I bought this at Walmart because I loved the light blue shade and it was only $2. I wasn't expecting much but it matched a new outfit. IT IS AWESOME!!!
I hosted a dinner party and cooked, baked, and cleaned. I also did gardening and yard work and it never chipped, even on the tips of my nails. I am so impressed. Seriously, lasted way longer for me than OPI, even without a top coat. I went back and bought six more shades!

Bought a blue green glitter called Over You for my toes. I have bad feet( bunions, big, poor nails) but this manages to make them look a bit better and for 2 bucks its a keeper. Glitter seems to hide the need to be perfectly painted on ,so thats a plus for home manicurists too,

this is one of my favorite drugstore nail polishes! the only problem i have with them is that they chip in chunks but that can easily be solved with a good top coat i use OPI top coat and it lasts for a week-ish but i change my nail color every week so a week of lasting is good enough for me but if you want it to last longer this is not for you it might last a week and half... maybe if you had a super good top coat otherwise this isn't for you. i love the packaging its so sleek and professional looking in my opinion it comes in a square glass container and the lid is silver and the brush is rather small i prefer wide big brushes. i would buy these again they have a wonderful color selection the only drugstore i have seen at was at was Walmart. they are really cheap too i can find them 3-4$

Most of the polishes I own are pure ice. They are cheap so I can buy lots of different colors. I change my nail colory every 2-3 days depending on my mood so it's nice to have many choices. I think by the time I'm done I might just have a little Pure Ice store on my vanity. I tried using the polish for a swirl manicure and didnt get the results I hoped for but I will keep trying. It's probably not the polish but the user.

I have the color "really rio"(a orange/peach shimmer). I was surprised with the quality of the polish for so cheap. many of the brand at Walmart will chip with in hours of applying it on my nails but this polish has lasted 3 days and is just barley starting to chip (keep in mind I'm not gentle with my nails and I'm always picking at things.) the polish goes on even and smooth and lasts. very good, I would absolutely buy again. other brands glob, chip, and smear. Pure Ice doesn't. =)

I have 6 of these polishes . Scream ( a dark turquoise with no shimmer ) , twinkle ( a light pinky peach with gold glitters ) , hot tamale ( a darkish shimmery orange ) , beware ( silver glitter polish , kiss me here ( a dark grey ) and , no means no ( a dark shimmery purple . I think these are really great polishes . They're cheap and come in a variety of colors . Sometimes they come out streaky but its okay . They dry quickly but dont have a nice shine to them . the majority of them are glitter or pearl or shimmer colors and I much prefer non shimmery colors. Don't get me wrong I love shimmer and glitter polishes but prefer non shimmery ones. I will purchase others but for the time being I'm gonna try out different brands .

I just purchased one of these nail polishes today, I got the one in "Gossip" it's a bubble gum pink color. I didn't like how it feels on my nails...it's kinda like I have a ton of nail polish when I just applied one coat, and the color isn't as it appears in the bottle, but I loved the shine it gives and it dries fast....but I don't think i'll buy that ever again..

Cheap nail polish and looks great in the bottle, but I found them to be real streaky. I tried outrageous, which is a great mauve that is opaque in one coat (but streaky!). I tend to wear a glitter topcoat to hide the streakiness. I also bought a sheer sparkly green that was really 'meh.'

Really, REALLY cheap (US $2) and has a huge variety of beautiful colors, but it looks better in the bottle than on your nails. The packaging is so pretty and neat, but the nail polish chips soooo easily. I have tried it with a base and top coat, without a base or topcoat, and so on but it doesn't last through the rest of the day. I personally would not recommend Pure Ice nail polish and would like to warn people: Do not be misled by how neat it looks in the bottle.

So I have 6 bottles of pure ice, and let me say- This is one of my favorite brands! It's affordable (No joke. Like 2 bucks at my local walmart), and just awesome (:

The main draw of Pure Ice polishes is that they're cheap - about US$2 @ Walmart. I use the black and white polishes (Black Rage and Super Star respectively) as "lingerie" under my other polishes since VNL is a huge pet peeve for me. One coat of Black Rage/Super Star will usually do the trick, although if I'm wearing Super Star under a very sheer creme, I'll sometimes use two coats to avoid visible streakiness. As far as colors go, I've tried Cheatin' (cobalt and fuchsia glitter in a sheer black base) and didn't care for how dull it dried. Generally, Pure Ice polishes dry in less than 10 minutes, and the brush is surprisingly good - it's not wide or spatula-shaped or anything else fancy and innovative, but the classic nail polish brush that gets the job done. The smooth, slender caps are little slippery - I've very nearly dropped a polish-laden brush on myself a few times!

