I use this occasionally as a clarifying shampoo. I usually follow it with the matching conditioner when I do, or a deep conditioning treatment if it's my Sunday "spa day." As with the conditioner, the scent is soooooooo refreshing! It's never cloying or overly astringent. It has peppermint (also menthol, unfortunately)that actually makes my scalp feel a little tingly; plus subtle, pleasantly herbal-smelling rosemary. Best of all, it's ridiculously cheap (~US$3 for the huge bottle). I wish I could use it every day because my hair feels and smells so lovely and clean afterward, but of course that would be disastrously drying.

Can you find any Suave Professionals Rosemary Mint Shampoo in Melbourne Australia store? Because I like this product. Can anyone help me to find one of those in any stores in Melbourne Australia.
Thankyou

My two sisters and I all really enjoy the Suave Professionals Rosemary Mint Shampoo, and I feel that it does what it claims (which is essentially to cleanse well and invigorate). We have repurchased it at least twice now.
CLEANSING: This cleanses very well, so I can understand why some reviewers said it is drying. But since I don't wash my hair daily, I want something that is going to clean really well, and this works great. My sisters who do wash their hair every day (because they both have very oil hair, while mine is more normal to dry) don't find it drying and like it a lot. So, I think you just need to take into consideration your hair type and how often you shampoo your hair.
PACKAGING: The packaging is simple, but nice. It would be nice if it had a pump, but it's no big deal, I am not really complaining.
SMELL: This has a very fresh, minty-ish smell! I like it.
PRICE/AVAILABILITY: I've seen this product at Target, WalMart, Smith's Marketplace, and probably several other stores; it is seems widely available. I think this cost around $2.20. And it is is very, very cheap, which is awesome! It is amazing quality, especially for the price.

I love this shampoo because it's no-frills, inexpensive, and it absolutely gets the job done. It's silicone-free, protein-free, and contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate as its cleansing agent, which is something I personally look for in a shampoo. I have a lot of fine hair which gets weighed down easily, and this clear, fresh smelling shampoo doesn't create any buildup and leaves my hair feeling clean and light (but not stripped). I was able to get a HUGE bottle at Target for approximately $3. I would recommend this shampoo for anyone who has combination or normal hair. Don't let the Suave label deter you...it really is a great staple to have in the shower.

I love it!!! After three months of using it, my hair got shinier like a mirror and my hair has highlights. Also, my hair is softer. I will buy the almond and Shea shampoo and conditioner next after i'm done using it. I had the rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner ever since it was Christmas.

I've never had a problem with this stuff, and you can't beat the price. I have shiny hair and that's all I ask for. Also, it smells divine.

I really like this shampoo; am on my second bottle. Between purchases I tried another Suave shampoo (Sleek and Smooth) but missed the minty scent and cleaning power of this stuff. I'm not a fan of fruity/flowery smelling products, so this is a real treat to wake up with. The scent doesn't linger, but I'm fine with that, as I wear perfume. Note: I don't color my hair, so am not worried about stripping. Also, my scalp cannot tolerate "moisturizing" shampoos like Biolage, as it gives me dandruff. My long, brown hair is fine in texture, but there's lots of it so I need a product that can penetrate all those layers. lol. This makes my hair frizz-free and healthy looking. I've blown lots of money on different brands like Kerastase and I can't justify the expense, if something doesn't deliver awesome results. For a fraction of the price, I have the results I want. Obviously, don't buy this if you color your hair, as all reviews say it strips color. Will update after second bottle if my opinion drops.

Gets hair squeaky clean without stripping hair or leaving buildup. My hair was significantly softer after using this shampoo and the smell is amazing. Such a great product, especially for the price.

This is the best shampoo I have ever tried. We can't buy it in Canada, so I have to pick it up whenever I'm in the US. I'm very picky with shampoo scents. I hate the majority of them TBH but I love this one. It feels very fresh and clean. It leaves my hair feeling silky and soft, but unfortunately the smell doesn't stick around. The only con is that it does leave some build-up, but I just use Suave Daily shampoo to get rid of that every few days.

The only thing is that I wish it had a pump. I bought the biggest bottle possible at WM and while some of the other kinds had pumps, this scent didn't.

I loved this shampoo and conditioner but it didn't love me. It made my hair less frizzy. However there is something in it that I am allergic too.

This shampoo is too harsh and drying for everyday use in my hair. I only use this once a week to remove build up. However, my chef boyfriend loves how clean it gets his hair after his 10 hours shifts in a greasy kitchen.

This isn't the most nourishing shampoo BUT it smells very very similar to Aveda products. Since those are ridiculously overpriced, this is a nice shampoo for those who love the scent but want to save money. I enjoy the squeaky-clean effects of this shampoo; if you are used to pearly or creamy shampoos, you may not like that feeling. I am a huge fan of mint-scents for the hair so I am glad that this cheap product exists. I do not recommend this (or any clear shampoo) to those who have dyed hair. It strips the colour pretty consistently and can be a tad drying. 4 lippies for scent though!

I don't get all the bad reviews! I love it! I use the conditioner and shampoo and it works great, smells great, gives your hair hydration, and makes it very silky! If you get the conditioner and shampoo set it's very cheap and worth a try!

like many others, i really wanted to like this shampoo/conditioner the smell which is probably the ONLY good thing about these products, is very similar to The Body SHop's Sage and Lemongrass shampoo which was absolutely divine, and of course, discontinued :-(( alas, after ONE USE, my hair turned to STRAW which i found rathe rodd since i have used many Suave products before wihtout issue. it went straight into the stockpile, and will probably go out with the donation bin.
for reference: i am mid 40s asian, long hi lighted hair, sometimes oily scalp and no other hair issues.

I was really surprised this product didn't work out for me. Most of the cleaning or clarifying suave shampoos clean my very oily hair really well, sometimes even too much! I think this is lacking some of the harsher chemicals that my fine limp hair needs..I spent maybe 75 cents on this and instead of wasting it I'm going to use it as hand soap cause it does smell pretty good

This product is awful. It's very drying. I put 1/2 a bottle of vitamin e oil in the shampoo to add moisture and my hair still looked and felt fried. I still have half the bottle of conditioner and since I hate wasting things, I'm finishing it off by using it as shaving cream. At least it works well for that purpose!

I liked the scent in the bottle more than when I was actually shampooing. It's not the worst shampoo, but I don't know if I'd buy it again.

It doesn't strip my hair of moisture, it makes my hair feel cleaner than the Almond/Shea butter one, and it's super inexpensive. But "cleaner", doesn't really mean my head feels clean.

I guess that means I'm still on the hunt for my HG shampoo....

I personally did not like it as much as I liked some of the other suave shampoos I tried. I guess it just did not work for my hair. Nothing special. The smell was okay though. I do not think I will be buying it. Maybe I should try the almond & shea butter one.

I love this shampoo and the matching conditioner. It lathers like crazy and leaves my hair shiny without stripping it. The best part is the way it smells and feels. It's invigorating and wakes me up when I shower in the morning. I've used the Aveda equivalent and I don't find a difference, except in price. Aveda is really expensive, so I'm happy to have found a drugstore equivalent. It would be great if Suave would make a matching body wash for the same invigorating feeling and smell... that would be great.
