and was very different from all of the other pink colors I already own. It took two coats to completely cover my fingers, there was absolutely no streaking at all. They application was okay, the brush was a little too long and skinny. I prefer shorter brushes that are thicker because they are easier for me to use. I really liked the bottle. I usually don't buy Milani because the color of the lid is a creamy beige and I think it makes the polishes look cheap. however this bottle had a black top on it. Call me OCD, but I'm sure some of you out there must agree with me. Overall I highly recommend this product, especially if you are looking for a unique holo pink.

I took my daughters on shopping, and my three-year-old decided she wanted sparkly, purple nail polish. I felt it was a reasonable reward for her cooperation, so I gathered all of the polished that fit her description and let her pick one.
She, as usual, wanted us to match, so I painted 20 toes and 20 fingers last night (using a base and top coat).
Today, I went to the beach, swam in my pool, washed dishes, and cleaned, using bleach. In other words, I did ever cruel thing to my painted nails that I could.
The result? There is definite wear on the tips, but not real chipping or peeling. So far, I'm pretty impressed.

I searched high and low for these and they finally showed up in my CVS. I got green (hi-tech) because i have most of the color families covered in my holos...
I gotta say, I find this color to be sort of offensive. I guess it's a nice broken holo but the green is tennis ball green rather than the cool lime green i was expecting. I'm not crazy about the brush either
overall, like any holo polish, it's fun to look at and if you are deprived of holos this collection is affordable and has lots of colors. but if you have enough holos it's nothing special.

I was so excited to try one of these holographic nail polishes when I first saw them on MUA. The next time I went to my CVS I picked up the purple one (don't have it with me at the moment so I don't know the name).
Looking at them in the store they looked kind of cool but not exactly as beautiful as I had hoped. I went home, tried it on and really was just disappointed. It looks exactly like it does in pictures so if that's the look you're going for then you'll be very happy with them. I guess I'd been hoping it would look a little more sparkly and flashy and different than it looked in pictures.
It looks like chunks of glitter (not HUGE chunks) that kind of reflects differently under different lights but not really drastic enough for me. It still pretty much remains the same color. Wearing it I really felt like I was in middle school or something...It was just glittery nail polish to me...nothing special and very childlike.
It applied very easily and the removal was surprisingly easy too. Glittery nail polishes usually are not very easy to remove. Lasting power was pretty decent, probably a little less than a week on me before it started chipping.
Cool concept...just not perfected in my opinion. I think it would look much better if the glitter chunks were much, much finer than they already are in the nail polish, it needs to be more subtle. Unfortunately I'd have to say that I can't really imagine wearing this polish again on its own...maybe I'll use it for tips or something.

I love the China Glaze Kaleidoscopes but I only managed to snag a couple of them (the rest of the ones I wanted have sold out). So when Milani came along with their similar looking Holos I snagged all but one of them (the gold one).
I've now tried all 5 of the ones I purchased: HD (silver), Cyberspace (blue), Hi-Res (purple), Digital (pink), and Hi-Tek (green).
For me it took 3-4 coats to get the coverage I wanted but these holos dry fast and apply easier than the CG Kaleidoscopes so bonus points there.
All I can say is WOW! I SO LOVE THESE POLISHES! Super blingy in the sunlight and still look good in low-light (something you can't really say about CG Holos). Seriously, the more coats you apply the better they get and they dry fast so it's no big deal. Just can't stop staring at my gorgeous nails when I wear these!
I only wish they made holos in darker/richer/vampy/gem-tone colors. I'd buy a truck-load of them!!
Oh, and Milani seriously needs to rethink their bottles. Not that I've had any 'accidents'... yet!... but their bottles can tip over pretty easily.
