Pleasantly surprised by this mascara! It feels very nourishing to my lashes and doesn't make them fall out like some mascaras can. Good length and volume but it takes a while to dry (I learned this the hard way- lol). Best part is that it is easy to remove. Kind of pricey though.

Good for volume, for length, not so much.
Definitely makes my thin lashes pop out though

I have very sensitive skin and eyes. Previous mascaras (both drug store and dept. store brand) caused my lashes to thin and break and my eyes to tear up/burn. This mascara restored my lashes to their original fullness and made them more lustrous and soft. I also found it was really easy to lift and separate my lashes to a really nice length/fullness. At the end of the day, I never had "raccoon eyes" either. My only negative comment would be the price...it runs high IMO.

I got the mini pk that included the night activator. I,used it a few days, wasn't impressed, misplaced my regular mascara, and came back to this. It's not so wet now, goes on like a dream. I usually hate the way the plastic wands make my lashes look (too spiky) but this one is different. It is more flexible and I like the effect. Jury is still out on hg status, but I will try to update.

This mascara works really well conditioning the lashes and making them healthier. I really saw a difference in my lashes after about a month of use. I must say though, as a mascara by it self, it smudges horribly on me. Definitely not a water resistant formula. The formula is very volumizing but not too lengthening.
The way I like to use this mascara is to use it as a base coat. It conditions my lashes while giving them some volume. I then top it off with a waterproof mascara to make sure it won't melt off my eyes throughout the day.
I absolutely love the conditioning effect and volumizing effect this gives my lashes. I will definitely repurchase it in the future but it is quite expensive. I'd say it's not a must have but definitely a good to have =)

I received a sample of this mascara in a monthly Birbox and really love it! I love the natural effect it has on my lashes. They look long, black and fluttery. The formula feels really light on the lashes, not hard and crusty, it's almost silky. I haven't had any flaking, the formula is quite wet, so it's good to give it a few seconds to dry. This doesn't bother me. I like the wand, I'm all thumbs when it comes to applying mascara, and i find this brush just works for me. I like the shape of it and i can coat the lashes easily. It claims to grow lashes, but I can't confirm this yet as I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. The biggest drawback for me is the price. It's about $35 (eek!) so obviously, a big splurge for mascara. However, i can see myself buying this as a treat and hopefully using some giftcards of something. I'm still loving the sample i've got so i'll enjoy that for now lol.

I didnt see any great difference in my lashes with this product. That is the main reason I wouldnt buy it again. I didnt have much smudging (unlike BadGal), but I was cutting onions for dinner and I started crying. All the mascara came right off! My tears worked better on removing this stuff than Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover. I was really amazed because my tears dont take off other makeup that well. So as long as you dont cry, you should be fine with this mascara. However, I dont think it is anything special and I would spend my money on something else.

This smeared and ran on me within one hour of application. Also, I knew the bristles would be soft and wiggly, but the ENTIRE head was soft and bendy! I found it really hard to apply. Also, the formula didn't work for me, so I will not be repurchasing.

This was okay, but not great. The formula was fine, I didn't experience clumping, but I DID see some flaking and smudging under the bottom lashes by the end of a work day. The bristles were stiff, even for the rubber-type bristles that have become so popular. I poked my lashline a few times and it wasn't pleasant. I can't quite comment on the value, as this was part of a Lash Stash, but I wouldn't repurchase. It was just so-so, I've found better mascaras at the drugstore.

I got this 75% off at Sephora so I figured I'd try it out.
Honestly, this reminds me of a thicker version of Maybelline Great Lash. Yes, it's very black (pro!), but it makes all of my lashes stick together and takes quite a while to dry.
It does come out ok and if I put another mascara on top, my lashes look absolutely fantastic!!! But why go through all that bother when there are other mascaras out there that do all that in one tube, without all the extra work?
I'd rather have one mascara make my lashes look great in one go, then have to use this, let it dry, come it through to un-stick my lashes, apply something else..... plus, it's a bit heavy so it does weigh lashes down.
oh well. I definitely won't be repurchasing, but for 75% off I can make use of it once in a while.

