This product really didn't do it for me. I followed the instructions, and used 2 drops on my just-out-of-the-shower hair. I found my hands were sticky afterwards, which was a little weird, since this is an oil-based treatment. When I rinsed it off my hands, it almost had a soapy texture. Strange, but I was willing to wait and see results.
I have thin, fairly light hair. If I put in too much product, my hair gets stringy and clumpy really fast, and it's immediately noticeable. That's what happened with this product. It made my hair look grungy, sort of what it would like if I hadn't showered in a few days.
Curious, I went online to read some reviews. A few bloggers mentioned that the ingredient list on this product was unrepresentative. Listing 'water with argan oil, olive oil, etc' makes it impossible to estimate exactly how much of each of these oils is present in the treatment. Furthermore, the next main ingredient is sorbitol, which is a sugar-based alcohol. On a few long-hair forums, it's described as moisturizing, but I attribute the stickiness to the sugar as well.
Overall, this product works in a way very different than advertised. Instead of being moisturizing, it seems to have a lot of hold. That's probably great for people with curly, thick, or coarse hair, but it can easily overwhelm the texture of finer hair. I was prepared to give it a 3/5, but the ingredient list put me off a little too. I know that real argan oil is incredibly expensive, and I wasn't expecting miracles, but I'd be much happier if this brand just listed its ingredients in an order that actually reflects their concentration in the product.

I don't know what the heck this stuff is, but it's definitely not "pure argan oil". It lathers! What the heck! It's more like hair gel than oil. It's clear where any oil I know of is colored. Argan oil is a pale gold and olive oil (which is in this product!) is green. Don't buy this. It goes on sticky, is a pain to get out, and just makes hair greasy even if you only use a tiny amount.

Hated the consistency, doesn't feel like a true argan oil. Felt like hair gel. I appreicate the all natural approach, no sulphites, etc. but did not get the results I expected. Made my hair clump and stick together, weighed it down. May work for some, but if you are looking for a fast absorbing, moisturizing, OIL, that can work with both wet/dry hair... this is not for you. Defintely will not purchase again.

So few products actually make a difference in my hair, but luckily this one actually works! It helps my hair dry faster and smoother with less frizz, and its silicone free! Kinda has a weird texture at first, almost like a light gel, but it spreads nicely through wet hair ad a little goes a very long way. I use it on my ends and work my way up a little bit. I really like it.

I do not know why this has such poor reviews. I put this in my hair while it is damp, and then let it air dry. My hair has improved SO MUCH! I am trying to grow my hair natural and strong without styling or dying it, and this is really helping. It leaves my hair silky and soft, this is probably the best it has ever been. However, I would like to try Morroccan oil when I am finished this bottle, because I think argan oil is probably a cheaper and slightly less effective version of that.

I bought this because it was the cheapest argan oil on the market and it is all natural. I have thick frizzy wavy hair. After shower i used it on my damp hair and nothing changed.. Later i put some on the dried hair, still no good result... If you have thick frizzy stiff wavy hair, this does not help !

Complete and utter crap. Do not waste your money. This product feels nothing like an oil or serum- it's a sticky gel that makes your hair feel gross. (No, I did not over-apply it. Yes, I tried it on wet and damp hair. Don't feel personally offended because it did not work on MY hair!)

Just bought this stuff since I started using only silicone and sulphate free products about 7 months ago...which led me to the live clean live (love it). I have long straight hair with some damage to the ends. I just bought this and applied a TINY drop to the bottoms of my hair dry (rubbed all over my palms first to apply evenly and LOVE the results. I have shiny ends without any greasiness they look much healthier. I can't wait to try it with wet hair but have a feeling already that I will be a fan. I have very oily hair so wouldn't dream of putting this near the scalp but when your hair is long the ends still remain dry and I think this will be great. As other reviews have said...I think using too much would be a disaster but just the right amount and it worked wonders even on my dry hair.

I can see why this product has many negative reviews, but only because I've used this wrong. I applied more than the recommended amount onto damp hair, and it made my hair weigh down significantly. I thought it was a piece of crap for a moment...
But the next day, I decided to apply a small amount onto my hair right after I shower... then I wrap my hair in a towel and let it dry for awhile, then I blow dry my hair after I towel dry it, and voila! My hair feels so soft, looks so shiny and is very lightweight.
This product is awesome, and you can't beat the price. My poor ass can't afford the real stuff at the moment, but for now, this product is a great replacement for it. Definitely recommend this to everyone... and please... don't apply so much :/

I'm still trying to get the amount right. It's a gel like consistency, the scent is lighter than most argan oil products, I was thrilled to NOT read 'cones as a main ingredient, and the price was just under 10$, so i just had to bite! This product is about as close as I've ever found to pure. Unfortunately, my 1st experience wasn't great. I'm used to using more than recommended to get nice results, so I overdid it! My hair was sticky and weighed down, but felt lovely soft after applying a flat iron! This stuff actually seems to add moisture without the build-up I'm used to from the 'cone -laden argan oils! Once it's absorbed, my hair feels so healthy! I will try a little less each time until i get it right, because I think this could be very good for my hair, and the bottle will last a long time... all for around 10$!

