This is one of my favourite lip gloss shades. It's such an intricate combination of gold and pink. It looks great on!

I typically don't like to use lipstick … I haven't mastered application without a mirror. So mostly I stock up on Lipglasses. But Lip Lacquer is a happy marriage of gloss and lipstick. Varneesh is such a gorgeous shade and it really plays well on my naturally pigmented lips - my favorites are pinkish mauves, so this fits right into my palette. Sometimes I'll wear this to work but it's also good for a night out. I like the brush applicator - it's soft but can get pretty precise. It's creamy like gloss but pigmented like lipstick. Its texture is more like a lipstick - not as sticky as Lipglass. For reference I'm an NC30 / Shiseido O40.

I just got this in the mail today an wore it, and I have to say that I am head over heels for it. It's a beautiful pink color that is moderately dark without apparent frost or odd brown tones in it. My skin is very light, and so I was worried that I would be unable to handle the color. I was very wrong. It's beautiful with light skin. The tube is about 1/3 larger than a lipglass which made me extremely happy. The brush is wonderful, and the formula is AMAZING. It stays on my lips for a while and is not nearly as sticky as the lipglass. I love this! Definitely going to repurchase.

I bought this a long time ago and then sent it to the back of the drawer when I started doing a more strong and emphasized lip and less emphasized eyes, When I started doing a smokey eye again I pulled it back out of my drawer and fell in love all over again. I'm just sorry I left it to gather dust for so long. Every girl should have this!!

I stumbled across this last week & it was exactly what I have been looking for, without knowing it! Its a beautiful pinky-goldy-rose colour, quite neutral. Its just fabulous really. I find I only need to reapply once during the work day, so for me it lasts. The price is right too. Definate re-purchase if I ever run out.

Love this, it's a staple. Would look good on yellowish and pale complexions. It's very versatile, I usually amp it up a bit with Subculture lipliner. Pretty pinkish brown that won't wash you out and great staying power. Love love love.

I LOVE Varneesh. It looks great over Viva Glam V or Hug Me l/s.
I can't say anything about this product that hasn't already been said, but if you don't already own it, go get it!

This product is excellent. As already mentioned, it isn't long lasting, but the color is a really nice neutral, peachy pink. It looks really good when you're playing up your eyes and you just want something pretty and simple on the lips.

This is my first MAC Lacquer purchase and I am definitely impressed although the staying power isn't miraculous! I bought this a few days ago and I can't stop wearing it! I love this light peachy pink color! It doesn't look that interesting in the tube but the color stands out when you wear it!

I love varneesh! This is my HG laquer. I wear this almost everyday. Its shiny like a lipglass but thinner, it lasts a long time, and the color is really gorgeous.

I bought this because it was recommended by In Style Magazine for my caramel colored skin tone (I'm an NC43). At first I didn't think I would like it because it seemed so light against my skin, and I started to shop around for a lipliner to darken it up. But, I was going out one night and gave it a try without a liner and with a darker, almost smokey eye -- looked great. The beigey color deemphasized my lips while directing attention to my eyes, but at the same time, gave me a polished look. It is a pinky - beige pearly color and I'll definitely be wearing it again.

What can I say, this is a great product. Got it as a gift for Christmas and I love it! The colour is a great neutral. The best part is the applicator, I hate the spongey applicator like the one in the lip glass, but this one is like an actual brush and it works great! I'm almost done mine, and I would definately repurchase!

I actually love the packaging because the tip is a brush and not a hard doefoot like the Lipglass. I have to say that this goes on smoother than the Lipglass. With both products though, you NEED to put on a lip balm like Lip Conditionar. I use the Lip Conditioner or Strawberry Rosebud Salve before my lip conditioner. For the price though I'd want it to be more moisturizing but oh well. If your lips are still dry after using this stuff you might want to exfoliate them then give it another whirl.

I really like the color but the packaging makes this just a big mess! It goes on a lot more "goopier" than the lipglass. Pretty color though but it is so sticky!

this is a gorgeous peachy-nude color on my pigmented lips. i love the consistency and the brush. took off one lippie because it can be a tad frosty for my liking. a perfect pair for dramatic eyes.

I had never tried any of the laquers and never really wanted to. Then an MA got me to try Varneesh and I can't believe how much I love it! For me, it's the perfect rosy-nudish lip. Perfect with smoky eyes but doesn't wash me out. Looks boring in the tube, but fantastic on the lips.

This is my first lacquer given by my cousin and it's sooo pretty! I'm asian nc30 and over dark lippies, it gives off a polished look. Alone or with nude liner, it is just plain sexy. Would've have given it a perfect 5 rating if it wasn't for the stickiness. But I'm still loving it!

This has been a staple of mine for years.I love the pinky,peachy,beige on me. I like the brush applicator and the high shine shimmery effect. I wear this alone sometimes on top of a dark lipstick and gives me that vavavoom effect. The lasting power isn't that great. But the texture is smooth not sticky and tacky. Will I buy this again? Yes, over and over.It's one of those I reach for when I can't pick a color.

I personally didn't care for this lip color, too much shimmer for my taste and the color didn't look great on me. I prefer Klish Klash Lip Lacquer but they stopped selling it :( I can see why some people loved it though, if you have the right coloring I think it would work beautifully on you. Too shimmery for me though.
