I love this colour on me. I can use it like a stain or go full on.

I would like to start off by saying, it is spelled 'Impertinente' and I had a hard time trying to find this review, lol. This was part of Chanel's Spring 2010 'Les Impressions de Chanel' collection. I bought Incognito as well which is a light muted pink, but this color stood out to me since it looked so rich in the tube. It is a red-based plum with a hint of rose in it to keep it from becoming too 'vampy' and dark. On my medium pigmented lips, this shows up as a gorgeous medium berry (the red tones don't show up on me at all). There is no shimmer, you can wear this shade sheer or build up the color by simply adding more.
As with all Rouge Allures, these are very smooth and light on the lips while giving rich pigment as well as a slight sheen. I find these to be more hydrating than the Rouge Coco line. This lasts about 3 hours on me (and trust me, nothing lasts on my lips) without drying out my lips. The casing is very sleek and novel, with a pen-click mechanism loaded into the case. Chanel lipsticks are the best lipsticks I have tried so far in terms of color and wear. I am imagining that this would be a gorgeous color for Fall 2010 as well. This is $37CAN.

Great shade for very fair skins and if you're looking for a red that doesn't scream garrish!!! You know it's a great shade when you put it on and have NO OTHER MAKEUP ON AT ALL and it looks fantastic on you!!!!
Brownish, reddish, plummish rose is the best way I can describe it as it's not a pure red OR plum or light shade... yet, you can wear it with reds, plums or neutrals and it will look amazing. Creamy on, there is a very very slight shimmer to it so I suppose it's a satin. I don't do shimmer or frost in my lipsticks AT ALL but can wear this with no issue.
Ladies, if you love red but as you have.. um.. gotten older (like me lol) and find that blood red/bright red is too much now, THIS is a great shade to replace it. Elegant yet sexy. WOW! :)

Since neutral lip colors are so popular now, this is a great color is you have olive skin. Most neutrals make me look washed out but this one has the right amount of color to be neutral yet not make you look like you've come out of the vault.
Again, great for olive complexions.

This is a great nude! It's part of the Chanel 2010 Spring Collection. It's the darkest of the lip shades, but is definitely still a nude, with pretty equal parts of brown and rose to it. Absolutely gorgeous on my cool, NC15 skin. Brings my lips to life but stays extremely neutral. I like to wear red lipstick most of the time, but I prefer this shade on more laid-back days or when I'm wearing a red top and red lipstick would be a bit over-the-top.
This is not a treatment lipstick by any means, yet I do feel it is relatively hydrating, and definitely not drying. It leaves a demi-satin finish. Not too shiny, but not matte. I guess that makes it more of a satin. It matches the Chanel Chocolate lip pencil quite well, although I didn't get a chance to purchase the pencil the day I got the lipstick.
I highly recommend this for light, fair and medium-toned women as a great everyday neutral. It has enough pigment to it that it also looks great for evening with a smoky, dramatic eye. Great quality, great packaging, fantastic color. What's not to love? Oh--the price, lol! But well worth it, IMO. Give it a try! You'll love it, too!
