This product is made to be put on lips before bed to improve them over night. It stays on for a long time and its always still on when I wake up in the morning.
It's towards the pricey end for lip balms but you don't need to apply much and it lasts for ages. I really like the texture, its really nice, smooth and creamy on. I bought this because I had REALLY bad dry, cracked lips at the time and after using this for 2-3 days (re-applying whenever I needed it throughout the day too) my lips were back to normal. I will be buying this again.

Just bought my second one of this product. Absolutely adore it. I used it all throughout the winter, right before I go to bed, and I didn't have chapped lips once! This product will last you pretty long, depending on how much and how often you use it. Some people might consider it as quite expensive for a lipbalm but it truly makes your lips soft and smooth, whereas most lipbalms will put a glossy layer on your lips but don't do anything other than that. Well worth it's money!

I'll admit that I did not have high hopes for Kiss Me Tonight. While I like Philosophy's product line in theory, very few of their products actually live up to the hype. I was kind of desperate when I bought this because my lips were extremely chapped so much so that my bottom lip was splitting and bleeding. Not pretty and painful as all get out. I very rarely get chapped lips but when I do, it takes a miracle to heal them.

The first time I used this, I applied it before bed (as instructed, I believe). The texture surprised me because it is very soothing and smooth instead of thick and greasy. I figured most of it would be wiped off while I thrashed about in my sleep but surprisingly, I could still feel it on my lips when I woke up the next morning. The splitting on my bottom lip had also stopped hurting and was nearly healed. The rest of my mouth felt super soft and smooth. Since that time, I have experienced a few bouts of majorly chapped lips and Kiss Me Tonight never fails to heal them right up. This really does work overnight! As for smell, I detect a vague bit of vanilla but the balm has no taste. While this is marketed as "intense", it's not super greasy and it doesn't just sit on top of your lips. It sort of sinks in at some point but it still makes its presence know.

While this is an awesome lip balm, there are a few downsides. One, it's a tad on the expensive side. I think it is regularly sold for $20 but the amount you get will last quite a long time unless you decide to slather it on your body (and why would you?). Two, it is housed in a jar which means you either have to use your finger or a lip brush for application. Some people find the old dipping-fingers-in-the-jar to be icky and unhygienic but since I only use this at bedtime and don't carry it around with me for mid-day use, I don't mind dipping a clean finger in the tub. The jar itself is the typical plastic variety that Philosophy uses for just about all their products. Pretty sturdy and basic.

Overall, this is one of the better Philosophy products that actually lives up to the hype - or at least their own product description. This balm is intense and it does deliver which makes the $20 price tag a little easier to deal with. I haven't found anything cheaper that is as comfortable to wear or heals as quickly so I would likely buy it again.

If you have very, very dry lips like I do, and struggled to find a chapstick/balm that would last, you have to give this product a try.
I tried so many balms, and great ones: Sugar, Burt Bees, Aquaphor even. Aquaphor gave me a strange reaction, and every other balm I've ever used in life only kept my lips moisturized for a few hours at a time.
I read that some women had tried this balm not just as a nightly treatment, but throughout the day. And wow, this is the only balm that's ever worked for me. I couldn't be more pleased with it (ignoring the price tag— but hey, it's worth it.)

Okay so I have a very bad habit of biting my lips when they are dry...ofcourse further aggravating the situation (shame on me) . Anyways a friend of mine told me to try this and I am so glad I did. I prefer this to the Sugar brand lip balms ( which are more expensive and melt like crazy--- maybe the weather here?). I have been using this as a night treatment and honestly my lips haven't looked better. It moisturizers well and my fine lines are less visible. Effective + decently priced = repurchase . =)

This Lip Therapy Balm totally made a believer out of me. I remember when I was first asked to purchase this for a friend of mine. I was expecting something way bigger. I mean for the price when I saw its size, I thought it was too expensive. The woman assisting me convinced me to purchase two since I figured it would not last my friend long. When I gave it to her she said she didn't need the extra and said I could return it instead but she told me I should at least try it. So I did, so here I am almost a month later of using it and I think I have fallen in love! This Lip Therapy Balm is now one of my HGs. Which believe me is rare for me. It moisturizes really well, it smells good, and despite the packaging being really small, it surprisingly lasts so long. I use this at night after I wash up and it keeps my lips moisturized, smooth and soft till the next day. I also love the way it helps in restoring the pinkish appearance of my lips. I am really glad I gave this a try. I will definitely be repurchasing this, it's now actually a must for me. Don't let the price turn you off ladies, give this product a chance and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I have found an HG--that's not easy. I have Burt's Bees lip balm sticks all over the house, and--gulp--I think I've found something I love even more. This little pot of gold is it; without a doubt the most soothing balm my lips have ever felt. It sits on my coffee table, and I massage this in every night while I'm watching TV. My lips are actually plumped a bit--incredibly soft and smooth by morning. Don't let the price of this pot deter you from buying it...it lasts forever. This sounds ridiculous, but I use one finger from each hand to massage the balm on, then smooth whatever's left onto my elbows. I've got the softest, smoothest elbows on the East Coast. This balm works far better than my LaMer balm for half the cash. Burt's Bees can go into my handbag for use during the day, but my nights are strictly reserved for Philosophy...

