I bought this from the Disney Villains collection, and I'm kind of disappointed. The color in the tube looks like a pearly peachy nude with loads of opal, silver and champagne sparkles, which is extremely gorgeous. However I find that on my non-pigmented lips (I normally wear one lip product at a time because layering is time consuming when touching up), only the gorgeous sparkles show up. They are not gritty so it's not uncomfortable, but the peachy nude isn't existent on my lips. Also, after wearing this lipcolor for a while, my lips seems to dry out. They aren't really peeling off or anything, but the sparkles migrate around my lips' lines, making them look old :( The packaging is the normal Lipgelee tube, which leaks a bit when you've left it alone for too long. Overall, it's a gorgeous color that looks lovely on the center of the lips to give them a full look, but it doesn't look nice allover the lips on me. I will not repurchase (doesn't look like I can anyway, it's LE), but it's a nice Lipgelee to have.

I love everything about this gloss EXCEPT the packaging. Good colour payoff, it smells divine, lasts a fair amount of time and isn't sticky. I just can't get over the tube. I bought it solely because my favourite MA advised me to, she knows me really well now and I fully trust her to pick out my makeup, but I never use it. To me, tube packaging looks cheap, aren't hard-wearing enough (mine have an awful tendancy to tear) and despense too much product. if this was in a bottle then it would be an HG product. Unfortunately, I can't make myself use it, such a shame :(

This product is super smooth and smells divine! I am not into lipglosses much mostly coz of they dont linger nearly long enough for me... When the disney collection came out, that was the only thing except for the mirror that I could buy for myself ( all the colour seemed outrageously wild)... Overall its a nice product, too shiny for day though! will keep updating

Love this. It's smooth and creamy. Looks great alone or over lipstick. Quite shimmery, so just a dab'll do ya.

Of all the items i picked up from the Venomous Villains range, this one has surprised me the most. I tend to find that lip products that come in tubes tend to fall into one of two categories. They are either so sheer that you can't see any color at all, or the ones with good color pay-off tend to be gloopy, sticky and generally uncomfortable to wear. This lip gelee doesnt fall into either category, thankfully. It is light and smooth on the lip, I can actually bring my lips together without the worry of them sticking shut.. lol. And the color is just a beautiful pearly gold shimmer which looks fantastic on top of nude/peach shade lipsticks. I think it would be a little over the top to wear on its own during the day because its so shimmery, but you could definitely get away with it on a night out.
This is an amazing product, sadly I think people will be put off by the fact that it's part of Dr. Facilier's range but please look past this! A great addition to any collection! :)

I'm so surprised at how much I LOVE this lipgloss! I haven't worn it on it's own yet, but it's so gorgeous over lipstick! I usually wear a nude lip, and this adds the perfect glossy, champagne pink finish. It is a bit sparkly, but not too over the top at all. When the light hits your lips...WOW! It is so gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about this gloss. I will be stocking up before this is gone for good!

Love this! but just use a small amount and I like on top of a lipstick rather than by itself... read that this has too much glitter, that is only if you put it on too thickly... has a gorgeous hue that brightens up any color and wonderful to use..

I bought this product when it came out with the Lilyland collection. I am only writing this review because it's being re-released in special edition packageing with the Disney Villians collection in fall 2010. I ended up returning this because on my lips it looked exactly like my MARK Juice Gem lipgloss in Honeydew, which was less than 1/2 the price and smells/tastes better (like honeydew melon). I will say that this is smoother than my Juice Gem, but I didn't love it enough to keep it. I like the texture of these gelees (way better than lip glasses and you get more product for the price). This particular color (which just ended up looking like pretty glitter on my lips with no base color whatsoever) just seems way over priced. I would love to find a good peach or true nude in a gelee.

I think the perfect word for resort life is shimmery. It's not gritty or clumpy. It still has that perfectly smooth and moisturizing lip gelee consistency. It will definitely draw attention to your lips. Great for a night out and looks stunning in photographs! I have pretty pigmented lips and usually like them nude, but I really like the way this gloss looks even though it doesn't make my lips nude.

