HOLY BRIGHT! Fun color for summer but for a conservative day look at the office? No way. I put down that I wouldn't repurchase but only because this won't get as much use as my daily colors, i.e. Wine Room.

I am a fan of the Wet n Wild mega last lipcolor line. I have it in 4 or 5 colors and am itching to get more. Smokin hot pink is a raspberry toned hot pink that looks pretty applied like a stain over balm and blended out, and also as a matte full pop lip color or with gloss layered on top. I find the color wearable and versatile. The color is long lasting, I think I can go about 4-5 hours without needing a touch up. It does leave behind a slight stain.

The key to handling the formula on these lipsticks is definitely application and the condition of your lips. I like to use a clear lip liner with most matte lipsticks. I also always prep my lips with vaseline or chapstick and let it soak in for 20 minutes before applying lipcolor. I don't wear this line if my lips are chapped/flaky.

The packaging is cheap and flimsy. I have scraped the sides of the lipstick with the cap because the lipstick itself doesn't actually retract all the way down. But these are very affordable and the product itself is good enough that the flimsy packaging doesn't bother me too much.

This is a very fun color, bright & cheerful but i ended up giving it to my daughter because pink is more her style than mine.

What can I say? I LOVE this color and this lipstick. I bought it at Target and loved it so much that I went back and bought two more back ups. Love love love.

First I want to say that as far as a whole I LOVE THESE WET N WILD LIPSTICKS! But I don't get this one.Since there so cheap (price wise, not formula) I'm slowly buying them all, walgreens has certain colors of these right now for .99. But this doesn't look good on me. I'm extremely cool toned. Warm tones NEVER EVER work on me. What's weird is everytime I pick it up in the store, I can see some hot pink tone to it. But then I come home and I put it on, and I see absolutely no pink. I'm sure natural lighting in a walgreens is going to show a more accurate tone but even outside on me, I just don't see it! I don't think I have ever had more trouble with a lippie in my life, lol! But if u think the color works on your skin tone, I SAY GO FOR IT! These are some def awesome little lipsticks. This color just doesn't cut it for me.

Nice color, but for some reason...these reddish pinks always make me look like a clown. I love a bright lip, but these type of shades just make me feel silly.

Will not repurchase.

Very pigmented, quite long lasting, not too drying, without a scent or taste. The color bothers me a bit, on my lips this appears more like a red than a pink which is pretty weird since my lips are not very pigmented. I have enough red lipsticks already so I was kind of disappointed with this purchase but it is still a great value for money.

I'm surprised there aren't any more reviews on this lipstick!! Anyways I gotta admit I used to just be just a red lipstick kinda girl, but then I decided to try going for the hot pink look, and I gotta say.. I love it! This is a beautiful bold pink color that glides on very easily and the color is very opaque.Overall I really love this color, I get compliments every single time I wear it! If you love wearing bold pink lips, this is a must! Oh and btw to make it a little shinier I pair it with Revlon's lipgloss in "pink pop"!

These lipsticks are unbelievable. $2.99 is a steal for their quality. I picked this one up as a gamble; I wasn't sure if it was going to look too bright or gaudy on me, and I wasn't sure about the quality. Well, all of my qualms were resolved after I tried it on.
After my lip balm, not only was I treated to rich, smooth, full-coverage color, but after I wipe it off, my lips feel supple and smooth. How's that for a three-dollar drugstore matte lipstick? Ha!
This shade in particular is quite beautiful. It's a bold, hot pink that seems like it could be flattering on most fairer skintones. When toned down, it gives lips a healthy pink color. When a clear gloss is applied, it becomes much richer and deeper (not in shade, but in color intensity).
The only problem I have with these lippies is the craptastic packaging. The tube is so flimsy and cheap and I'm afraid I'm gonna break it just by looking at it. But I guess their money went into what's inside, not outside.
Welp, looks like I'm going to the store ASAP to pick up more of these. Heehee. Wet 'n Wild has reeeeaallyy outdone themselves.

Bought this on a whim, because I heard many good things not only about Wet N Wild's eyeshadows, but also about their lipsticks. It's my first time actually having a lipstick that doesn't have a creamy texture to it when you touch the bullet or when you apply it; the lipstick's bullet reminds me more of a crayon than anything else. The pigmentation is ridiculously pigmented; just one swipe and voila, color!

One main bone I have to pick on is that because of its crayon-texture, it's very uncomfortable to have on because it just does not moisturize or feel nice to have on your lips. It makes your lips feel extremely dry.

Also, when you try to wipe it off, it won't come off... it'll get all over your face, and make you look a vampire because of the red stains all over your mouth. And it won't easily come off either! However, it'll probably last you the whole day.

I don't really understand the name because it's far from "Smokin' Hot Pink." It is a bit more berry-colored.

Packaging is sorta acceptable - feels cheap and it isn't the cutest packaging in the world. My least favorite part was that the revolving part at the bottom to make the lipstick come out of the tube a bit more wasn't functioning too well.

