I'd recommend this product to anyone with sensitive, acne-prone, oily/combination skin. The packaging is sanitary and one pump provides more than enough moisture for the face and neck. The product is a gel-like consistency; perfect for those with oily/combination skin. Although the product is marketed as a PM moisturizer, I use it for both AM and PM purposes. Using this product prior to apply any face makeup provides a smooth canvas to work with, which makes me believe this product doubles up as a face primer. It may be pricey for some people; I purchased this for $13 a bottle at Target. I have been using this product for a little over a year and am glad I stumbled upon this product; I am no longer on the hunt for the "perfect" moisturizer. :)

Really?? Went to the derm and she gave me a sample of this along with differin lotion and antibiotics. Do not like!!!!!! After 3 days tiny bumps/pimples ALL OVER MY FACE!!!! My skin has NEVER EVER looked like this.... The best part, when I asked her for help she said keep using the ceravepm!! Only when I finally went back to keihls moisturizer did the bumps stop appearing and slowly start going away. Now if I could only find a non greasy moisturizer... Anyways beware!!!

- My skin: Dry, sensitive, easily irritated. Face will feel swollen and tight if I'm outside all day.

I've used plenty of expensive facial moisturizers and recommended toners, but my cheeks always remained red.
- PM has eliminated the redness that I thought I was stuck with forever.
- Thin, watery consistency. Absorbs into skin incredibly fast leaving no residue.
- I apply it morning and night after a gentle face wash to keep it nourished.
- Never burns or stings irritations or more sensitive areas. It calms my face instead.
- Its ingredients, ceramides and hyaluronic acid are must haves for dry skin folks!

Cerave body lotion was a game changer for me, and this has been no different. I bought a bottle in hopes that it could replace a more expensive product (La Roche Posay Toleriane Facial Fluid) that I'd been using for times when my skin was seriously dry and irritated and so many other lotions burned. THIS STUFF IS GREAT! It didn't burn at all and sinks in nicely. It's not greasy. I put on a thick coating, because my skin was pretty raw (red and peeling), and I woke up to significantly "repaired" skin. Amazing. The ingredients in it (ceramides and niacinamide) are supposed to help with barrier repair, and they did! My skin isn't 100%, but it's as much as I could possibly hope in a day, I think. Niacinamide also helps with redness, and hyaluronic acid helps draw moisture to the skin... It's such a good product for the price. It's a new staple -- and half the price of Toleriane for more product. Fantastic. My parents' dermatologist told them about the body lotion, which is what started me using this line. I also use the face wash, which beats the pants off of Cetaphil. Everything I've tried by this company is great -- so simple, but wonderful on the skin. Love that their stuff is so affordable and available at Target, drugstores, etc.

This moisturizer is great for nighttime use because *IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS* - really repairs dry skin, restores skin barrier (my face feels hydrated and smooth before AND after my morning cleanse!) and doesnt clog pores.

Other reasons I like CeraVe moisturizing lotion PM is that it doesnt leave your face sopping with grease (other night creams are like chastity belts for your face! yuck!), sinks in to your face quickly and not your pillow, packaged with a PUMP (thank lordy baby jesus hallelujah), and is cheaper tenfold than other night creams!

My only cons are that I prefer natural ingredients and like to use oils (think jojoba and rose hip) instead of chemicals, but this moisturizer is okay by my book because it does what it says and leaves my skin....,well.... moisturized!

I love this lotion- non-greasy but very moisturizing, and apparently (according to my dermatologist) it has lots of great ingredients, for a great price. I like how simple this product is- no fragrance, nothing to make me break out, and after putting it on at night, my skin still feels clean, but moisturized.
I also like that this lotion goes on nicely under makeup.

I am so pleased with this product! I recently went to the dermatologist, and she suggested the normal cerave moisturizer to go along with my new skin routine. I used it for a few weeks but my usually oily skin was super dry. I have been using this every night for a few weeks now, and my skin honestly has a glow..

I bought this on a whim because it was the only moisturizer on sale at the time and I was in desperate need. I do like that it's light and non-greasy but I don't feel like it does anything for my skin. I've used Avon which gave me skin a really soft feel when I woke up in the morning but this one didn't. I see no difference either. Sad.

I really like this product. It has a serum/gel like texture that goes on really nicely. It doesn't leave greasy residue and sinks into your skin pretty quickly. It moisturizes nicely for my combination skin, but if you have extra dry skin I'm not sure this would be moisturizing enough for you. I have sensitive skin as well that breaks out easily from different products but this has kept it smooth and break out free. My favorite part of this product is the texture and the fact that there is no scent. Overall a good night time moisturizer that keeps my skin soft.

