Honestly this is an over-glamorized kaboodle. Way over priced. About the 3rd time using it I started hearing a strange buzzing sound and static which I believe is a bad connection somewhere in the wiring. Its really sturdy and zips which feels very secure. I like the trays that slide out however one is a little loose and it tilts some. Overall it works great for what its made for I just think its overrated. The makeup that came with it was absoulutly wonderful and I love all of the Stila products I have tried. It is a great travel companion, but save your money on a travel carrier, and spend it on their makeup. :D

Love, love, love this thing, it's so cool!!! I'll be honest, I got an insane deal. Stila had a cyber Monday sale and I got the makeup player with the free make up for $25. Based on reviews, I expected it to be really small. I did not buy it with the intention of housing my whole stash. So the size (10"x10") exceeded my expectations. The speaker system gets pretty loud and not distorted from what I can tell, but I also wasn't playing music with a lot of bass so we'll see. The batteries are included. I'm excited to play with the make up and see if any of it will make it into my regular rotation. The eyeshadow trio is really pretty. It comes loose in the clear packaging (awesome because it's going in my Z Pallette) and with an aluminum casing to pop it into. I will use it to replace one of my old cardboard ones. I frequently go on weekend trips with my friends and do their make up before we go out. I always have to drag my Ipod speaker system into the bathroom or plug in my blackberry. Both end up hogging an outlet that could be used for curling irons or hair dryers. I can't wait to travel with this and see how much easier it makes things. :)

I love this kit. You get a gorgeous train case that works as an sound system for your mp3 player w/ a dvd for a natural look makeup tutorial using the products, a grapefruit lipgloss, one-step foundation (shade fair 01), cc in camilia, and goddess trio eyeshadow for $70 plus tax. I hav e not looked at the tutorial so I can't comment on that, but I have plugged in my mp3nplayer and the speakers are decent. I'll probably just use it to play music when I'm getting ready. I love the gloss, hate the click-pen packaging. I loved the old holiday sets that used the dual doe-foot. Got so many colors and fruity scents with none of the click-pen drama, but I digress. The foundation has been a good one for the summer heat as my MAC studio tech was feeling too heavy. Gives medium coverage with a lightweight feel. Shade fair 01 is a perfect match for my nW15 skintone. The convertible color in Camilia was a good suprise as I thought at first that it was too brown, but it comes out a light rosy-beige. I like it under my LORAC Rose or MAC Blushbaby to up the rosy glow. The eyeshadow trio is awesome, as stila really does have the nicest eyeshadows with the best finish and pigmentation. The goddess trio consists of a light beige pink shimmer, a warm bronzey brown shimmer, and a gold shimmer. So pretty on my blue-green eyes! I love the kit and am glad I bought it as I needed a better case for traveling. However, I would not use this case as an everyday holder for my makeup as it's too small for my stash. If you do not have a train case already or have a small stash you need to store, I'd pick this up. The produc t are a great bonus, esp. if you don't own these colors already.

I do like this, because of the idea itself. When I am on the go I do listen to my music while doing my makeup. It is very easy to use, and with the products you recieve you are actually not spending that much. The traincase itself is very sleek looking and the speakers are quite loud. It is nice, because I do download tutorials from youtube onto my ipod so I can watch them if I have to when doing my makeup. It is a great idea and I would suggest getting one if you can.
One problem is that is not that big, so do not try stuffing it to the brim