My lips are actually chapped as we have airconditioning all over Singapore. It became dry and needed to be moisturized. I found this at Sephora. Philosophy was just recently launched and I accidentally tried this one and I immediately felt that my lips feels nice, comfortable, and hydrated. It is highly emollient. It's color is light pink but you will not see it when you put it on. I put it on at night before going to bed so when I wake up, my lips are just nice and soft :) The only thing I don't like is the price. Too steep for a lip balm but it lasts forever. Will repurchase but I hope there are good deals :)

This is the best moisturising lip balm I've ever owned, but I gave it a 4 because I don't really like the smell of it. Some people do though. It just smells a bit like play dough which brought back bad memories of me as a kid, seeing play dough and thought it would be a good idea to eat it!!

My lips are very cracked, wrinkly, peeled and dry. I have "thicker-than-average" lips and valine and carmex don't really do much to help at all. I tried a bit of my friend's one on my very "skin-peeling" lips before bed time and fell in love instantly, it was the only lip balm that had my lips soft the next morning. Vaseline just doesn't do that, if I put vaseline onto my "skin peeling" lips it just sits there without sinking in at all. Anyway, I immediately ran to get it that day and finished the pot real quick too.

To conclude, this lip balm is really good to be used in private. I wouldn't want to kiss someone with it on (hey, it's called "Kiss Me Tonight" right?), he will probably think I've just stuff play dough down my throat for dinner.

I really like this balm. It's very emollient and it seems to just sink in to my lips. The smell is very light and the balm itself is not overly greasy (like Vaseline). It has no colour either. I use it at night.

The only weird thing about it is after a few months I noticed it looks like its pilling in the container. It doesn't really affect application, it's just a little odd.

Anyway I will definitely repurchase.

There is something in this product that I am allergic to. This has never happened to me before with any lip products, ever. My upper lips got really dry, bumpy, itchy and painful.

A little goes a long way! Great for use as a lip treatment (overnight) or as a daily lip moisturizer. It really sinks in and moisturizes! Carmex, Blistex and other misc medicated balms can't touch this! Also after it wears away the lips don't crave a reapply, they're actually moisturized! Won't break out the skin around your lips when used liberally and doesn't smell or taste like anything. I use this in combination with the Kiss Me night scrub whenever the dry Vegas air get sto my lips and starts making lipstick look flaky! 5 lippies, and would recommend as a secret santa gift or present for any lucky lady (esp. in combo with the Kiss Me lip scrub by Philosophy) Can be bought super cheap via eBay!

I'll start out by saying that after I used this (for the first time) I noticed that it stays on longer and feels a lot "heavier" (in a good way, not runny and it doesn't "melt" off) I used this about an hour ago and it feels as if I just put it on (even after drinking some pop)

The only thing I don't like about this is having to put it on with my finger, as it comes in a glass bowl type thing. It is quite expensive, but doesn't take much on each application. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, go for ELF's Theraputic Conditioning Balm. It only costs a dollar, and OF COURSE doesn't work quite as well, but it is very good.

LOVE this lip balm. I am a lip biter and this fixes my lips overnight. Not sticky and really absorbs into the skin. Also won't break you out if it migrates onto the skin around your mouth.

Product - Translucent pink lip balm in a pot. Wears with no noticeable color or tint. Has a very subtle, barely detectable scent. Firm to the touch but softens upon contact with warm fingertips and pretty much melts on lips (kinda like the texture of butter?). Feels lightweight and moisturizing, yet not greasy or oily. I have to put something on my lips every night without fail or they revert back into a chapped peeling mess. Results are good - I saw noticeable improvement in the texture of my lips after just a few nights. The only odd thing I noticed is that the disturbed surface of the balm gets spots of white as though from crystallization - looks like fuzz balls (pilling) on a sweater - but it does not affect performance.

Packaging - Comes in a clear plastic/acrylic pot with black screw top lid. Retails for $20. I would like to see this offered in lipstick-tube packaging too.

Overall - My favorite lip treatment; maybe a little pricey but this one is worth it for me.

I LOVE this stuff! It lives up to the Philosophy hype! It goes on super slick and STAYS on. I can go to sleep at night and wake up with silky smooth lips! Definately worth the price, especially if you can get a combo deal.

Color me impressed! My usual Nuxe lip balm wasn't quite cutting it for me this winter (it seemed to just sit on my lips no matter how much I exfoliated), so I thought I'd give this a whirl. It's a thick, pinkish (although there's no color on the lips) balm in a jar. It's firm to the touch, but not so firm that you can't pick it up easily with a finger to apply it. The balm thins out a bit after application, but really penetrates, plumping up (although it doesn't claim to to) fine lines and smoothing out the lip surface. It's got some staying power, too. It has a *very* faint peppermint scent and taste that is truly barely noticeable, and it's SPF-free. It's pricey at $20 for 0.3 oz., and although I hate balm in pots, I'll make an exception for this since I'll only use it at home as a night treatment. I don't think this product would be to everyone's taste (lipbalm preference is almost a personal as perfume, IMHO), but it's solving my problem, so I'm happy with it. I would buy it again if I ran out, but that's unlikely since you need so little to do the job.
