I like this foundation it has a really nice medium to full coverage. I also love the range of shades that it comes in I use white rose. Using the sponge provided I find a lot of the product gets wasted so I use my fingers and it works great. Only problem I find is that I do tend to get quite shiny while wearing this so a powder is needed for my t zone. Would be great I think for dry or normal skin.

I wanted to love this as I used to use a similar product by Coty Prestige which was d/c. I bought rose white which is a great colour for my pale skin. My issue was the coverage which seemed to be transparent. I dont get spots but I do have some broken veins on my cheeks. Also it melted very quickly and I had to touch up with powder.
I will try it over a primer next time but so far I would not repurchase. On the plus side this comes in a huge range of colours from the palest ivory to dark chocolate especially if you buy from the website.

I am 72 years old with a dry to normal complexion and still a makeup junkie! Until I retired some 7 years ago I often used Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation (which is now discontinued and was a beautiful product) in between using MAC - Mineralized Skin Finish Powder in Light. The Chanel is a very expensive product. So being retired I needed to look around for something cheaper.
So today I received the Sleek creme to powder product I thought I would try.
I have to say that on first impressions I am very pleased with it. I stippled it on and buffed it up using a Sigma Round Kabuki Brush F82 and it gave me a really lovely flawless finish. (It must have had to work hard for me)
Anyway I am going to continue using it. I purchased the colour Shell and I will see how I get on with it and how it lasts during the day.
I know most of the reviewers are a lot younger than me but I thought some might be interested in reading a review from an older generations point.

I love this foundation; I was so impressed by it. Having a medium to dark skin tone usaully means I can never find foundation that fits my natural colour perfectly; usually they are to orange or too dark but the nest shade up is too light but I was amazed by sleeks range of colours going from the very pale to the very dark. I got this in the shade mocha which on the sleek website is firmly in the middle of their colour spectrum. The coverage of the foundation is excellent, it gives a matte finish but is extremly light weight and smooth. It lasts all day for me and is easy to take off. This packaging is really good, its perfect for when you're on the go as it has a holder for a make up sponge underneath the compact and a mirror above with the actual makup sitting in between. For me, this is my HG for foundations, I will definatley be being this again when I run out.

I have bought this product twice, for the first few weeks of using I wasn't sure, but as I got better at applying it, and realised I didn't need powder it became a staple. It's full coverage, blends well, and the packaging is brilliant if you like it portable.
I apply with a brush if I have time and am going out, but the sponge works well for quicker application and touch-ups.
Some have said it cakes, as I have teenage/slightly oily skin, it doesn't on me, and if I do have dry patches for any reason, it works better applied with the fingers to those areas. It is made for black/mixed women, who rarely have dry skin.
However those who have said it only has one shade for lighter skins are incorrect, the website has five shades lighter than Shell, which is good for paler skin tones. I have bought it twice, once in Latte in the summer, and once in Bamboo this winter.
Because I like less coverage for everyday wear, I often only wear this in the evenings, or for special occasions.
It's unscented and has never made me break out.

I think you may like this foundation if 1) you have an oily skin type 2) you prefer full coverage 3) you like a matte finish. As I don't fit into any of those categories (I have dry skin, prefer medium coverage and like a semi-matte or satin finish), I don't have much great things to say about this. I find that this would work fantastic if you really like a made up look, and prefer a long lasting foundation, this could work with a wide array of skin tones as there are so many. Unfortunately this broke me out, I'm an NC45 and bought this in "Terracotta" (NC45's can use Creme Caramel too!), I found that this foundation's surface looked lighter than what it actually was, over the due course, my foundation altered a couple of shades deeper, which was weird to me. It gives a matte finish and it's texture is quite dry as it's "Oil Free", now, it ain't no MAC Studio Tech, as I assumed it was going to be and my money was quite tight so I thought an affordable alternative could make-do, so it's very matte, dry skin types should stay far away from this, but because of it's drying formula, it lasted all day which is a major plus for me because I don't really touch up but maybe a light dusting of MAC MSFN can do. But a revelation from my aunty made me vow to never purchase this product in a bid to use it as a foundation - "your makeup looks a little cakey..."she said *shock horror* so yeah story of my life. Drier skin types like me should stay FAR AWAY from this, opt for Sleek Skin Revive foundation, the skin can breathe better. I don't hate Sleek Creme to Powder but it will work soo much better for oilier non-acne prone people.

I was very keen to try a cream-to-powder foundation and thought Sleek was a good place to start as it's very cheap for foundation. There's only one shade for light skin, so that's what I had to go with. There are DOZENS for darker-skinned women, though. I know Sleek has a specific market, but it doesn't seem OVERLY unbalanced! The Shell works for me as I am QUITE pale!