Overall, it was much better than what I was expecting. Pigmentation is very important to me, and that's what it gave. Will be buying more.

Very drying on my lips, my lip lines are highly visible and I usually get nude-peach colors so I was expecting this to be my change. Did not work for me, and it's very hard to get off.

I did not like this lipstick AT ALL!! I saw a review that said it was WOC friendly and I had to have it. I am looking for a dupe, any dupe of MAC's Strawberry Blonde lipgloss and I will try any warm pink suitable for WOC. This lippy is too dry and this colour looks garish on me. To put it bluntly, I looked like a clown!! I am not afraid of bright colours, but this is probably still too cool for me. It also accentuated every line in my lips. I do not like the texture of these. Prestige has something similar that I prefer.

The name confuses me, because I wouldn't consider this hot pink at all. it's more of a hot raspberry on my lips. it gives great coverage, lasts a long time and doesn't dry out my lips.

I don't care for the packaging because the 'bullet' sticks up out of the tube and gets nicked on the cap if you're not careful.

I also don't like the shape of the bullet. it's a bit big for my petite lips and requires careful application if you don't use a lip brush.

After reading the reviews here on MUA I thought I'd be a bit more adventurous outside the safe neutrals I usually go for. Though in person the shade made me hesitate I am a fan of bright colors and since I've had to pinch pennies lately I thought it'd be worth a shot and cheaper than my beloved MAC. Wore this yesterday with a neutral taupe and gold eye and all I can say was that it was a great shade for the Easter holiday! This is a shade on the lighter end of a magenta hot pink but as the day went on I am positive that this stuff gets brighter after a couple hours of wear! I think ,though I'm not totally sure ,that's a bonus. ; ) I think. lol! The wear of this lipstick is fantastic. Lasted through snacks, many cups of tea and coffee plus the Easter meal. It is a slight bit dry so I have to apply lip balm before applying the lipstick so that it glides on better and doesn't dry my lips out. Also I noticed that after wiping off the lipstick from the rim of the coffee cup I was drinking from that ,I think, the lipstick stained the cup as the pink did not totally come off the cup. I'l have to check the cups next time I'm at my MIL's to make sure but I can say that this lippy is REALLY pigmented and the color stays on all day so that's a good thing. I got this on sale for 40% off so it was a nice cheap treat. I've already bought a total of 5 lipsticks from the Mega Last line and I'm really liking them. I've been looking at this line for new lipsticks lately as I can't afford to splurge on department store makeup when it comes to common shades of lipstick unless it's a shade that really grabs my attention. I hope that WnW keeps this colorful shade trend up. I and my wallet, and my lips, are very happy!

I am pleasantly surprised by this lipstick. I started using makeup in the 80's when WnW was horrible!! So, the brand doesn't exactly make me think of quality, but I'm happy with the purchase. I wouldn't exactly call the formula "smooth", but it isn't bad for a matte l/s. (It isn't as smooth as my MAC mattes.) I can apply this by dabbing it on as a stain or going a little heavier and topping w/ a little gloss to make it creamier and it's perfect!

The color is the BEST part of this lipstick. (Aside from the super cheap price!) It's a clear bright pink. I'm pretty fair and warm toned (NC15) and I didn't want a pink w/ too much blue. This is perfect! It isn't really warm or cool, but a perfect true pink. It also isn't too bright when used lightly. I saw this worn online by a lot of darker skinned girls and wondered if I could pull it off. On me, the color is bright but not over the top. I'm not a bold lippie kind of girl and this is the perfect pink for a look focused on the lip, but that won't scream "HEY! Look at me!". I'm also not a youngster anymore, so this color is still appropriate for us mature girls...even in the daytime. You'll be surprised. Don't let the name fool you!

I would highly recommend this color to anyone!

Love this color! It's a pure deep pink with no shimmer. I use it as a wash for a nice bright lip stain. It gives my face a subtle flush and makes my teeth look whiter! I don't see what the big deal is with the packaging, I think it looks nicer than the old ones.

Love love these lipsticks! If you don't like Matte lipsticks, don't buy these. If you've never try a matte lipstick, and was wondering if you should, get these! I love this color. This is by far my favorite of the 4 I owned now. I am planning to buy more because they are 50% off at walgreens this week.

Anyway, they are so pigmented, apply so smooth and lasts all day. I normally use a lipbalm under my lipstick no matter what brand I am using even MAC lipsticks are drying with a balm anyway. I have medium yellow skintone and I look best in bright colors so I go for reds in the evening and pinks in the afternoon. Nudes look dead on me....I have tried many. If you put these in a Chanel tube, I will believe it's a Chanel lipstick. The quality is that great. Packaging is not so great though but it's $2.99 so no complaining.

It's such a bright pink, I love it. I love pinks and reds so I had to get this and it was not a disappointment at all. The lipstick is very pigmented and it's not so drying. It lasts all day and I didn't ever use a lip liner!