This was the only thing I picked up from the MAC in Lillyland collection. I saw swatches of the lipgelees on Temptalia and thought Resort Life would be a pretty nude color. It is, but I find it a bit too frosty and glittery for my liking. However, you should get it if you're into super shimmery lip glosses.
PS. It smells amazing, more vanilla-y than other lip products

Love this lipgelee, and I'm not a big gloss girl. The MUA at MAC did my eyes with the All Ages, All Races collection (Banshee and All Ages eyeshadow, blonde brows) and then this on my lips. I like it because it is glimmery without being chalky--nice and translucent. It's gorgeous over MAC Plum lipliner as well.

I am in LOVE with the lipgelees that came out with Lilyland. At first I only bought 2, Lush & Bright and Preppy. I was so in love I had to go back and get the other 2, Shift To Pink and Resort Life. Great conistancy and you get A LOT more product for your money. Resort Life is pretty sheer. It's a beige color with pink, purple and yellow sparkles. When applied to my lips, which are very pigmented, I get a nice mauvy sparkly color and I absolutley LOVE it!!! Lipgelee's are not sticky at all, not like dazzleglasses or lipglasses. They have a stronger vanilla scent than the dazzleglasses also. Would def repurchase more of these lipgelees!!

This was my first ever lip gelee. I was super excited to get this in the mail since I am such a huge dazzleglass fanatic. It's a beige with gold and pink shimmers in it. The texture is nothing like a dazzleglass, it's actually a thin consistancy instead of sticky. I use a very small amount, as a little goes a long way. This tube will literally last forever. I would def re-purchase.

I really like this lipgelee.
Ive never bought one before and while I was at MAC I swatched the color and thought it was gorgeous!
Pros
-Super glittery
-Goes with any lipstick or by its self
-not sticky
-Good staying power
The only con is that its a limited edition and once its gone you'll have to buy it at CCO.
I love this lipgelee. If you never have tried one, go pick up this one. Its a good starter color.

If you do not like glitter, then don't buy this--buy a Chanel glossimer for a more subtle glitter.
I personally love glitter. I want to see a bit of sparkle when applied to the lips.
The glitter is not tacky because the glitter particles are very small and finely ground.
The texture is superior to Dazzleglasses because it is not at all sticky.
The vanilla scent is great!
The color is a champagne pink with gold and pink glitter. It looks beautiful on top of any color but particularly nudes.
The price is great at $14 for 0.5 fl oz or converted into per fl oz $28 per fl oz. In comparison MAC Dazzleglasses are $18 for 0.06 fl oz or $300 per fl oz. Translation for the amount of product you get, these lip gelees are 10 times cheaper than a Dazzleglass.

Usually, a little glitter is OK with me. I have used other lipgelee shades, so I already knew that they would be a bit glittery. And even that didn't prepare me for just how INTENSE the glitter was in this. LoL. The color was beautiful though - kind of a nude champagne pink with TONS of pink glitter in it. Originally, I still considered keeping this, because it looks very pretty on. However, once I went to wipe off the gloss, there was so much glitter ALL over my face, I felt (and looked) like the little kid in kindergarten who has more glitter on her clothes and face than she has on her class project. LoL. And that my dearies - was NOT cool with me. If you like to switch up lipgloss color throughout the day (like I sometimes do) - trust - you won't be able to discreetly remove this without making an even bigger mess. Minus the larger glitter particles, this would be gorgeous. But, I just can't deal with it.

Resort Life is a Limited Edition color from the MAC in Lilyland collection (released January 2010). The 4 shades in this collection are glitterbombs, and I love them!
I'm NC20 with really pale lips, and Resort Life is a light champagne tan-pink with a ton of gold and pink glitter - a great goes-with-everything gloss color. It actually rivals Dazzleglass in its glittery-ness, but you get .5 oz for $14, so it's a much better bargain. It's not thick like Dazzleglass, but has that Lipgelee slippery-ness to it.

This is a pretty champagne color, reminds me of the finish/color of Soft and Gentle
The creamy texture of a lip gelee with the sparkle of a Dazzleglass. These are amazing!! The sparkle is not as thinned out as a Dazzleglass so you get more of a very nice all over sparkle/glow/gloss with these.
Great over matching lip colors!!!

I am a huge fan of lip gloss that comes in a tube. Usually I will just get what ever is cheap at Target, but this totally caught my eye. It is super smooth and lasts for quite a long time. My only complaint is that sometimes a small amount of the glitter gets into your mouth and onto your teeth, it is not noticeable but I can definitely feel it. Other then that this is an excellent purchase to wear alone or over a lipstick.
