It's cute and does the job, however yes you can make your own or just use a toothbrush.
The smell is ok.. But it does have a strong artificial smell. I prefer to wipe off the sugar with a tissue, licking it off seems gross to me..
Personally, wouldn't repurchase.

I mean, I would buy this product again because it works really good, but you can easily just make this yourself with honey, olive oil, and sugar. It is quite expensive so I would actually recommend you making your own.

Love love love ! Does wonders to my lips before using a lipstick or lip balm. Price could be a little bit less. Smells great, keep one in my bag and one in my kit.

Yes, you can definitely make this at home, yes, you can even make a better one. But I'm not really into DIY projects. I like this, makes my lips smooth and soft, however I prefer the Popcorn one over this. I think this smells a bit artificial.
A bit expensive for what it is.

Pros:
- Does the job, leaves my lips nice and smooth afterwards
- I like how you can lick it off your lips and it smells of bubble gum (however there is a downside to this, see the cons for the reason why)
- It also comes in cute packaging that you can reuse :)
Cons:
- Quite pricey
- It's mostly sugar so you could easily make your own (I plan to do that after this one finishes because then I will have a nice small pot to store it in)
- As much as it smells nice there is also an underlying scent and taste of soap, so it feels like eating bubble gum and soap flavored sugar... this is why I only gave it 3/5

I have 3 of these pots. They taste good and smoother your lips for quite a bit. Once you look at the ingredients you realize you can make it (with the proper measurements. Which I don't know) I prefer Sara Happs. Which is more pricey but last longer

I absolutely love the bubblegum lip scrub, it leaves my lips feeling irresistibly smooth and not to mention the delightful smell.

Yummy taste! Will really smoothen your lips after. I like that you can just lick off the excess.

Mmmm this tastes lovely! Leaves my lips feeling soft and at the moment I am addicted to applying it because of the smell and taste. It is quite pricey but it lasts a long time so it is worth it.

I like it, because it has jojoba which keeps my lips soft and it smells amazing. but It doesn't really take the dead skin off my lips and isn't that what it's supposed to do? I'd be better off buying a big bottle of jojoba...

I love LUSH's lipscrubs. They are one of my holy grail products. That being said, I have also tried Mint Julips, and while I like that one, I have to be in the mood to use it because of the flavor (mint chocolate). Bubblegum is a very girly, yummy flavor that I can always deal with (and often enjoy).
These particular lip scrubs are an effective exfoliate for the lips, that not only remove dead skin but also product build up. They are also not harsh on the lips or surrounding skin. Thumbs up!

It's nothing amazing, really. I use it as preparation for lipstick and other lipproducts, to get rid of the dead skin on my lips. But honestly, I'm not sure if it does much. I'm sure you could make a much better DIY scrub at home. At least it smells good.

this product doesn't really do anything amazing. the application is messy and the scrub scrub leaves grainy residue when it comes off. at least the bubblegum one smells amazing:)

I really liked this lip scrub! It left my lips feeling silky smooth and any lip product used after glided on. Texture: Fine but chunky enough to exfoliate without being harsh. Taste/Smell: Exactly like bubblegum! Buy again? Definitely!

This lip scrub smells and tastes absolutely gorgeous - but as other reviewers have pointed out, it is far too expensive for a simple mixture that could be easily recreated at home! I live in Ireland and I paid around €6 for a 25g container. Even the shop assistant agreed that any old packet of caster sugar and a bit of oil would do the same thing.
I have to say, though, it certainly did the trick. My lips were extremely chapped and rough (after years of neglect) and within a week, they were so much smoother and a lot sweeter! For that reason, I would buy it again. If you're not interested in faffing around with DIY mixtures, then this is a great product that does exactly what it promises.

This is a solid product as far as exfoliating your lips goes, and it tastes/smells awesome (it IS edible, after all). However - and this is a big however - the ingredients are just way too simple for me to pay $10 for this. You can literally recreate this exact scrub at home, with the same ingredients that Lush uses! Look at the label - this is just caster sugar, cold-pressed organic jojoba oil, flavor, and a blend of artificial red colors. I found a nearly identical jar for $1 in the travel section of a grocery store, and used it to store my own bubblegum lip scrub. I just mixed the sugar and oil in a bowl, added some bubblegum flavor, and then threw in a couple drops of pink food coloring; after some tinkering with the ratios to get the right consistency, color, and taste, I was a happy camper. Bam - it looked, smelled, tasted, felt, and worked exactly like the Lush scrub. For about the same price as one pot of the Lush stuff, I can make dozens of pots of my own scrub! You can use non-organic jojoba oil to save some money; pink food coloring is about $2 for a hefty tube; and bubble gum flavoring ranges in price from $1.97 (with free shipping, no minimum purchase required) through bakery sellers on Amazon to $3.49 at Hobby Lobby (unless you use a coupon, in which case it's way cheaper). Caster sugar is known as 'super fine sugar' in the United States, and if it's not available in-store, it can be made at home from regular granulated sugar by pulsing it in a blender, food processor, or clean coffee grinder and letting it settle for a minute. The whole process was too easy for me to spend another $10 on Lush scrubs...

This product is great if not expensive. The scrub itself is very easy to replicate at home but I just love the scent, taste and look of the ones in store. The product helps a lot with my chapped lips and tastes delicious. The price is quite expensive for $10 a jar.

Man, this stuff tastes amazing! i have to admit $10AUD is a bit much to fork out for a teenty tiny jar of sugar scrub you could so easily make at home but that didnt stop me buy it again and again, just for the flavour. i use this after i do my face makeup but before my lips, scrub it over my lips (being very careful to stay in the lines), and then lick it off, it leaves them smooth and gets rid of any stray makeup that got on my lips, the results are no different to if you made your own sugar scrub or bought any other one, but the flavour is what makes it! My boyfriend loves this too, he just eats it from the jar!