I can't understand all the bad reviews on this. I shampoo and condition with the Bali Oil line, then put the leave-in-treatment in my wet hair. I've done this for almost 2 months, and my hair is so soft and shiny. Of course it's not an all-natural argan oil, but it's already heaps better than all those serums that just coat your hair with -cones. This actually moisturizes. Just follow the instructions : use 1-2 drops on wet hair.

Sticky...gel like stuff tried it in wet hair as said in directions and tried it in dry hair like other oil products thinking it would change the sticky out come in my hair. Used it in virgin hair and tried it in bleached hair felt like it dried it out when in fact i'm looking to do the opposite. Use an aveda product called brilliant and well it is.
when looking for products read reviews ive learned.

I read the more positive reviews of this and decided to take a leap of faith. This works wondersss on my hair! I use Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner, then after showering, I take about a quarter sized amount of the product and rub it in my palms. Afterwards I rub it into the ends of my hair and let it air-dry. I'm extremely against using heat styling products because my hair gets damaged so easily! Anyways, I would definitely repurchase again! I haven't tried it on dry hair but from previous reviews, alot do say that it should only be used on wet hair. So use only on wet hair!! :) and once its dry, your will be all soft shiny and prettyy :)

I have no idea how the people who are giving this 1-2 stars are screwing this up, but screwing this up they are.
You put 1-2 drops of the treatment on your palm, mix in a couple drops of water so that it'll be easier to spread on your hair, gently spread it over both of your hands, and slowly work it into your damp hair from the ends to about an inch from the roots. Let your hair air dry (it dries really quickly due to the treatment) and voila! Soft, shiny, touchable hair *pet pet*
Be careful with the drops, though. Each drop is fairly large and you don't want to use too much, so just gently tip the bottle and wait for a drop to drip out.
* I have normal/coarse medium-thick hair that goes halfway down my back, and even I only needed two drops

BY FAR THE WORST ARGAN OIL ON THE PLANET--STICKS EVERYTHING TOGETHER INSTEAD OF REPLENISHING, MOISTURIZING ETC. THE DESCRIPTION IS WRONG AS WELL AS TRUE ARGAN OIL IS A SUPERB MOISTURIZER, NOT A GLUE. ANY CHANCE OF A REFUND OR COUPON WORTH THE PRODUCTS PRICE....WHICH I THINK WAS 8.99.
PLEASE ADVISE

It is surprising that it has so many negative reviews.I am about to finish my bottle and I feel pleased about the results.
First of all, people you need to realise that this is NOT a STYLING product. There are many argan oil based products for styling but his one is for treatment. And it does the job pretty well, for me at least.
The second: this needs to be applied to wet/damp hair. It's no wonder you hate it when you use it on dry hair.It gets awfully sticky and oily,as if you haven't washed your hair in weeks.
So when you know how to use,it is a great product. It does not contain silicon.Silicons will work good temporarily but they don't treat your hair.
I have straight hair and it is(or was) pretty damaged with bleaching and dying. It is a lot better now, after months of well caring.
Argan oil adds great moisture to my hair, which is normal to oily.I use it after the shower, massaging to my hair and it gets super soft! The fried parts seem less crunchy and frizzy. As I said,my hair is better now,I still use it and have the same good results. This became an essential step with my hair care and I definetely will purchase again

I don't know why this has such negative reviews. I think people are just not reading the instructions, or maybe using too much?
I currently use this and Macadamian Healing Oil treatment, and I have to be honest, this one works better for me. I am halfway through my first bottle and have had it for several months. I come out of the shower, wring my hair a few times with a towel, gently comb my hair with a wide tooth comb, and I apply about a nickel size amount to my long curly hair (down to my waist almost) from the mid-section all the way down, focusing on where I get frizz. Before I apply this, I just gently warm it up between my fingers but only a little, not enough to foam it up. Then I get another pea size amount and apply it JUST to my very ends of my hair. It works beautifully, and makes me hair silky to the touch, very soft and probably shiny too, but most importantly it diminishes frizz almost completely! I love this stuff and like I said, I also sometimes use Macadamian oil which is not as good as this (I actually find that one kind of drying) but only because I ADORE the smell more :)

Maybe i got a bad bottle of this stuff cause it STINKS!! And mine did do this weird foaming thing, looked like cat spit! I love this line and use the shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair, the body wash and moisturizer. But Will never buy the oil again, crapola.

When used on damp hair, I get pretty impressive results: much less frizzy,
very soft hair and hair ends.