I love this mascara! I received the small tube as part of the Sephora lash collection (about 8 different sample-sized mascaras to try, including Sephora, Bad Gal, Tarte, Urban Decay), and this was by far the clear winner.
It is the blackest black, which I love. In mascaras, I look for lengthening rather than volumizing, and this was perfect. The plastic-bristled brush separated and made my lashes look 1000 miles long. Also, no flaking or smudging at the end of the day!
I think the mascara claims to lengthen over time, which I did not monitor or notice.
This is an HG for me now! Too bad Sephora doesn't carry Cargo anymore.. I'll have to search this out.

I am in love with this mascara. It doesn't clump and is really dark. I really like the brush too. The only downside is how expensive it is. I'll buy it again anyway.

Pros:
Lengthening
Separates Lashes
Cons:
Too Wet for my liking
Clumpy at first
I would not buy this product again (especially for the money) because it was nothing special, also I like mascaras that give a little lengthening and lots and lots of volume. If you like wetter mascaras and length then it's worth a shot

This crap burned my sensitive eyes! Plus it was expensive, and my poor lashes became sparse. I will NOT purchase again.

I've learned from experience that mascaras do different things on everyones lashes! (One thats HG flakes on another)..
As for me with this mascara..
First coat and.. It clumps! It gooped the middle of two lashes together, and it was just not good for me.
My curl didn't stay all day either.
This was part of the mini-set for me, and since I don't mind testing out the serum, I will just keep it. (Got it for $10 CAD anyway.)
The mascara also gave me a tired-feeling to my eyes (Which happens with some eye M/u IME) so I just stray from using it.
It does thicken a bit, which would be lovely, had it not clumped so badly!

I bought this at 75% off from sephora because they were getting rid of Cargo. At the price i paid for, i have no regret. It lifts my lashes like a waterproof mascara and I can achieve natural looking lashes. I cannot achieve dramatic lashes, however, i can follow with another coat with a more dramatic mascara. I think it's not reasonable to pay full price for this because it's really nothing special. It does make my lashes healthier but not longer. I've been using it for over 3 months for everyday and nothing dramatic happened to my lashes. Packaging is not that great. The handle of the wand part came off loose. That had never happened to any mascaras I've used -- not even drugstore mascaras. So that's a failure on Cargo's part.

I like this mascara.
I have pretty nice lashes to begin with, but I am noticing some improvement - I'm not losing as many as I used to. Lash Activator goes on reasonably smoothly. It wears pretty well - a good bout of crying will mess it up, but it stands up to my normal day very well. It provides decent coverage in one or two coats for every day, and it works well as a primer underneath other mascaras if I need something much more dramatic.
I picked some up on closeout from Sephora, and I've ordered four more tubes. It's really expensive (to me) at full retail price, but it's a steal on closeout. Would I buy it again at full price? I just might.
Update: OK, I love this mascara. It's been a couple months of wearing it just about every day and I love it. I wore another mascara yesterday, and I couldn't even tell I had it on. LashActivator gives me great volume and coats the entire length of my lashes. Yes, it can get clumpy, but it combs out nicely for me. I'm still not sure I'll pay full price for it when I run out, but I'll use up my back stock and love every lash of it.

I couldn't even give this mascara the 30 day trial, because after two weeks, it became a big, gloopy mess.
At first, Lash Activator seemed like a wonderful mascara. The wand was a dream, and gave me long, lush, feathery lashes. As the days wore on, however, the formula started to feel thicker and thicker. And by the end of the second week, it got so thick my lashes began to clump together, and were so weighed down my curl just wouldn't stay, despite the hardest efforts of my trusty Shiseido mascara base.
So needless to say, I can't in good faith say if this would have made my lashes grow (or not) after a 30 day run. I couldn't even get there.

Typically I use Diorshoq but I bought the trial duo of Lash activator + the night primer to give it a try. It has a plasic applicator rather than the typical brush-type...which I LOVE! Leaves my lashes feeling quite soft, which is something I never quite get with Diorshow. I thought the volume and length this provided were pretty decent, and it holds up reasonably well throughout the day without producing raccoon eyes. However, it does weigh down my lashes a bit, so I lose a significant amount of curl. For this reason I probably would not repurchase unless I was in dire need of mascara and my HG was sold out.
