I love this little drugstore gem!!! It feels sooo smooth on my lips and it smells like watermelons. I put this on in class and the girl sitting next to me told me that I smelled good...hahaha : )

Can't say enough about these! They are so awesome, and you can get them for so cheap! Unfortunately, I think they are being discontinued, so I am trying to hunt them down. These give the perfect color to your lips, without needing to pile on too much. The smell isn't as bad as other lip glosses, and these arent very sticky at all. Great!

LOVELY!!! These are absolutely EXCELLENT. You also get a ton of product with these because they are tall and slender. The packaging is also great because they come with a stopper in the cap that keeps them from getting messy and the gloss from squeezing out if it's smashed which is genius. I wish more companies would follow their lead. I have three of these in Chelsea Rose, Mulberry Street Mocha and Carnegie Melon. I have already did a review of the Mulberry Street Mocha. After stalking these for a few weeks, I finally decided to purchase some. My timing was perfect because when I did they were finally on sale. These are terrific. They are truly gliders. They slide across your lips like butter with ease. The Chelsea Rose and Carnegie Melon are very similar in shade, very to the point they look the same in the tube in a certain shade of light, but once outside you can see that the Carnegie Melon has more pink in it and has the most subtle of silver shimmer. I swear it's almost impossible to find a gloss with no shimmer now. These I am so pleased with, and I plan on raking up on more since I think they are being discontinued. They smelled like a fake watermelon scent which was just fine. I would rather them smell like that than have a plastic smell, a metallic smell or smell like those awful NYX glosses. These also look very pretty on my lips.I do two swipes on my bottom lip and that does it, I don't need to swipe these alot because they are very glossy. They can seem somewhat sheer but they do give your lips that perfect tint and I swear when I first tried on Chelsea Rose it literally made me smile. NYC really put their foot into making these glosses. I don't think I will try anymore of the shades besides the three that I purchased because they were the only three that appealed to me, but if I do decide to go for more, I'm sure I won't be dissapointed.

My favorite lip gloss of ALL TIME. My HG, every day lipgloss is Park Ave Pink. It compliments my lips perfectly, while giving me a subtle clearish milky pink gloss that sinks into your lips. It's like a more wearable version of Nara Turkish Delight. I just bought two new colors and adore them as well. Plaza Punch and Chelsea Rose. They're dirt cheap. I buy mine at CVS because they are like $1-2 and always buy one get one free or buy one get the second for 50% off. I can't wait to buy them all, but they're always sold out now, people must be catching on to these hidden gems! Try it girls you have nothing to lose :-) GREAT TASTE/SMELL. MOISTERIZING. PIGMETENTED. NON STICKY. JUST PERFECT.

I have this lip gloss in Riverside Rouge, a gorgeous berry color that's perfect for autumn and winter. While I'm not in love with the applicator, I think that for the money it is highly pigmented and smells lovely! I also cannot believe how the lip gloss feels - almost as if it's "moisturizing", which I never use as an adjective for a gloss - but it feels almost balm-like on my lips and not sticky in the slightest. I much prefer this lip gloss to the MAC lipglasses, which cost about 3-4X as much!

Love this! I have NEVER repurchased a lip gloss before but when my Park Ave Pink was almost gone, I had to get another one. I find it interesting that so many have said that this shade is clear because it's really not! There is a slight milkiness to it and it looks wonderful! Lasts a long time, too.

I love these lip glosses! They have such pretty colors and such staying power for their price. I have pretty much every shade of this but my favorite for my fair skin and dark hair has to be Chelsea Rose. The packaging is really convinient too. I recommend for everyone!

Bought Chinatown Cherry and Riverside Rouge. Super inexpensive at $1.49 Cdn. The scent is watermelon. I don't like any watermelon scents, but this scent is quite mild and it fades fairly quickly so I don't mind it. The shade is a light sparkly red. On my pigmented lips, it shows up as very sheer soft red and then it eventually fades to clear. The texture is really great, it's smooth and slightly thick, but not at all sticky. I cannot taste any flavour or sweetness, thank goodness. All in all, this is a worthy purchase for the price. I have spent beaucoup dollars on lip cosmetics, but no longer. With these types of deals and this kind of quality, my money will be going to something much more important -- it's never too late to change habits :)

I bought this in Park Ave Pink. Worn alone the gloss is too sticky, but when I use a lipstick as a base the gloss is very wearable.

I really do like this lipgloss from N.Y.C. I bought mine in 'Plaza Pink" and its a nice almost light berry color. It smells like melon/watermelon. (Which tastes delicious! ;) Overall I really like the lipgloss, its not sticky, it has color, and it stays on for a good amount of time. The only thing I dont like is the packaging, I wish it was just a normal wand and lipgloss tube.

