This product really does make my lips very soft. The scent and taste are wonderful. I know they say you can actually lick this right off your lips when you're done, but I don't because I keep imagining all the dead skin that came off being in my mouth. Ew. This really helps my super duper chapped lips and makes my lipstick go on much more smoothly. I'm a fan.

Tastes so good! I could eat this stuff like candy (does a pretty good job at exfoliating also) ;)

Love this! Such a simple lip scrub that works really well. I use it every few days to exfoliate my lips and its great. I don't get that gross dry lip look with my lipstick any more! Sure you could make this yourself but this is so much more convenient. Would definitely repurchase and its great that there are a few flavours to choose from.

I have the mint flavoured scrub and really like it as I tend to bit my lips a lot when nervous and this obviously does not look good with make up so this scrub is a staple in my make up bag. Tempted to purchase the other flavours too

This worked initially, but it started to dry out my lips. When I noticed this happening I read the label and noticed that it has alcohol in it. So that's why it's so drying. I will not repurchase.

Out of the three of the scrubs, this one I enjoyed the most. The sales lady tried getting me to buy bubblegum I believe? And the scent was off putting. This scrub works really well at banishing my dry skin on my lips, I'm a bit of a licker and biter when they get chapped, so destruction takes place for sure. Even worse, I'm big on lipsticks and glosses, and when my lips are bad, it makes those impossible to use. It's why I've stayed away from bright shades or pastels. It's my plague. BUT THIS. THIS IS A HOLY GRAIL. Lemme tell you, I use this at night and it leaves them baby soft along with some balm.
And nobody can give me the good ole "use sugar and olive oil" or "use a washcloth or toothbrush" line. I've tried many things to make my lips nice. Countless lip-balms have been bought, and I only licked and bit my lips, because nothing worked. I've had this for two weeks, and my lips are no longer chapped. Every lip product glides on smoothly.

I bought this product because I saw a couple of YouTube guru using it in their am/pm skin routine. I was very sceptical and was desperate to try anything to help my chapped lips. I liked this product in the beginning, but after 2 weeks I noticed that the scrub was sucking out the moisture out of my lips. Now, I only use the scrub when I absolutely need to. I most likely won't repurchase because I can probably just make it myself.

I honestly don't know why I paid $10.00 for sugar with a mix of some flavoring. I liked this product in the beginning but after that, it just gets messy and it just doesn't do it's job anymore. Honestly, if I need an edible lip scrub, I'll be in my kitchen finding some sugar.

I am completely in love with this product! It smells nice, tastes nice, and can quickly be used. I normally use it before I go to sleep or whenever I notice dry lips before applying any lip products. You'll definitely need lip balm after using. My only complaint about the product is how much gets wastes sometimes. The best way for me to apply it is to scoop some on my fingers, and scrub it directly on my lips, obviously. I find that some of it still "misses" my lips and falls. That being said, a little bit of this scrub goes a long way, because I've had this for quite a while now. Definitely worth the money and does what it claims to do, leaves you with smooth, dry-skin-free lips.

This product smells and tastes amazing, and I really love it. The first few weeks of having this item I used it non stop, but my lips did get a little sensitive after constantly using it, and they are quite sore. I would recommend this scrub if you are looking for a scrub that you don't want to make yourself and that works well, but I would not recommend using it every day, maybe once a week.

Product comes in a small glass pot with a screw off lid. Expirary date is listed on bottom. Product definitely works well and has a nice fragrance of vanilla and chocolate. Truth be told - it is just sugar ( sugar that costs $7 CAD...) One could purchase a little jar from a craft store and mix some sugar, olive oil and vanilla extract. I won't repurchase, but I will keep the little jar and make my own scrub at home.

This product is too harsh for my lips. It causes small wounds and scratches. I will not use it anymore.

OK this definitely smells YUMMMM, like, good enough to eat YUM.
And it definitely left me with super soft lips... =D
My advice to you, however, is to save yourself the $9.95 and rip into a packet of Sugar in the Raw... A'int much of a difference except the packaging. :)

I love this, eventhough I do realise I could make this myself (without the delicious taste!). My friend has all 3 and agrees with me that you definetly do get what you pay for! In Germany this is 8,95! The packaging iis a slight problem, but how else should they do it? It smells like frosting, is like a cleanser for your lips ( use a lipbalm after!) and has in 4 days become a holy grail product for me! Some people below have talked about expension date problems, mie is 30.10.13 which is enough if I keep using it everyday.
I would recommend you to grab this quickly as LUSH is taking it out of their permanent range! So hurry, if you like the taste of frosting (Bubblegum and Mint Julips are staying so don't worry if you like those flavourings more)!

Very dry like a pot of moistened sugar. The smell is 3 stars, the result is 3.5 stars... It does the job but the dry sugar falls everywhere. Tastes pretty decent!

I've been using this lip scrub for nearly 2 years. I think I chew my lips in my sleep because I often end up with dry skin, etc. on my lips. This product banishes that!
PROS
--- a tiny bit goes a long way!
--- gently exfoliates the lips
--- tastes absolutely wonderful (chocolate & sugar! om nom nom)
--- 1 pot usually lasts me a full year, assuming I use it 2-3 times per week
CONS
--- messy to use on the go (I always use it in the shower at night)
--- the jojoba oil and sugar will separate over time, so you have to mix it
It would probably be cheaper to just make this myself since the sugar does most of the work, but I like the convenience and the flavor.

When I was 18, this would have been a product I couldn't live without. Back in the day when I regularly using a million products, a lip scrub would have been essential!
However in my current regime, I bought this on a whim during a lunch break and have used it every now and then.
Its a super gorgeous product, and I definitely support what Lush does and how they do it, but this is not a product you can't live without!
What I was really impressed with, is the product was crammed into the pot so much that you could not have fit any more in. Value for money thats for sure, I think this cost $12.
I got the vanilla & chocolate which is a scrumptious sweet treat. It also comes in mint and I can't remember the other flavour.
Although it is made of loose sugar crystals, it is held together really well with the emollient. I tend to use this after all my makeup is done, and just before applying lipstick. I have no trouble at all keeping it on my finger and not getting any fallout on my face.
You only need a tiny bit, just touch the top with your finger, to do your lips. You just rub it on and it will sort of dissolve but then you just lick the rest off and its totally fine!
Your lips will be soft, smooth, and moisturised :)
Lipstick goes on better, and lip balm soaks in better.
If you are someone who likes to exfo lips often, then this is a tasty way to do it, and fun! Much more fun than the standard toothbrush option...
More about me:

Was acne-prone for years
Foundation preference is to look as yellow as possible, absolutely nil pink

I just bought this product today and I tried it as soon as I got home. It has an amazing scent of vanilla and chocolate and tastes so good when you're applying it. I think this lip scrub is reasonably price at $8.95 compared to Sara Happ's lip scrub at $30 for the exact same thing. It made my lips super soft and smooth and the scrub isn't too rough causing irritation. I love it!
