I haven't actually bought this, but the SA always put this on my troubled skin area every time I went there to shop, or have a facial treatment. However, this product did have an effect. It may sting a little bit when applied on the slightly opened acne, but this product works on my acne. Also, this product can be applied even after using make-up, so it can be reapplied again anytime we want to. I want to buy it, but I decided to buy the lip gloss first before I buy this.
Will definitely purchase this soon.

This product is good in the sense that it is clear, does not smell, drys fast on skin and doesn't stain clothing.

unfortunately the quality in terms how well it works isnt as good as drugstore brand blemish creams such as Clean and Clear Persa-gel 10 for example.

You pay a lot of money for a small tube (which is comfortable to use btw) only 15ml , .5fl.oz.

I have used this together with the Pureness Anti-Shine refreshing lotion as-well.

personally i would not go back to Shisedo for any blemish treatment products after using this line.
I'll stick to drugstore brands for now and save myself the stress and cash :)

I went through 3 tubes of this in the worst of my acne prone days and it's really too little product, and not a particularly good one at that, to justify the price. It scarred me every time I used it and I finally decided that I shouldn't be spending so much for such a mediocre gel and switched to my current one that I've been using for 2 years.

I read the rewievs here before I bought this product, I am obsessed with the pureness series' all products and now thşs one is added :) ı was not sure it would work but it does. believe me.. I have mixed skin type, during my period I have 3-4 acnes and this prevented them for the last time. So I will probably buy this again.

I love this, it is make up friendly, and the skin absorbs it really quickly, so I can apply as many touch ups throughout the day over my make up. It is not too harsh yet it does the trick. it dries out my acne quicker than many other thick, harsh pharmacy products. Cannot go without it.

Edit:
I am on my third tube. It really works like a dream.

Great blemish gel! It's not drying but manages to deal with nasty pimples. It absorbs into the skin immediately and does not leave a film like other similar gels do. Will repurchase without a doubt!

This really worked well for me. It says to apply this 3-4 times a day, but I only do it twice, once in the morning and once and night, and it works really good! Even the nasty pimples go away after one day of use! The only thing I don't like is the packaging, very hard to get the product out.

I used this product for 18 years (since I was a teenage). Always regretted it when i switched brand. One thing to watch out for is not to use it near our eye. Because the formular helps dry up your acne so they go away faster, it can make you look like you have fine lines if you use it near your eye even you are in your 20's and not suppose to develop any fine lines yet. I have sensitive/combo skin and this product does not give me any problem. It just helps my pimples to go away faster. A little dab goes a long way. One bottle last me over a year.

This product is just okay. The stinging affect makes you slightly hopeful that it is fighting those nasty, unwanted spots but it takes a few days for them to go down. In New Zealand this costed $44 which is incredibly expensive for just an 'okay' product. I love the rest of the Shiseido Pureness range but this is not such a great product.

Doesn't really work. I used the product twice a day. Like some of the reviewers already said, it only has 0.5% salicylic acid, so maybe that's why it's ineffective.

Paying $22.00 was not worth it for this bottle, I used it for 2 months but I returned it because I don't think it's worth the price at all! For $22.00 you can get 5 of Clean and Clear's Persa Gel -- Benzel Peroxide at 10% -- this will zap away your zits over night, not Shisedo's blemish clearing gel. This bottle did nothing for the discoloration, bumpiness of the zit or skin deep! Save your $22.00 and get real benzol peroxide

This is not effective for cystic acne (Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion works better). It does dry up smaller flare ups however. I like that it is easy to dispense only a small amount. When you apply it there is a slight tingling. It's rather expensive $16 for such a small amount, but it does last several months since it's only for spot treatment.

Not happy! This was one of the first Shiseido products I used. It did absolutely nothing! :-( My pimples did not budge. They remained the same. This is like splashing water on my pimples...

my mom insisted on purchasing this when i still had a lot of acne even though i thought paying $18 for a acne gel was crazyyy. I've tried many other ones and they are all pretty similiar to me. It did dry up my pimple the very next day, but again, almost all acne gels do that, and paying &18 for is just not worth it >.<

I used to use this product with my Zeno. I'd zap with Zeno then put this on and it'd work great. On smaller spots I'd use it without the Zeno and it'd help dry the spot out, but not erase it completely.

Last year my skin turned very sensitive and I had to stop using it since it would leave faint 'burn' marks. These marks were darker then what the spot would usually leave and lasted for much longer then marks on my skin usually do. ( I had to stop using Zeno to but that is another review).

I love Shiseido and didn't want to believe that it was this product that was leaving the odd shaped blotches on my skin, but after much trial and error I realised it was the culprit.

Therefore I believe that this is a good product, not a miracle worker. However those with very sensitive skin should be careful when using it since it may burn your skin.

Having repurchased numerous times over the years I'm sorry to say I will not be purchasing again due to the change in my skin tolerance level.

While I'm one of the lucky ones without full blown pimples problems (only black n white heads..) About one or two does pop up one in a while esp just before my period, and they are painful...

However after using this product they tends to be gone within a couple of days give or take... the only things is that you have to apply it at least 3-4 times a day. But hey!! it work!!

(I also found that if you treat it fast enough, the pimple usually goes away before it get really big, but keeping your face clean is very important to make this cure work as well).

Sooo.... 2 days before the BIG DATE, I had 2 blemishes popped up on my chin and forehead... and very sadly, it was HUGE and VERY NOTICABLE... nooooooooooooooo........
On that night, I went out for a cup of coffee with my friend and she saw my pimples and suggested me to use this blemish targeting gel from Shiseido. and since it was late at night, I borrow hers for a small amount. I applied it on my pimples and went to bed. and the next day, Voila! my pimples were reduced its size in 1/4!
I was so pleasantly suprised and of course, so happy. ^_______^
Thanks to my friend/Shiseido pureness blemish targeting gel,
I could get rid of those 2 blemishes out of my face before the BIG DATE. :)
Yay!
+ It stings a little bit when I applied it.
++ This review might sounds like one of those cheesy commercials but it's a true story! lol

I have combination skin and the occasional breakout. This did absolutely nothing to eliminate or prevent breakouts. I tried applying one then two thenthree times a day and still no results. Honestly, I have gotten better results from drugstore products at a fraction of the price. The only redeeming thing is the packaging, which is convenient, and the lack of smell/color.