Hmmm... not really a fan of this lip gloss. The shade i purchased was big apple red and the color was very sheer, it was a beautiful warm red shade but i just couldnt get over how sticky this product was, other than that this is a wonderful product, with a pleasent melon scent. I cant stand glosses that are the least bit tacky, but if thats what you perfer than this is a great gloss to try.

Right now I'm wearing Park Avenue Pink but I have others, as well. Every time I get a coupon for them, I buy one at either CVS or Rite Aide or Duane Reade. This shade initially goes on as a soft lilacky-pink but then fades to practically a clear gloss. They all have a watermelon scent to them but, for me, it doesn't last and I can't smell it when I apply. It's only when I open it that the scent hits me. It doesn't bother me in the least. No flavor, either. All in all, I would say these are terrific for weekend or "going nowhere" days - even though I'm wearing this at work right now. I love 'em and I'd like to own all of them eventually - waiting on more coupons! LOL :)
8/3/11 - I'm now wearing Mulberry St. Mocha - love, love, love. Never have I had a gloss the EXACT shade of my natural lips!! Amazing! I wish they had better staying power, though but other than that, I'm diggin' these in a MAJOR way!!

Wow! I'm such a make-up snob (not necessarily a good thing) and I picked up this gloss at Target yesterday bc I forgot my NARS at home and was going on a date. This stuff is great! It's very shiny, not super sticky, tastes fine, basically what everyone else says. I think NYC has just convinced me to give drugstore make up another chance!
I got Chelsea Rose and I want to go get more colors, and I'm seriously wanting to return my ridiculously over priced $24 NARS lipgloss back right now...

I love this lip gloss, it's extremely cheap & has the most perfect texture! This balm is slightly thick & a tiny bit sticky as another reviewer wrote. When you press your lips together they dont stick & when you run your tongue over your lips they feels as smooth as glass. There is hardly any color pay off, the color in the tube is not fully pigmented like that on your lips. You get a very sheer tinted micro- silver shimmer, glossy, look to your lips. I have Park Ave Pink & another light purple. If you want color, get a darker shade than planned or try a different lip gloss. I love the packaging on these, it is in an ultra slim soft plastic squeeze tube and the lid fits tight so no leaking. There is a plastic smooth end where the gloss comes out, and the product doesn't ooze out with this gloss, or come out too fast. What you squeeze is exactly what comes out, no more no less. There is the lightest fruity type scent of a faint watermelon (on Pink Ave Park at least) . I only taste it the first minute, after that I cant taste it. This feels moisturizing, its pretty long lasting, & just feels so good on the lips. If you like Clinique superbalms, Lancome juicy tubes, or MAC lipglass, this is the texture they SHOULD have, and is much more enjoyable than any of those! This is thick enough to last, but isn't fly trap sticky like those other glosses & it feels smooth. No color, but great lipgloss! I have never paid over $2.99 for these, usually they are on sale for $1.99. True to the name they really do "glide" on & give ultra shine. A great beginner lip gloss as well

I picked up two of these: Chelsea Rose & Park Ave Pink
I like these!
They are sheer, adding just a light hint of color and shimmer to the lips. Perfect for everyday. They are very, very shiny - not a look everyone like, but I for one am a fan.
They smell like fake watermelon - I love it. They don't taste like anything.
They are thick, a little sticky, but still manage to be slick, if that makes any sense. They feel good on my lips, and I feel like the keep my lips hydrated as well.
I like the slim packaging. They fit into my pocket, purse or book bag easily. I like the rubbery tip on it, and the cap has a stopper on it so stuff doesn't ooze when you sit on it.
I think NYC did a great job on these, and I would continue to purchase these.
I just would like to see a wider range of colors, a lot of the shades look very similar.

I own three of these lip gliders from NYC. I own Plaza Punch, Riverside Rouge, and Mulberry St. Mocha. I love them all! I love the fruity scent, the packaging, the price and the pigmentation. It's sheer, but it gives just a hint of color. Plaza Punch is a great light pinky-berry shade for everyday. Riverside Rouge is a reddish brown. I like that it gives just a hint of color on my lips. Mulberry St. Mocha is great for a nude lip which I'm really into right now. I hope the roll out more colors like peaches and corals, but other than that they are LOVE!

I purchased this in the color big apple red. It was a dollar ninety nine, very cheap. And it smells exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher. Love the sheer wash of red color but it doesn't last. I like the packaging too. Won't wear it anymore because I have an allergy to it

WOW yep ladies WOW
Definitely a must have for a quick swipe of subtle color and purrfect shine. I only purchased Park Ave Pink but will be back for others.
I purchased solely on the packaging and was pleasantly surprised at what was inside. Good product, good price and it's even BF approved for kissable, soft no stick goop ( not my words ;))
Yea NYC =)