As I am getting older, I am searching for different products for my changing skin. My skin is sensitive, a little dry but mainly problem free. I have tried ceramide products in the past and have like them.

My sister told me about the inexpensive product with ceramide recommended by her doctor, soI got a bottle. Overnight, I broke out in a hot rash. I had the same type of reaction to an Olay product that had both naicinamide and hyaluronic acid. I want to love this product but it is not for me.

Holy grail, hands down. I use tretinoin most nights of the week. Therefore, when I get out of the shower, my face is flakey and tight. Cerave PM has saved my skin. The dry patches are GONE after I apply this. My skin is plump, glowy, and even. No moisturizer has ever soothed my skin after using harsh tretinoin as Cerave PM. This is a must have, especially if you use Retin-A. My skin has never looked so beautiful and clear!

BEWARE! Burned my face so bad after I put it on. I had to wash it off right away. Cerave products have never worked for my skin. I don't recommend this at all!

My HG night time moisturizer. Derm recommended it. Makes my skin feel so soft and refreshed. I use to use Cetaphil Facial lotion but it was just too heavy. Cerave PM is super light and moisturizing and contains all the good ingredients like nicomide and etc.

When I first applied this to my skin I felt stinging which continued for about twenty minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and had to wash it off my now pink face, I still had a mild burning feeling for a about an hour afterwards.

I've been using the Hydrating cleanser with success for about a year, so I thought the PM moisturizer would be a good option for my dry skin. I've also used Olay F. F. Regenerist serum for many years without issue and both Cerave PM and Olay have Niacinamide third or forth on the ingredient list.
I don't know what is wrong with this formula but I'm returning it and plan to contact the company.

I've been using simple's night cream for awhile and i wanted to try something new. This product popped up and had amazing reviews. Sooooo true!!! First night I used it, a pimple that I had was no longer red and was flat. 2nd night I used this, pimple was reduced to pretty much nothing. Along with my benzoyl peroxide gel, my zit was gone by the 3rd day. This night cream has no scent, dries matte and moisturizes my skin without making it feel greasy. Def would repurchase for sure!

I dont want to jinx myself...but I can not believe I have finally found a facial moisturizer that I can use. I have never literally never had this happen. I have struggled on and off with acne since I was 11, and now at 35 I have rosacea...lovely. So now I am on metrogel and tazorac and I HAD to find something my skin was soooo dry without. and this is it. I cant say enough good things, it does not make me super oily or break me out. I use it PM and sometimes in the AM. I really wish the would make an AM version without chemical sunscreens in it.

This is the best moisturizer on the marker bar none. Gentle on your skin yet still contains HA, cerimides, and niacinimide. Great container. I layer it over my day and night serums. I prefer to use the PM in the day if I know I'm not going to be in the sun. The AM with the SPF is a bit thick and sticky. Absolute HG. Can't live without it.

I love what this moisturizer does for my very sensitive, combination skin. Light, hydrating and fragrance free, I really think this formula has improved my skin's barrier function. I've noticed less redness and my skin just feels healthier. I would definately recommend this to anyone struggling with sensitive skin issues.

I bought this after years of seeing it being raved about on this sites' forums. Despite my surprise about the texture (it's akin to a gel-serum hybrid-- nothing is comparable I can mention publically, to say the least), I love this stuff, and I am on my 3rd bottle.


I have combo dry skin that is very sensitive with bouts of hormonal acne, and this is THE perfect moisturizer for me. I like that it sinks in fairly quickly, leaving my skin feeling calm and soft & there's no added fragrance.

I really like this product a lot. I use retin a and my skin with the Winter has been getting so dry and flakey. This moisturizer is making my skin look and feel so much better. I usually have combo skin more dry than oily but it doesn't give me excess oil. It does not break me out, it soothes my redness, and when I wake up I have less flaking and my skin looks so much better....more even toned.

I wash my face, tone, and wait 20 min. i then put on my RA. I find i can mix this lotion with the RA but I prefer to wait the hour. Then I use a generous amount on my face and neck. I also add a brightener that removes acne spots and a wrinkle cream I'm 33 so I don't want to get wrinkles yet..lol.

But always the Cerave first because I believe that is the real magic. It's simple, affordable, and has good things to restore the skin barrier. My skin has never looked better. I can't wait to get the AM. Highly recommended a good product without all the bells and whistles it just works!