Pure Ice nail polish comes in some beautiful, unique, eye-catching colors, so I ended up with several bottles of this nail polish. No matter which color I wore, though, within a day the polish developed fine lines, like cracks, across my nails. Then the polish actually fell off in small squares or circles. I have never had another nail polish do that! Each color I've tried of this brand does that though. It's so annoying that I end up taking all the polish off within a day or two of polishing my nails. I won't ever buy this brand again. It's a shame, because the colors are great.

These are really not bad! My favorites are the shimmers and pearl colors. They're beautiful and lovely ^^ I have four of these polishes, and I love each one. It's also some of the prettiest nail polish packaging I have.

I'm reviewing a color in the Pure Ice line called Fast Lane. It's a gorgeous shimmer polish and the color looks copper in the bottle, but peachy gold applied. It really works well with my skin tone. It's almost a nude in how peach it is, but the shimmer and added hint of rich gold really makes it one of my favorite colors in my collection. I find myself reaching for it frequently, and the wear is great! Working as a computer technician is a guaranteed mani-destroyer but I find this withstands the inevitable chips better than a lot of higher end brands.
This formula is a bit goopier than I like when applying, and I have to use a careful hand, but that could just be my skill level, too. Add a shiny top coat and I get lots of compliments! I love "Fast Lane" and I will definitely be trying out some more Pure Ice colors next time I stop a Walmart.
Oh, and I rated the packaging a 3 - the square bottle is cute and the cap is easy to hold, but I hate the brush. So there you are.

I have this nail polish in platinum. It's great. I only had problems with bubbles when I used my new base coat. It lasts around a week on my fingers (which is good considering I am a busy person who is constantly typing, writing, washing, and etc).
I find that it lasts longer without a base coat. I would recommend it. It's cheap, doesn't streak (well sort of on the first coat, but it disappears on the second). It's not as opaque as i would like (but then again Platinum is a white-silver color so that's probably why).
Note with this color you can see your brush strokes (since it's so metallic and reflective). But besides that, I can't wait to buy another color :)

Bought this in Yellow Polka as I was looking for a creme yellow color with no shimmer. This looks like it will be the perfect funky yellow for spring. I never thought I'd even try yellow again just this shade changed my mind. I haven't used it yet but it looks so pretty in the bottle. $1.99 at Walgreens. Will be buying more Pure Ice polishes.
UPDATE: Got up the courage to try this last night. I needed two coats to get good coverage, along with a base coat and a top coat of S.V. It is a beautiful, Big Bird yellow! Haven't received any comments from coworkers today so not sure if they like it but it sure brightens up a dingy Midwest spring day. I will be trying more P.I. polishes because the quality is good. My only bad comment is the brush seems unusually narrow.

I saw these at WalMart for $2 and after seeing some gorgeous sparkly ones, I had to pick up a few. I have the regular white one, Lilac Mist (sparkly pink) and Heart Breaker (blue-green). The white goes on opaque with just one coat, and I usually use it for french manicures. The other two, however, require at least two coats to be the colour of the bottle, though I usually apply three. The blue and pink are absolutely gorgeous colours however and with a good top coat, last as long as the more expensive ones.

I am trying to cut back my polish purchases in this rough economy and I took a chance on this PURE ICE brand at Wal-Mart due to price. I am pleasantly surprised at this polish going on smoothly w/o bubbles or streaks and I just love the color - a Gorgeous Grey! I will be back in Wal-Mart soon to keep up my mani-pedi mania!

I have bought several polishes from Pure Ice. At my Wal-Mart, it costs about $2.50. It's half an ounce. And, with the exception of a few bottles that I have, they only take 1-2 coats to get opaque. Heart Breaker (blue) is very sheer, but, when I would put it over an opaque white, it's really pretty! Same thing with Busted (Purple). I think thats the name of the color. I really think that this polish brand is very good! I can't wait to get some more Pure Ice polishes!
