I originally bought this for my face but its just wasn't working. Its light and silky but it leaves my face looking to matte. It does make a great hand lotion so I will probably finish the bottle for that reason, but I probably wont buy again since there are other great lotions I can get at the drug store.

This is a great, all around daily moisturizer that was recommended to me by my dermatologist. It goes on really smoothly and works great under make-up. It's not displayed like other moisturizers - I have to order it at the pharmacy counter and it's always in the next day. I've been using Hydrolotion for about 3 years now and have no plans to stop!

I've been using this for like 15 years. My dermatologist recommended it to me in high school. I had really oily skin back then so I really didn't use it much. However, it never makes me break out and is great these days after I use the Buf Puf or microdermabrasion. I only use this at night as there is no SPF, but it makes my skin so soft and keeps it looking wonderful!!

I know it seems kind of expensive, but most of the facial moisturizers out there are only like 4 oz. and cost about 10-15 bucks so really this isn't too bad as you get 8 oz. It usually lasts me a year or more as I only use it about 1-2 times per week!

My dermatologist also gave me a sample of this after a chemical peel for acne. Not wanting to spend ALOT for an oil-free cream, I trusted her and used this product, over and over. Now, nearly 6 months later, my skin is beautiful again. I use it as a night/eye cream (since it does not have a SPF) and it is truly an effective moisturizer. I'm so happy I found this product because I've spent so much more in drug/department stores with great disappointment. I get mine from the website because I'm assured of purity and because of the free shipping.

I've used this lotion on my face for over two years, so I thought it was time others found out about it. I first used it as a sample from my dermatologist after a chemical peel. With much trepidation, I applied it because I really had to moisturize, although I knew it would cause a break-out. It didn't. I've been ordering it from Amazon ever since.

It's a very light, fragrance-free, dye-free, non-irritating, noncomedogenic moisturizer that provides just the right amount of moisture after cleansing, even for oily skin that feels tight after cleansing. Never looks shiny or feels greasy.

8oz costs about $15 from Amazon, and it lasts me about 6 months, so well worth it.
UPDATE: 6/2010 - still using this as my only moisturizer. HG for me.
