I've been on the hunt for the perfect colour for my blonde eyebrows since I have red hair. This is a great colour, quite warm and natural looking. If you have red hair and light brows this might be a good option for filling in with a powder.

Agree with the previous poster; this is the all-purpose perfect pale neutral that will pair beautifully with almost anything.
I'm a neutral NW/NC20 and use Modelette as an overall eyelid wash to finish a natural 'no makeup' look with clear lipgloss and bronzer; or pair it as a finished but naked eye look with a vivid lip. It is also great with a slick of black liquid eyeliner and some highlighter on the inner corners and brow bone.
It is like my eyelids but better.
Love love love.

I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS COLOR. LOVE.
Modelette is one of my first eyeshadows from MAC. I bought it about two years ago and I've never stopped using it since.
What I love so much about this eyeshadow is its universal color. It can be paired up with purples, browns, blacks, greys, anything you can possibly think of and it will all work! It's THAT universal.
I use it on my eyelid before applying a contour color on my crease (using charcoal brown if I want a neutral look or a deep dark purple or plum for a smokey eye). Or sometimes if im lazy i would just apply modelette on its on with some eyeliner and mascara. It's just such a gorgeous color. I have deep brown eyes and I feel as if this colors really brings out that deep brown tones in my eyes (very complimentary). GORGEOUS.

I bought this shadow online at a time when I was collecting shadows like they were all going out of style. When I saw it in person I was not impressed and thought it looked far too warm for my neutral pale skin but decided to give it a shot as a "crease transition color" as one reviewer suggested. Now if that sounds like a ridiculous thing to need to own, I hear you, I never thought that would be something terribly useful considering good blending generally eliminates the need for such nonsense.....
HOWEVER, it truly is quite magical for exactly that purpose and I do find myself reaching for it on a daily basis. I usually use Wedge or Aria as my crease color and Brule and Shroom as my browbone highlight, and Modelette with its lovely sheer satin texture falls perfectly between these colors. I highly recommend it!

This shade is amazing as a natural-looking crease color! It just has the barest of shimmer in the pot but it doesn't translate to the eye. I'm an NW20-30 (25ish right now) and it looks nice both when I'm fairer and darker.

The makeup artist at the MAC counter put this on me as a lid shade with Bare Study PP as a base and Embark in the crease. The combination is natural and a great look, and I wear it often to work. Modelette is a great basic shade, and even looks pretty on its own. I wish that it wasn't LE!

I love this eyeshadow! It's the perfect lid color for me in the fall and winter, when I wear slightly darker neutral looks during the daytime, and I love it as a crease color in the spring and summer months. It's a beautiful, caramel-beige color, and with its satin finish, it catches just the right amount of light (I refused to wear anything other than matte eyeshadow before I tried this shadow, and now I'm all about the satin finish). It also blends beautifully. I would definitely buy this again if I could find it.

I love this colour! Modelette is a very pretty light brown, caramel-ish colour. I love using it in the crease and on my pale skin it gives nice, soft definition to that area, goes on smooth and blends really well. This colour is a staple in my collection, I wear it almost daily on weekdays to the office along with the other 2 colours from the Warm & Cozy collection. This is just my perfect neutral, both colour & texture are fabulous.

I had been using Naked Lunch as my neutral a lot, but it was too shimmery and didn't always *go*. I needed something less shiny that complemented my other MAC colors. Modelette does this perfectly. Love this as my new go-to neutral. It blends beautifully.

I was encouraged to purchase Modelette after seeing it swatched on a couple youtube videos. I must say that it is a pretty cafe o'latte, biege, light brown color. It has a slight shimmer or sheen when swatched but is not noticable when applied to the eye.
To be honest, this eyeshadows looks like what Painterly looks like on my skin. It looks great on the inner corners of my eyes, but unfortunately I don't think that this an exciting color and is definately worth skipping. Although it looks fine with other shadows or by itself, I have other neutrals that are look better than Modelette.

I love this e/s as a crease color. It's a nice, warm light brown (not light light but not medium either, you know what I mean?). Applies smoothly and works well with all e/s from the Warm&Cozy Collection (Chamomile, Mulled Cider, Embark) as well as golds and bronzes. A def keeper for me.

I compeletly agree with the previous reviewer as it really is a HG neutral eyeshadow for NC25/30 (SFF).It is just slightly-darker-than my skin tone for an everyday brown look. Its a satin finish so it is easy to blend unlike the matte mac eyeshadows.I like to use it on the lid over relaxed shadestick and expresso in the crease for a beautiful smokey brown look. I never want to run out of it.Please mac make it permenant!!

