Very interested to see if these little babies work. I am on my first few days of using them and want to share my initial impressions. I think the pearls are a good concept and do keep the product away from light etc. You only get a small amount of product in each pearl...just enough to coat your face. I prefer to slather my products on which is not possible with this and I am not willing to use more than one per night because they are not cheap. I cannot use anything on my chin right now because everything breaks me out but I am using one pearl on the rest of my face..hoping to reduce some uneven tone on my cheeks and prevent wrinkles. I use this around my eyes with absolutely no irritaiton or burning. This product is silicone based so if you can't tolerate silicones, this won't be for you. Silicones don't break me out but for me I just feel like I am spreading a silicone primer on my face. I don't get the "feeling" on my skin that this is doing anything at all. I am the kind of girl that likes to feel a tingle so i know that its working (although I know this is not always good/true). Anyway, I am going to try and give this a month or so and see what i think and will update.

Around $19 at Walgreens, but can find on sale occasionally. Per website = .075% retinol. Jar contains 30 pearls (you twist off the top of the pearls and squeeze product out) = cute idea for packaging.

This is a great mattifier - feels silky smooth like a makeup primer (yes, I know you aren't supposed to use retinol in a.m., but accidently grabbed this bottle instead of the jar of hyraulonic pearls - see seperate review). Like well enough, but didn't perform any better than my Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Night, which is cheaper for the amount of product you get (N's tube lasted me a couple of months whereas perlabella is 30 tx only) = moving on to Avene Eluage which is obscenely expensive, but has the highest % of retinaldehyde which is stronger than retinol (if I am remembering from the skincareboard accurately) If I could, I would give this a 3.5 .

I have purchased these pearls on several occasions now, which says a lot because I am hard to satisfy ;-) Anyway, i find these pearls help clear out break outs and i believe they also fade any marks really quickly. The texture is really smooth and sinks right into the skin. I do wish each pearl was just a litttttlle bit bigger so i can apply more generously but that is a minor complaint. I probably will find myself buying these again.

Pretty interesting product. I received these capsules in a gift bag at a trade show. These are exclusive line sold at walgreens. It is pure retinol capsules that contain non oily serum that sinks into the skin, ready to be prepped by lotion. The packaging says highest concentrate of retinol in the capsules. It doesnt burn or irritate my skin. I will probably buy the full size version just because they are non-oily and not stick for my oily skin. They are $20. This has 5 out of 5 reviews at walgreens.com