I found this was best applied with a sponge, as it can be hard to blend with a brush. My skin tends to be "normal," but can go a bit dry in the winter and a bit oily in summer. This stuff does pretty well with the odd oily patch, but it does flake up on dry bits. It goes on matte, which is what I prefer in a foundation, but it doesn't necessarily stay that way. I found that part way through my work day, on a warm day, it would start to cake up and melt off!

Unfortunately, it also doesn't re-apply well. You can't touch it up easily; it simply doesn't seem to take the second time round the way it does on a clean face!

The little bit that holds the compact closed broke just from being carried round in my bag for a couple of weeks, and the foundation itself seems hugely prone to collect little fuzzies from my bag or even an apparently clean sponge, which is gross.

This was... ok. You can't really knock a foundation that costs £7, and I think it's worth a try as it seems to work really well for a lot of other women, but for me, this did NOT sell me on cream-to-powder compacts!

I love this foundation, I think sleek did well in creating a variety of shades for women of color.
I must say this foundation is more suited for individuals  with oily/combination skin, my skin is oily So I use it without a setting powder, as it goes on matte.
I use this in Terracotta, it is perfect for me. I will buy it again.

This foundation did not work well for me at all. I am an NC15-20 with yellow undertones and there is only ONE shade designed for light skinned ladies, which is Shell. Shell is too light for me and makes me look a little ghostly. The next shade up is dark and orangey pink. The foundation itself is horrible...I have normal/combo skin and even despite moisturising extremely well beforehand, it left me with dry flakey patches ALL OVER my skin, on my forehead, cheeks, chin. I then tried using a damp sponge to apply instead of a dry one and it still didn't fix the problem. It looks so dreadful, like I'm a lizard with scaley skin! I don't have dry skin so I'm just confused with this. I do like the compact and the fact that it comes with a mirror. But for over £7, this foundation is a bad deal for such bad results.

In the past, I used to turn my nose up at sleek products because I associated it with the black hair and beauty shops with the shabby looking stall. However, since they launched it in superdrug's, the packaging and overall image has greatly improved. What I like most about sleek is that they offer affordable makeup for women of color, which can be difficult to find. I was currently using maybelline 24hr superstay foundation in the cocoa shade. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try this creme to powder foundation. For my combination skin, I always want a foundation that is oil-free. I bought this in the hot chocolate shade and it cost me £7. I have to say, when I tried it on, I was very impressed with the result. It's medium to full coverage but it looked natural and airbrushed, it didn't have a cakey or mask like result. Also, it was very quick and easy to apply and even though the foundation supplied is quite small, you honestly just need a tiny bit because it blends so smoothly into the skin. The staying power is excellent aswell. I put this on at 7am in the morning, I came home at 5pm and then I excercised and it looked completly flawless and fresh; I didn't even have to set it with powder!! In terms of transfer, it does transfer abit, but only if you rubbed your face hard. It also comes with a sponge and a mirror so it is very portable. However, I think it's good to change the sponge regularly because bacteria can harbour on them. An excellent foundation, which I can't fault at all!!!

I am loving Sleek products at the moment! They are a brand in Superdrug and are great value for money - I love their lipsticks, lip glosses, eyeshadows, liners etc. Great stuff. Anyway, so this foundation is very good. I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I really was pleasantly surprised. I am a NW15 in MAC so got the lightest shade they do which is Shell. I liked the fact that the description on their website said that it offers full coverage and is oil free - two things which are vital to me in a foundation. I found that I didn't need to use much of this but had to be careful with the blending (think I will try a flat foundation brush next time instead of the sponge). The coverage was really decent for something which only cost £6.99, not as full as I would've liked but that's just my bad skin coming through really; if you had decent skin then this would look amazing I'm sure. My face also didn't look too shiny throughout the day which it usually does. I also really love the packaging - black and sturdy with a mirror, basically identical to MAC Studio Tech (same type of product too, a creme foundation). It also hasn't broke me out which creme foundations always do. Highly recommended!

I bought the palest shade in this compact foundation and am very pleasantly surprised. It's a perfect colour match for my NC15 skin and provides good coverage without looking too heavy. I'm deducting one lippy purely because the oil control feature is sufficiently strong that I can feel it working on the drier parts of my face (I'm combo) but of course the upside of that is that my oil slick of a nose looks completely shine free.

I brought this from superdrug at a very affordable £6.99 as i'd used sleek makeup in the past and got a little fed up of paying loads for mac makeup.
This is the best foundation i have ever used, i have skin that gets oily very easily and the powder finish controlled any shine breakouts that may occur. I also have quite a few dark acne scars but after using this my skin looks pretty much perfect.
I doubt i'll be buying mac again as sleek is much more affordable and of just as high if not better quality.
