I found this little kit at the Nordstrom Rack and it's a handy little kit that gets the job done. There are 9 eye shadow colors that are nicely pigmented and of good quality. The shadows are not grainy as it is with other drug store brands and it actually blends very well! If you're in a pinch the lip brush and foam eye shadow brush will work but if you have your own brushes, they'll work better. The lip color is not scented and is easy to apply and light enough in color to apply using your fingers (the lip brush is kind of meh.).
The box says it's hypoallergenic, cruelty free, and make in the P.R.O.C. (Peoples Republic of China). It has dimethicone, talc, petrolatum, and white mineral oil for those who may have sensitivities.

With a price so low, you can't miss with this compact. Perfect for smokey eyes with a rather good staying power. The black is great for lining. Application dosen't go on that smoothly with the dark colors so you have to get used to the texture. I removed 1 lippie due to the fact that the lip colors are totally useless as well as the tiny applicators included. Some of the shadows I won't use because they are way too shiny. Still, overall, it's a good buy. Small, it's great for traveling. I will not repurshase for I will likely move on to something else once I'm done with this.

Love this little kit! I found it in a bargain bin in a random shop, and it's been a great little investment!
The 9 shadows are all good quality, and I like that they are not all shimmery or all matte - there's a good mix. There are 2-3 light/ neutral shades, so this palette is great for travelling, as you can use it for a simple day look, then add the darker colours for a vampier look at night - it's very versatile.
I would say that the 2 lip colours are very much "suit all" shades, and though I tend to use another lip product, it's good to have them as part of the palette.
The packaging is great - it is a small but mighty palette, that for its size, offers a lot of possibilities. It even has a mirror in the lid. Great for those who don't like carrying lots of products around all day, or those who travel a lot. Ace!

I love these cute little palettes. They are so cute!!! I love the one I have and the lipgloss is so pretty but doesn't last long. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, just a tiny touch is needed. Overall this is a cute little random find, and worth the price. I would most definitely buy again.

Love this cute little palette.
It's really tiny (fits the palm of my tiny hand) and it has 9 eye shadows and two lip glosses and two applicators.
The glosses aren't the best part, but they might come in handy when you have no lip gloss with you.
What I love about this is that it is so small, you could take it with you in a small hand bag. Also love the cool smokey colors.
This palette contains two hightlighting shades (gold/ white), a matte black and dark brown, a deep charcoal black with shimmer, light and dark silver, pale grey with shimmer and a deeper brown grey with shimmer (love that one!).
This is a cool smokey palette, no warm bronze or brown in here, so it would be best for cool types.
I only wish it contained some more in between colors, like a light brown or another neutral shade, so it would be convenient for a touch up during the day when I'm wearing neutrals. But hey, it's called a smokey palette so what am I blabbing about....
Pigmentation is great, blendign is easy but I don't like the sponge applicator so I use a brush.
Love the concept, would like to buy more of these, probably the Nude on Nude for summer!

How cute is this little kit?! I saw the display for these little kits (think there were 3 or 4 color combos) and they only had this one left so I grabbed it. I would have normally gone for the brown one but for under $10 I figured why not. Well this is fabulous. The shadows all seem high quality (like the singles not the trios which I find horrible.) Just a nice range of light blue/grey to dark grey to taupe to black with two highlight colors. The lipstick colors seem to be pretty nice quality (again, like the NYX round lipsticks.) The pink is a nice neutral pink. The peachy side is nice but I would have preferred more of a nude color. I found that applying with my finger instead of a lip brush gives a better look for me. With the lip brush it was just too much "Barbie" color for my taste. Great for travel or just to throw into the bag. I will pick this up in one of the other colors next time I see them.

When I saw this palette was under $8.00 I had to have it. The kit itself is so cute. I can take it anywhere with me without all the fuss. This is great to put in your purse when you go out. I've worn it several times on date nights. It's a small palette that packs a big punch. It's too cute!

I got this because I've been drooling over other smokey palettes out there, but couldn't justify the $$$ since a gray/black smokey eye is too harsh for my NC15 skin. I'm really surprised at this! Only $8, and excellent range of colors.
My favorite is the peachy pink (upper left corner) and the gray color to its right. It's surprisingly small--fits in the palm of my hand. So the e/s pans are maybe 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch, if even that big. I don't know how deep they go, but looking at the packaging, there IS potential for depth.
I swatched all these over a paint pot on my arm and most of the colors are wonderfully pigmented and smooth and blendable. Playing with different looks, this is the most success I've had with a smokey eye. I think it's because of the range of grays available to blend.
The black is the only true matte, IMO. The rest are either satin or frost finishes. I'll try to remember to swatch and post again.
Oh, and I never had any interest in the lipglosses, but I tried them briefly and they're so-so. Doesn't make or break it for me.
