I so wanted to love this moisturizer! The texture and fragance are fabulous. It leaves my sking hydrated and fresh, saddly all of Chanel's Precision Skin Care line breaks me out like crazy.
I have very sensitive and reactive skin. Normally it looks silky and luminous, but all this products have so many ingrdients (what my derm said) that they even caused mea bad case of rosacea. Still my mom has amazing skin and swear by Chanel...

It's ok, but there are better. In the summer it makes my skin too shiny, think it's better when it's colder outside. The texture reminds me a little bit of EL Idealist and maybe it's too strong perfumed for some people but I do love the smell!!

Had it, used it 5 times and then gave it to my friend with extra oily skin. SA recommended this for my normal to combo skin, and it actually peeled off like it was dried white glue on my face. Moisturization factor equals zero. I wanted to love it, since I adore Chanel's make-up, but I have no good words about this. My friend with really oily skin that I gave it to, said it was ok, but nothing special. Why do they advertise it as a fluid for combo skin?

I love the feel and texture of this moisturizer and the way it sinks right into my skin (or is it evaporating?)--but like others here have said, it doesn't actually moisturize! I was thrilled that I never broke out from it, but I'm left searching for something that feels like this AND moisturizes my skin--any suggestions?

I like that this product is NOT greasy. Not at all!!! The scent (as most people would agree on) is strong. Very fragranced. It doesn't bother me as much as everyone else is saying. It was nice. But I'm not sure I feel that it's moisturizing. I was more into it because I have oily skin that it does not add any oils at all. And it didn't break me out either.
I am unsure I'd repurchase. I have to see the further results in the moisturizing department.

This product is so heavily fragranced and I almost could not stand it when first time using it. However, I love this although I still feel a little bit drying to use at night for my combination skin. The texture is so light and it sinks immediately into skin and I feel the skin is silky smooth but the moisturizing effect is not long-lasting. After trying the sample for few days I can see my skin is smoother, pores are less visible and most importantly no breakout at all. I'd would consider purchase this after the sample has finished.

This is a great lightweight moisturiser. I'm almost done with my first jar and am definately purchasing it again. I have oily t-zone and am quite prone to breakouts. My skin is also sensitive and certain ingredients cause it to break out into a rash. This moisturiser has been fantastic to me and I will continue using it (tho I might swap to the fluid as I don't like jars and prefer bottles/pumps).

I staple this product. I really love it. I have a normal/oily skin that tends to be dry on some parts. This gel makes my skin feel soft & silky and only on warm summer days I have to use a t-zone mattifier. It's got a nice rose scent, not overwhelming.

I use the oil-free version of the product.

Well this was one of my big skincare mistakes. First of all, I have to admit I was entirely seduced by the scent of this - something like fresh peaches - totally divine. And oh how I wanted to fall in love with it! But alas the stuff just doesn't deliver... well... anything. I guess it might be nice if you have extremely oily skin and want to put something on that doesn't actually do very much, but it's not for me. Plus it disintegrates on my face into tiny "pills" as I smooth it on, particularly when I apply foundation afterwards. It did nothing whatsoever for my skin, and now my 3-year-old daughter uses it as a general-purpose "nice smelly jelly".

This is just ok. It didn't break me out and that's the only reason I've give it 2 lippies, but then it didn't do much else either. It's a light gel, good for really oily skin but still not quite hydrating enough plus it has an overpowering scent which I just can't stand. The packaging looks fabulous on the bathroom shelf but don't really think that's enough to warrant the ridiculous price. There are way better products out there for alot less (try H2o+ Green Tea Antioxidant Complex) so I definitely won't be wasting my money on this again, and am only glad I picked it up cheap on trademe. Save your money!

This is so odd coming from me-
I have been using Chanel products for about 4 years, and this is the 1st time I had a severe reaction-

I have this in the oil-free one and I never had any problems-

I bought this last week and started noticing welt like dots on my face- And this stuff burned so bad and it made my face feel like plastic- Just horrible-

So if you have sensitive skin, don't use this-

Talk about garbage! What's with all the fragrance these companies keep throwing into their face products?? You shouldn't be putting fragranced lotions anywhere on your face or near your eyes. They may smell nice and if that's the case use as a body moisturizer not a facial one. They add fancy names for everyday antioxidants that are found in a ton of other products such as Neutrogena, Cetaphil etc. except these companies keep the fragrance and dyes out. I used to use Estee Lauder Chanel etc and continued to break out when the companies preached how good their products were for your skin. I bought it hook line and sinker. Alas I discovered Paulas Choice skin care line. www.paulaschoice.com and I have seen a DRAMATIC difference in my skin. No more breakouts. I am convinced it's because she uses no dyes, fragrances and plant oils. Clarins is always talking about the good oils. Plant oils are never good for your skin. Check out the book Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me.

This could have been a really nice lightweight moisturizer for normal/combo skin but for some reason Chanel adds a truckload of fragrance to their skincare products and in this case its simply too much. The heavy floral fragrance in this moisturizer will knock you out and make your skin red and irritated. Shame on you Chanel!!!