My HG everyday eyeshadow! I've finally found it. It is the perfect colour and texture to wear everyday. It is just a bit darker than my lids, and has a lovely warm (but not too reddish) tone. The texture is satin, so it is not as aging as matte shadows but still not too sparkly. The shadow leaves the lids with a very slight sheen. I bought this on an impulse with mulled cider and these two are now my favorite browns. I love this so much that I went and bought a backup (I have never bought a backup of anything before!). For reference, I am an NC25, chanel 20 clair colour.

I LOVE MODELETTE! i had been looking for a matt-ish medium brown that was a few shades darker than my skin tone (NC15) and had been pondering getting soft brown for a while but i thought it was just too orange and a tad bit too dark. then mac came out with the warm and cozy collection and i was in love. i use this on the lid or if i want a natural looking crease colour. i hope mac makes this a permenent e/s because it is gorgous!! the MA described it as your skin only better and she was right!! i wantted to get mulled cider as well but they were sold out :(. maby ill get embark later on...

I love this color for a natural crease color. On me it shows up well on my NW15 skin but not in a dramatic way, but I like that. I bought all the eyeshadows from the warm and cozy collection and love all of them but this is my favorite.

Love Modelette! I am NW20 with blue eyes and this is a gorgeous warm, neutral caramel color. Similar to Era (one of my faves) although slightly warmer, this has quickly become a staple of mine. For a neutral daytime look, I like to wear MAC Luna CCB as a base (yes, I know I am in the minority with using this as a base, but I do not have any creasing issues), then apply Modelettte with my 239 brush all over the lid. Once I apply my e/l and mascara, you can tell that Modelette really brings out the blue in my eyes. It is a Satin formula so it has very little shimmer to it, very little. I did not find this to be chalky at all. I actually went and got a back up of it because I loved the color and texture so much. I am sure there is a dupe out there, after all, this is a caramel colored neutral shade, but the quality is top notch to me.

This is the perfect neutral base for my skin. Its like my lid color but with added warmth, almost identical to Era but definately warmer, more of a camel then beige. I love it on the lid with just smudged liner. Or you can dress it up with Mulled Cider or another warm brown in the crease. It has a very soft texture. It has definately become a staple for me, I am NC42 brunette with brown eyes for reference and I already bought a backup.

Bought this online so I didn't see it first. It's a dead ringer for my fair skin tone. I tried it on my lids...didn't really deposit any color at all. More like a nude sheen. I did go ahead and use it with Mulled Cider, and it's a great nude classic look, but for the lid I think I need something a shade darker or something with a bit more color. Probably just my skin tone, because I can see it being really nice if you were a bit darker or paler than I am. Don't care for it but probably will end up keeping it,

This is a great neutral shadow, perfect for my Asian skintone - not too cool or too warm. I have no clue why those who usually do smokey, colourful or dark eyes pick this up expecting it to wow them unless they wanted to go for something completely different. For me, it looks great with Daisychain (didn't bother with Chamomile) but I'm still trying to work it out with Mulled Cider, which I wouldn't have except the MA gave me the wrong shadow for B2M. I'll try this out with Comfort msf as a shadow as well. Either way, I love Modelette as my quick go-to shadow and hope to pick one up at a future sale. =D One lippie off because while it impresses me, it doesn't truly wow me - a bit more shimmer would've done it.
*edit* Just bumped this to 5 lippies because it's great for my brows - my sparse, fine, Chinese, black brows. It gave them fullness without looking fake, since I can't pretend I got a good full set of dark brows overnight. Also, Modelette's been the great blender between lid/crease and highlight colours - not too dark or light for my NC25/30 skin. Much love for Modelette - I need another one! I've been using this for about 1 month now.

This eyeshadow is a light caramel brown colour with a slight golden shimmer throughout it. Not sparkly - just a hint of shimmer.
I fell in love with the LE Warming Trend e/s, and now anything that slightly resembles that gorgeous colour I can't help but grab. Modelette turned out to be nothing like WT, however I love Modelette as well.
I use this in the crease with something lighter on the lid when I'm in a very neutral mood *which is almost always* and it adds a je ne sais quoi compared to leaving the lid bare. It definitely warms up the crease creating a flattering frame for my dark brown eyes. If you love warm neutral colours, I suggest snapping this up!
**update** I bumped this up to a 5. I am half done this shadow and fear I will never find another colour that is just this perfect.
