I love this finely milled setting powder. It is perfectly sheer and "sets" invisibly.
This lightweight powder is so sheer, it blends onto the skin without dryness.
The formula really creates a flawless finish.

The packaging has a removable cap. The powder is held in a clear container with a twist device to open and close the dispensing holes. The powder shakes out the perfect amount, it does not "spill" out so much powder that there is excess that gets wasted!

The sheer translucent color does not leave a shimmery fake affect. I also lightly swipe it over my lids and lashes before applying mascara.

One of the best setting powders I've used! I love the Ageless Minerale foundation, and this translucent powder is great too. It has a nice radiance to it, it fills pores and lines and makes the skin look flawless! It makes the foundation look less cakey and more natural with a glow!

This product is my HG setting powder. Everytime I try something new, it doesn't give me the same glowy effect. I use this over my foundation to set it and it gives me a flawless look by blurring out any imperfections (as mentioned by other reviews). The packaging comes with a sifter in which you can turn the dial to open or close the holes! Thats a huge plus for me. So I don't end up with a ton of product all over the place!!! Good thinking there Lancome! The only downside is that its only 3.5 grams or so and its over $40 here in Canada but its worth every penny!! I've used up 2 of these already and will keep on using this! HG!!!! =)

This review is for the translucent powder only. My mom got this kit and gave me the setting powder while she kept the foundation powder. This powder really is amazing. You can see a clear difference from when you put this powder on and when you only have foundation on your face. This powder makes the foundation look flawless and natural and LESS cakey! It also gives almost a glow to the face and I have oily skin so usually I avoid that, but it makes your foundation look like skin. It's a bit expensive and so if you have the money to spend on this and it's definatly the best out of all the high end setting powders I've tried but I took off a lippie because like all other setting powders, I feel like the glowy and smooth look doesn't last very long. It fades within 2 or 3 hours (and for the price I feel like it shouldn't do that) but it doesn't have that oxidized look so I guess it's no big deal. If there was a promotion on this like a gift with purchase or something, I'd repurchase. But I want to try some drugstore brands first to see if there is anything that works just as well and I'll use this powder for special occasions only.

This is a great setting powder, not just for mineral foundation but for liquid foundation as well. It truly does help blur imperfections and decreases the appearance of fine lines.

Ageless Minerale is part of the mineral foundation line from Lancome. This is the setting powder, not one of the actual foundations. It is meant to set foundation and keep oil from creeping in. As such, it does a fantastic job. I have normal-dry combo skin, but typically get a bit shiny towards the end of the day. I find that when I use this powder, that isn't a problem for me. That being said, it isn't drying at all. I don't feel any tightness or itchiness at all, and my skin remains well-hydrated throughout the day. Imperfections seem blurred with this, fine lines are not as noticeable, and there is no caking...it applies very lightly.

The only thing I don't like is the packaging. The insert with the holes inside the jar has a special twist lid that only allows the holes to open in half the lid. This simply does not allow enough product to come out at a time for me. Maybe I'm just impatient, but I can't stand to tap, tap, tap forever and a day just to get enough powder in the lid to apply to my face. I finally took the insert out and just dip my brush into the powder, then tap the brush against the side of the jar. That has made it much easier and faster for me.

Other than the minor packaging quibble I have with this product, I have to say that Ageless Minerale is one of the best powders I've tried. Truly transluscent, yet it does just what it needs to do...mattifies, keeps oil away, and polishes both the skin and the makeup. Great product! Will repurchase.
