This is almost the perfect face product for day! It spreads easily, so it doesn't take that much for a full face application, and it will last a long time. And I am not one to mind if I get a slight tan, but it hasn't happened yet using this ss. There is titanium dioxide only as the physical sunscreen. Although it doesn't say so on the bottle, this is the equivalent of an spf 15. So, this has antioxidants such as the vitamin E family, Co Enzyme Q10, the copper peptides, and the wonderful squalane for moisture. It has a minty smell when you put it on, but it disappears. I like the blue tint (from the copper), because it seems to help cancel out redness in my face. Don't worry, it's subtle and won't leave you blue! :) You are getting sun protection, copper peptides for skin regeneration, moisture, and antioxidants. I will always use this.

Here is info from the website: Protect & Restore Day Cover is a skin repair cream that helps protect against sunlight (ultraviolet radiation) and environmental pollution. The cream uses many natural absorbers of ultraviolet radiation and does not contain any dangerous sunscreen chemicals.

P&R Day Cover is designed as a daytime replacement for sun protective creams with dangerous chemical sunscreens. This cream contains a high level of natural ultraviolet absorbers such as squalane, peptides, and nucleotides that have been protecting mammalian skin for over 100 million years. In addition, the Day Cover contains titanium dioxide, a safe reflective sunblocker. Of course, there is more info over on the skinbiology website. The ingredients are: Purified water, squalane, ethylhexyl palmitate, glycerol stearate, PEG-100 stearate, cetyl alcohol, myristyl ether proprionate, polypropylene glycol, copper peptides (hydrolyzed soy protein and copper chloride), stearic acid, allantoin, titanium dioxide, diazolinydinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, mixed (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) tocopherols, mixed (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) tocotrienols, ubiquinone.

I'm still on the fence with this. It's a pretty good product, the texture is fine... and I've found CP's to be my HG. The only problem is I find this cream is a bit too oily for me (understandable with all the squalane in this), and I would also prefer a higher SPF. Maybe during the winter months when there is no sunlight and my skin is drier, I may use it, but I highly doubt I'd use it year round.

I've been using this for 3 weeks now as my sunscreen. Even though it isn't "officially" given a rating of SPF15 they give it an implied rating of SPF15 (there is some titanium dioxide in it) and recommended for normal everyday use. I apply this after washing my face and it acts as a moisterizer/sunscreen and is a perfect makeup base for foundation and/or powder. It leaves my normal/dry skin with a soft matte look and doesn't feel greasy like other sunscreens towards the afternoon. It has added benefits of blue copper to renew the skin and great natural lipids. Would purchase again and highly recommend.
