I bought this in Bosnia last year and it was cheap. But I will never buy it again! I used it for about a week but I didn't care for it at all. It dried slow and it was hard to work with. The only positive thing was the cute colour on the container.

This is most definitely my HG mascara. I love it to pieces! I used to go round buying all the new mascaras whenever they came out as I was always on the look out for a mascara that would give my thick but light blonde eyelashes definition without dragging them down. I used to use a Rimmel mascara, but when I was around 19 I ran out and bought this one as it was the cheapest on in Boots, and damn am I glad I did! I don't think I've ever actually bought a different type since and it's now 4 years later.

As I said, my eyelashes are thick and long already, but I am a natural blonde so they are very pale, and without mascara I just look like an alien. As my lashes are so long, most mascaras are too heavy and drag them down and clog them up, but this one really doesn't. I spend a while curling my lashes, and then apply a coat of this on my upper and lower lashes and it's ready to go! The definition is fantastic, every lash is seperated with no clumps. As the other reviewer said, if you just just the wand to the end of your lashes it will add instant length! It's incredible. This mascara is fantastic for both day time and evening looks. One coat is perfect for during the day, and then another coat and some touches to the ends makes it perfect for a night out.

They staying power is amazing too, it doesn't flake, disappear or drop down. The waterproof aspect of it is the best I've ever seen, I've been swimming whilst wearing several coats of this mascara and it didn't run. There were girls in the pool nearby that were discussing how they thought I got my mascara to stay!

I recommend that everyone buys this, it's awesome.

This is my accidental HG mascara and I'm quite horrified at that :) I picked this up during Superdrug's 3 for 2 sale when I just ran back from the till to get a 3rd item - I'd never have bought a Miss Sporty mascara after deliberation. I'm glad I have though as this shockingly outperforms most drugstore mascaras and a few high end ones too.


My lashes are sparse, blonde and stick straight so I need something that volumises and keeps my curl - I only use waterproof formulas for this. I've been through all of Rimmel's, Maybelline's and Loreal's mascaras, plus EL Double Wear, Diorshow, lots of Artdeco, Barry M, Bourjois, you name it. I never was really satisfied with any of them, only the Maybelline Volum' Express ones came close to HG status.


This Miss Sporty mascara, for £2.50 gives me all I need. It has a christmas wand type brush but it separates very well. The thinner end reaches all the inner lashes without getting product on your eyelid. It keeps lashes separated and darkens and thickens them very nicely.


It also gives a LOT of length - I touch the brush to the ends of my lashes and it builds length like fibre mascaras! It's pretty amazing. Overall it gives me this doe-eyed effect and it holds my curl all through the day.


It's also fairly waterproof, I can only get it off with baby oil. It never runs or smudges even if I wear it on my lower lashes.
The packaging looks incredibly cheap but I don't really care for this performance. It's easy to spot in my stash in the mornings :)


Overall I'd definitely recommend this mascara! As I read it has been featured in some magazines as well. And it really does what it says, I don't think anyone could go wrong with it. Much as it shocks me, I'll repurchase this instead of my usual mid to high end mascaras!
