So I bought this after reading that it can repair compromised skin barriers which I have with bad rosacea. Well, this made my skin super red and left a bunch of whiteheads that I normally never get. Never again.

I wanted a good PM moisturizer with a pump, and I'd had good luck with other CeraVe products, so I tried this one out. My skin is dry/combo (mostly dry with some oiliness on the nose).

It's just ok. The texture is almost gel like and absorbs really quickly. It leaves a matte finish, which I honestly don't love. I prefer a more emollient/glowy moisturizer. This just does not provide the moisture I need at night, but I'm keeping it to use during the day if I'm wearing makeup with SPF. This is much better suited to oily or normal skin types than it is to mine.

I do love the packaging - it comes with a locking pump.

This stuff is a really good deal for the price. It moisturizes well, and I find it is good if you like to layer your products at night time. One pump can go on as a thin layer overtop of any serum. I wouldn't repurchase though as I find it a little boring - it's unscented and I don't think it has anything for anti-aging. But if you are looking for a basic moisturizer, I think this is a good option.

So many people live this lotion. I wanted to love it, I really did. I still think it's great, especially for the price, but not for me.
I have sensitive skin that has always been super dry. I also suffer from allergies and KP primarily on my arms no legs.
Recently, at the age of 27, I started experiencing acne for the first time. My hormones have changed and my forehead is now super oily. My cheeks are still very dry, and my entire face feels tight and parched. I've been meaning to find a better facial moisturizer for years, so I decided to try this out.
I noticed a slight stinging sensation whenever I applied this. But I loved how hydrated and fresh my skin felt, though it looked a bit pink. By day two my skin was splotchy and I started getting bumps under my skin all along my jawline. I was hoping that this was a coincidence... I thought that maybe allergies or hormones were to blame. After a week of use, my jawline was getting bumpier and the tiny bumps got larger. My forehead started getting lumpy and after I broke out in whiteheads, I gave up.
Most people blame the niamacides. I have no previous experience with this ingredient so I can't say for sure why I reacted to this.
I regret that I didn't do a patch test first. Just out of curiosity I put some of this on the crook of my arm. I immediately felt the slight stinging sensation, and the area turned pink with red splotches. I waited the rest of the day to take it off and it did not improve, the red splotches darkened in color.
I do recommend this product based on the testimony of others, but I advise anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin to test this on their arm first.

This is the only moisturizer I will ever use from this point on. Being oily skinned, I never got the importance of moisturizers, my skin was fine with or without it. But then I went on Accutane and noticed my skin getting drier. This takes care of my dry skin without all the bells and whistles of fancier moisturizers. For comparison, I do have First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream. It's highly rated on Sephora but Cerave wins hands down for me.

This was recommended to me by the Makeup board after I asked for a skin-softening but non-greasy moisturizer that will help my foundation glide on smoothly.

While CeraVe PM does exactly what I asked for above, without causing any breakouts or clogged pores, I noticed that each time I applied this (and I gave the moisturizer three months), my skin immediately turned dull and gray with rough texture, with pores looking so huge that they were like black dots covering my cheeks. As soon as I washed it off my face, my skin was smooth and bright, and my pores were tiny again. At first, I didn't mind because I wore foundation over my skin anyway, but the moisturizer just made me feel so ugly each time, that I threw it away.

I don't know what which ingredient(s) may have caused my skin to look so ugly, but if you so, please message me to let me know!

Caught this product line on sale while shopping for a replacement. It was springtime when I bought this and it was perfect for spring and summer as well. Not too heavy but still effective. I'll be buying the AM moisturizer for wintertime.

This moisturizer breaks me out so badly, and leaves my skin super irritated. It doesn't sink into the skin and sits on it making it feel sticky.

Great moisturizer that I actually apply in the morning - I prefer not to have sunscreen in my moisturizer, which CeraVe's AM version has. This has no fragrance, a cool pump dispenser that delivers just the right amount, applies smoothly, absorbs quickly and leaves no residue, and lasts a long time. Works as good if not better than high-end products, and is manufactured by a drug company. Got mine at Ulta for under $15.

This is hands down my favorite moisturizer. It's lightweight and is actually absorbed by my skin. It feels like my skin 'drank' and is so hydrated. The hyaluronic acid in it plumps up my skin and fills in my fine lines more so than any of my eye or anti aging creams/lotions. The other stuff just felt heavy, waxy, and it would just sit on top on my skin or 'pill' and be impossible to use under makeup. I've gone through 5 bottles of this stuff and couldn't see myself EVER using anything else. Try it! You will not be disappointed.
