I SO love this product! It provides excellent slip, is highly moisturizing, is strengthening, and conditions my hair very well too. It has become a staple in my haircare regimen. It is one of the best deep conditioners that i have ever used on my my naturally curly hair.

Let me begin by saying: This brand is designed for colored women, due to their thick and coarse hair type. Now, I am a woman of color myself: I am Middle Eastern and have very dry, wavy, coarse hair. However - you do not need to be a woman of color to try this. So, do not hesitate. Here is why: I have tried various hair masks and deep conditioner treatments, from salon professional brands to drugstore brands. One of my favorites is the It's a 10 Miracle Mask. And I have tried Moroccan Oil, L'oreal, It's a 10, Garnier - you name it, I have probably tried it! But with this product, you really cannot go wrong. You get a generous amount of product for about $6. I love using oil treatments in my hair (olive oil is my favorite, but I also use coconut oil) so the fact that this had olive oil in it made me want to use it. Olive oil has worked wonders for my hair as far as growth and maintenance goes. I have the product in my hair now - what I did was I rinsed my hair with warm water, towel patted, and applied the deep conditioner. I now have a turbie twist on while I'm procrastinating doing homework by writing this review. Case in point: Buy it, you won't have much to lose other than $6. Use it accordingly as directed on the jar, or mix in some more olive oil if you wish.

For some reason, my hair loves Profectiv products. It grows so much faster and healthier when using them. This conditioner is no different. I have been straightening my hair once a week now. When I use this when washing, my hair always reverts back and looks so healthy. I love this conditioner!

This was okay. I bought it because I had already dyed my hair and I was going to dye over it. In other words I knew I was going to have damage but it's really bad this time (Revlon Colorsilk fried my hair). I didn't leave this in for hours but at first I left it in for about 45 minutes and it left my hair feeling okay. I've used it like a normal conditioner in the shower and haven't really seen much of a difference. My hair still feels thick and fried :(

This is one of the best deep conditioners I have ever used. I deep condition about every 2-3 weeks by sitting under a hooded dryer. My hair is soft and buttery after this treatment. The comb just glides through my hair. I love this! I am forever trying the next thing, but I will forever have this in my hair care regimen. A 15oz. jar of this is about $5 at Wal-Mart. Sally's and many other beauty supply stores also carry it. The only drawback is the jar that it comes in, but this stuff is so good that I forgive the packaging. I haven't tried anything else from this line, but I might try the Profectiv Healthy Ends also.

I must say this is one of the better deep conditioners I have ever used. This is one of the better products from the line. This works really well in just one use. You will notice a definite difference in your hair. I add a little olive oil, and mix it up and apply to to my hair with a cap and sit for 20-30 minutes. Sometimes longer if I feel my hair really needs the extra treatment. You get alot of product for under $5. You can literally pick this up anywhere (wal-mart, Sallys). Definitely a must try. I definitely noticed a difference in my relaxed hair from using this product. There mega growth line is GREAT!

This is a ridiculously good deep moisturizer. I got this at Wal-Mart on a whim, basically for 2 reasons: 1) I have had great success with the Proclaim Olive Oil line at Sally's, which is also a line marketed to ethnic women, and 2) my hair is chemically treated and very dry and dull right now.

I have decided that, although I am white and have fine, thin hair, ethnic products work best for my dry, dull, chemically treated hair. Because I color my hair, it tends to be very fragile and dry and breaks easily. When I saw the Profectiv MegaGrowth Deep Strengthening Growth Conditioner, it seemed to have a lot of beneficial ingredients...lots of proteins, amino acids and natural oils. I figured that the worst that could happen was that I would end up with greasy hair for a day, and no real positive results.

Well, let me tell you---this stuff is a miracle worker!! I wet my hair and towel-blotted it to get the excess water out of it, then applied the MegaGrowth generously to it and put a shower cap on top. I let it stay on about 20 minutes. I followed by washing and conditioning my hair as normal. I was left with the softest, most manageable, most supple and shiniest hair I have ever had! I had volume, smoothness, and needed very few styling products. My hair blew dry very straight, and I barely needed my flat iron. The sheen was amazing. No greasiness or flatness at all. Great movement, as well.

I will definitely continue using this product, and will try others from this line! Plus, as an added bonus, the smell is divine!

PROS: Although I am caucasian and this product is for African-American hair, I love it as a pre-shampoo treatment on my very fine and very dry hair. Reasonable price. Smells good.

CONS: None I can think of.

APPLICATION TIPS: I actually use it before the shampoo. I wet my fine but very dry hair with barely warm water, put it on. Let it sit for a few minutes. Comb through with wide-tooth comb and let it sit a few more minutes. Then rinse with cool water before shampooing.

ALTERNATES: For regular, everyday conditioning, try weightless Conditioner Detangler by Motions (found in the African American hair section in my Walmart). For heavy duty moisture, try L'Oreal's Nature's Therapy "Mega Moisture" (found at Sally's Beauty Supply.)
